Wow! I'm impressed. As a former CHOA employee, I got to experience service on the other side and was pleased. The wait time isn't longer than a doctor's office both times I had to come. Doctor Stewart was who we saw this evening and she was amazing! Gave us a full evaluation and gave us good remedies. Was happy with the results. In and out within an hour in a half despite all the children there. Really good to see the level of care dedicated to pediatrics. Will definitely come back to this location. One thing to note - they do not open until 11am. That is the only downfall! read more

Went there today because my 5 year old has been having a high fever since yesterday. I filled everything out on the iPad and I let them know that he has a super high fever and if someone could check his fever super quick being that I know a super high fever can cause a child to have seizures. They told me at the front desk that there were 16 patients ahead of me and that every kid in there has a fever. My sense of urgency for MY CHILD was not their sense of urgency!! I left immediately to take my child elsewhere. They were so unprofessional!!!!!! They asked me if I could sign out so I wouldn't be charged! No I can not! My son is SICK! I will never return to this urgent care ever again! I will always do what's best for my child. Be mindful before you take your child here! read more

ALWAYS USE this urgent care if you can avoid the emergency room. The facility is impeccably clean; the staff are warm and genuinely care; the nurses are quick and knowledgeable; and the patients are seen by a medical doctor with fabulous bedside manner. We had the most wonderful experience at this urgent care six years ago. So when my 6 year old daughter fell and suffered a deep laceration that clearly required multiple stitches, we rushed to this urgent care first. We were immediately evaluated by two nurses to assess whether the doctor onsite could stitch the wound or whether we would have to go to the emergency room. Once it was confirmed that we did not have to go to the emergency room, they applied numbing cream to alleviate the terrible pain. My 6-year-old was terrified and crying hysterically. Mary was gentle, kind and patient. We waited in the lobby and the calm environment eased my daughter's nerves. When we were taken back for stitches, Nikesha introduced herself and explained what would happen. She even warmed the cold solution in a cup of water so that it would not shock my daughter so much. Nikesha was very attentive to my daughter and kept her calm and brave. Nikesha also calmed nervous mom. Dr. Mahajan is very experienced. I was worried about stitches to my daughter's face, but Dr. Mahajan's wonderful bedside manner and competence assured me that my daughter was in good hands. Her FIVE stitches were expertly done and when I removed the bandages a couple of days later, my husband was very impressed with Dr. Mahajan's work. Everyone thinks it will heal well. At the end, Mary circled back around to make sure we were okay and to praise my daughter. Everyone was so kind, attentive, and genuinely cared about the patient and the nerves of both parent and child. They were very thorough in aftercare instructions and did not get frustrated when I asked multiple time. I was very nervous. None of my children ever needed stitches until then. As a busy working mom, I have been able to take care of my daughter's wound because of the excellent after care instructions. Bizarre experience here today. Brought in my daughter for an ear infection ... there is a questionnaire that they go over, like prior medical history, allergies and so on ... out of the blue they ask my kid a question "do you feel safe at home"? Now ... what's that to do with the ear infection? As a paying customer, it's just mind blowing an urgent care .. some random joe, would suggest I am making my kid unsafe .... The are getting better and through the pandemic we need them for the little ones Toddler got chalk stuck‍ in her Ear went late evening which I love they was open after I got off work and the doctor which I seen her prior wirh my older doctor reassured me they were going to get it out ... she's a big two took four of us to hold her down but they got it out I'm so grateful. read more

I loved this urgent care. Every time my kids are sick and their doctor is not open I bring them here and it's always a great experience. This last trip was extra great. My son got his ear cut by a barber and needed stitches, they got him in and out. The doctor whom I wish I remembered his name was so nice and did such an amazing job on his stitches and was so patient and kind and the best experience I've had! I had a great experience at this urgent care. They seemed well organized. I was quickly escorted into a room, and I met with a doctor shortly. They were very kind, warm, and talkative with my son. I was pleased with the care provided to my son by the nurse and doctor. The staff all seemed very polite. read more

The people who work there are nice, but you will be here for 4-6 hrs. I got here at 12 exactly. It is 3:20 right now and I'm still waiting for my kid to be seen and checked up. This takes way to long even if it's an emergency. Don't really recommend unless you want to be waiting around 5-6 hours with a good amount of people being sick around you read more

