Nice people. Not enough of them. Plan on spending 5-6 hours here...longer than an ER visit.

After over five years of loyalty to this pediatrician's office, I can no longer recommend it to…read moreother parents. While we've always received excellent care from Bethany Smith, the front office staff continues to fall short in customer service. I scheduled wellness visits for all three of my children, but later noticed only two were listed. I called and the third was added something I appreciated. We arrived at 10:03 AM, assuming all appointments began at 10:00. I was told my third child's was actually at 9:50 and we had missed the 10-minute grace period. I explained the misunderstanding, our full-time work schedules, and that school starts soon, but the front desk and manager refused to accommodate us. While still in the office, I even received a text saying I'd be charged a $40 no-show fee. Thankfully, Dr. Nina Chegireddy kindly saw my third child without hesitation for which I'm very grateful. Unfortunately, this is not the first time I've experienced dismissive treatment from the front office, but it will be the last. In my years there, I have never missed an appointment, cancelled last min, or arrived after the grace period. We drive over 30 mins to come to this office out of loyalty. Even when we moved, we visited their other locations. I understand doing business but to shorten the grace period and turn parents away is very upsetting.

About the worst you could do as far as pediatrician for your children. Build in an extra hour at…read moreminimum for each appointment. Also, if you need urgent medical records, the best they can do is 5-7 days. Medicals records are filled out incorrectly, "misplaced", and you can never get someone on the phone who takes ownership. They are an example of everything that is wrong in medicine these days, they don't care about your kids, they care about the bottom line. Disgusting.

Remarkable Review - Emergency Care Team Date: April 22, 2026…read more I would like to take a moment to recognize the exceptional care my daughter and I received during our recent emergency visit. From the moment we arrived, the team acted with urgency, professionalism, and compassion. Cherrel, who arrived with the ambulance and her partner, ensured my daughter was transported safely and remained attentive throughout the process. Kendall, my daughter Ja'lyn's nurse, provided attentive and reassuring care, keeping me informed and making sure she was stable and comfortable. I also want to recognize Jacob, who stepped in and took initiative to assist with Ja'lyn's check when he noticed it was due, even while Kendall was occupied. That level of awareness and teamwork did not go unnoticed. Dr. Melnikoff demonstrated professionalism and thoroughness in evaluating and treating my daughter. I truly appreciated him going above and beyond by following up with my daughter's cardiologist to ensure they were aligned and on the same page regarding her care. That level of coordination meant a great deal to me. I also want to acknowledge the rest of the supporting nursing staff, who worked collaboratively to ensure everything was handled efficiently. Due to their swift response and coordinated care, my daughter received the attention she needed during a very concerning situation involving low oxygen levels and low blood pressure. Their ability to remain calm, communicative, and compassionate made a stressful experience much more manageable. I truly appreciate the entire team and their dedication to patient care. -Kay

This time was a two hour visit with a blood test and iv fluids...$5000!!!! The entire visit was coded an emergency (even though we waited forever in the waiting room) and the price was astronomical...we will never go back...that's just crooked

I started visiting the practice with my second pregnancy after switching from Kaiser over to another insurance provider. This practice shares on call shifts with another OBGYN practice, unfortunately I ended up with one of their doctors I was forced to have a c-section although I had no issues with my labor. It was very late at night and the doctor was clearly very tired, and wanting to sleep. I complained every day about extreme pain and asked to see her on multiple occasions, she showed up on day 5 post surgery and told me to take morphine - said it would have little to no effect on baby while breastfeeding. I chose not to take the risk. She never looked at my incision. The pain continued, I followed up with her in the office less than one week later because my pain was 10/10 and my incision was really bothering me. Again she dismissed the pain by saying it was normal and pushed morphine on me - I declined. They never checked my temperature, blood pressure, or urine during that visit. A few hours later my blood pressure and temperature spiked, concerned about my well being I left my baby and went to the ER. ER doc ran some imaging and said I had a severe infection that had spread across my lower and upper abdomen, this would've been visible to any doctor who had taken a look at my incision. As a parent and doctor, he said he would've never been okay with his own wife breastfeeding an infant while taking morphine. I received great treatment from him, and he actually called me on 3 different occasions to see how I was doing! My baby's pediatrician even called twice to make sure I was recovering okay. Guess how many times Dr. Durairaj followed up? ZERO. Don't Visit This Doctor
