I was seen there on Sunday by the NP Dynette. I was having female issues and she made me swab myself. I asked her to give me a vaginal exam and she refused. She prescribed me some medication and it's not working. Worst experience ever!! I'm still hurting and experiencing complications. They need to do something about this because we are not doctors!!!! Only go if Dr. T is there!!!! Also the provider never touched any part of my body at ALL!!! read more

We've had to bring my mother here twice over the past 3 months for respiratory illnesses. I personally wasn't too familiar with the "Urgent Care" process but was pleasantly surprised by the professionalism, and politeness of the staff. On both occasions, the whole ordeal of triage, swabs/testing, X-rays, doctor consultation and prescriptions took slightly less than 3 hours. Which might seem long to some people but we also spent 9 hours in the ER of a major hospital on Christmas Eve and never got seen! So this place gets my vote. Also there is free parking out front and you're not navigating a massive and costly parking deck while sick. I really can't think of any negatives, they didn't even bombard us (or anyone for that matter) with paperwork. TLDR: This place is a godsend when you're in a pinch. The staff is very knowledgeable and professional. I was not into Piedmont Hospital at all, after my stay at their hospital in Cartersville. This Urgent Care is clean, they listen to understand and not listen to reply. They are very thorough. Shontae I love her personality and the lady at the desk IDK her name but she was professional and explained the entire insurance process to us over the phone and had me ready when I got in. I visited the N Decatur Rd. location Sat. 7/19/2025 WITHOUT an appt. I waited 1hr 45min. for medical attention . Nikki & Madison Fuss,FNP-C were attentive, caring & professional. I recommend to MAKE appointments online because those patients ARE assisted promptly!!!! & at least 4 patients entered /were assisted & exited AFTER I checked in because they made online appointments. read more

I am aware this may not be totally the fault of the urgent care but what a shame when we visit an urgent care and provide insurance and our visit is 635$ however a self-pay would be 210$ flat. Just something to be wary of when visiting here. Contracted insurance rates in network are double what people with no insurance pay for the same care. read more

I went to the Piedmont Urgent Care Clinic without an appointment at 12 noon for an issue with severe red eye. As a former patient, all of my information was on file and I did not have to fill out any new paperwork. The facility is new and there was a large waiting room. I had less than a 10 minute wait before I saw Dr. Rashante Harris who was efficient, and empathetic to the needs of a Senior. She did a thorough exam and prescribed two prescriptions and a referral. I really appreciated that she came back in with a copy of the prescription and went over the right way to apply the drops for a second time. All of my insurance information was on file so I was able to leave promptly. This was an outstanding patient experience! read more

Went here expecting care...experiencing eye pain, swelling, decreased vision, draining of the eye. Don't go here. I was told by the Doctor Landram I should have went to the ER or an eye doctor. Whoever was working front desk today and yesterday needs to watch the way they speak to patients. Especially since I was simply politely checking the status of my lab work. All she had to do is check to see if it was ready but she couldn't be bothered to do that. Nurse was skilled and management was nice. But you would think front desk would have clear communication, professionalism, and not interrupt people to guess (wrongly) as to what they're gonna say. Update: results came in Friday. They never called me. It's Tuesday now and just picked up the results. Turns out they don't call and you should ask for the status, even when the manager says she will call you as soon as they come in. I get they were closed Friday because of the weather but they could have called the weekend or Monday. read more

Fraudulent billing. In network provider - 15 minute urgent care visit with all types of releases to enable them to bill post copay and insurance reimbursement. Billed almost $650 for three tests (flu, covid and strep) and an NP visit. Nurse was fair and we were rushed in and out. Go elsewhere. read more

Caveat Emptor. It's a doc in a box, so yeah, it is what is. I went to get tested for a parasite I picked up during travel. 1.5 hour wait time is a bit long, especially when you're told you're the next patient. This is almost becoming standard industry, but you'd hope a smaller place would be a help. Why bother hiring another doctor if your shareholders are doing well. I was told to take my sample to any Piedmont Urgent Care, but that wasn't the case, so I had to schlep around with my poop deposit for an hour to return to the original location. All the paperwork was in the sample box and it was being sent out so why it has to return to the orignial location doesn't make sense. On day 6 of waiting for the results, which should take 24-48 hours, I called and two hours later and still waiting to hear back. At this point my parasites are doing a tango with hundreds of new partners. read more

There is no point in scheduling an appointment when you still have to wait as if you're a walk-in patient. How is the companies name URGENT CARE when you can't even be URGENT with helping your patients. The person at the front desk spoke with a non-caring voice as if the reason why I came here wasn't URGENT. The facility was very nice, new, and clean. The staff was friendly and efficient. They saw my Mom within 25 min of our late arrival. I ran tests and found my Mom had a UTI, as we suspected; they wrote an Rx and had us out and on our way to the pharmacy. Great experience. read more

I don't go to Urgent Care often, but today exceeded any and all expectations. I dislocated my shoulder at 8am (worst pain in my life!), was at this location by 8:30, they brought me to the back by 8:45 for X-rays, and then the doctor (Jace Crawford) was able to fix it and give me next steps for recovery.