Fantastic experience. I brought my 8yo daughter in and we were there a little under one hour. I was able to sign-in online and reserve a spot, although it was not very busy when we got there. The lady who checked us in was pleasant and efficient. We spent about 10 min in the waiting area before being called back. The nurse was very friendly and explained everything before doing it. We were then sent to our room and a wonderful comforting doctor came in to diagnose. She made her diagnosis and then the nurse came in with all the checkout paperwork. Everything was clean and staff was so terrific. It's not somewhere you would choose to visit, but it was definitely as good as could be expected. read more

loved this place when they first opened. Patient care seemed to be a top priority. Now, it seems like a mad house and they don't seem to care about the patients anymore. You are just a number as they give you when you walk in the door. I took my daughter there Saturday night with a 103.5 fever. Her heart rate was 156. They would not run any tests. I asked for her to be tested for the flu. Dr. Nadlor (I think that's the spelling) refused to test her and said she wouldn't treat her for the flu or anything. I understand some doctors don't want to prescribe Tamiflu due to the side effects, but with a fever this high any parent should know what their child has and what to signs watch out for. I had to take her to her pediatrician Monday and she tested positive for the flu. I guess it would have taken 15 more minutes for them to run a test and report it to the CDC. It was a wasted trip and a waste of money. I used to recommend this facility, but would discourage anyone from going unless it's a life threatening emergency and in that case you should go on to the ER where you are expected to be a number. read more

Haven't gotten to the appointment yet - so I'll update on the check in. Here are my recommendations: 1. Don't bother with online waitlist. It makes no difference. It actually might work out better to just walk in as every parent who walked in after me was seen at least 30 minutes before. Mind you - out of the 5 walk-ins, there were no serious emergencies. 2. Check in frequently at the front desk. I was in the waiting room for 45 minutes. I finally went up to the front desk and then was informed that they had my paper work sitting there the entire time and now I needed to fill it out. 3. Consider another facility with better service. Maybe you will actually be seen. 4. Can't comment on the quality of care because I'm still waiting for someone to look at my 12 year olds sprained ankle. 1 hour later and still waiting. Update - the actual appointment was great. The techs and the doctor were extremely helpful in explaining what was happening and what to do for my son's injury. I will be back vs going to general urgent care. I still stand by my feedback on check in process. read more

Last night, we took the baby to Children's Healthcare of Atlanta Urgent Care in Brookhaven. She had a horrible cough. Despite the circumstances, it was a very pleasant experience. I highly recommend it -- this Children's urgent care was open later than all others. We drove 40 minutes to get here. The nurse practitioner was so good, I asked and she answered all my questions, irrelevant to this urgent visit, I would typically ask a pediatrician. read more

Definitely not the CHOA experience I'm used to. It felt more like a outside of the perimeter DMV or Drug Test or testing clinic. The worst front desk check-in experience. We had to stand up during the entire registration and they seemed inattentive. Waited for a while in the lobby, with literally only 1 family waiting with us. Excellent care, experience, office in every way. Check-in and wait was quick. Nurses were very friendly and good at their job. Dr. Eke provided great direction, and offered lots of her time to get to the bottom of the issue and address questions. I've been to plenty of clinics and doctor's offices but never have had a better experience than this Children's Urgent Care. read more

My daughter had to receive stitches the other night! We live very close to this urgent care so we came here! It was amazing! Nurse Stephanie is literally one of the best medical professionals I have ever dealt with! She answered all my questions, reassured me, but most importantly made the process so fun and calm that my two year old continues to ask for her and talk about her! She was patient, kind, knowledgeable, and so attentive! Dr. Sullivan was excellent as well! He stitched my daughter beautifully, quickly, and kindly! He was calming, reassuring, decisive, and knowledgeable. Even though it was an unfortunate situation, I was so glad I was in these professional hands! Thank you!! read more

Staff is very friendly and helpful, but...... both of my kids were either misdiagnosed and they missed an ailment. One had a sinus infection that lead to other infections while taking the medicine, but missed the ear infection she had. I took her to her pediatrician and we found out about the ear infection which could have been found in the beginning had the doctors paid attention. I went back but I'd rather go to urgent care than the ER, next time I will go to the ER. Anyway, I was told my son just had a bad cough, give him cough drops, cold water humidifier and plenty of liquids. What good that did, now my son has severe bronchitis and is on even more medicines. I am very, very disappointed and I refuse to go back. A hospital designed for children and totally screwed my kids. Thanks a lot. You other people can keep on loving them, always get a second opinion or go to your regular pediatrician after a visit. I would really hate for kids to end up like mine. read more
