They opened right on time and I was in the room within minutes of checking in. I saw a nurse practictionaer, and as a person of the healthcare field, I was satisified with the knowledge of the caregiver. The worst medical facility I have ever been to. I had an hour during my lunch break to have my TB Test read which they could not manage to do within an hour. It takes 10 seconds. I politely told them I had to get back to work and that I just need someone to look at my arm for 10 seconds. They acted like I was the rude one and probably had no clue why I was even there. Eventually at the last minute a doctor came and did it but somehow since I said I needed to leave they did not provide the documentation to me even after the fact. The front desk receptionist (Lauren) was extraordinarily dismissive and rude. She immediately cut me off upon entering the area as I was trying to explain I would unfortunately need her assistance in order to finalize checking in. By the end of the experience, I was so angry I was shaking. If I had not been there for my four year old, I would've probably lost it. Alas, I did lose my cool and later apologized which gave her ample room and opportunity to acknowledge how incredibly rude and condescending she was, but nope. The great part was everyone after her. Very helpful and nice, short wait time. When we arrived I was one of two people in the lobby. I understand having a bad day, but girl, get that together and ask for a coworker to help if you need to regroup in the back and scream or something. i had a medical issue and visited the urgent care in newnan on 10/24/25 the nurse Chasidy saw me and said she cannot do anything today on a friday evening and i should come back the next day saturday morning and i wont be charged for the next day, i went the next day and she was able to help, but later they charged me for both the days and when my insurance denied on charge because it was duplicate they charged my credit card which they take in advance if the insurance does not cover it, so they charges my insurance for one day and charged me for the other day so they are double dipping and frauding patients, bad business practice read more

Still awaiting lab results, I felt a little uneasy about leaving his stool sample in the room without them at least writing his name on it though. I had a deeply troubling experience at this urgent care facility. I waited in the examination room for over 40 minutes without anyone checking on me. When I decided to cancel my appointment due to the excessive wait, the secretary's behavior was unprofessional and alarming. She was rude, dismissive, and did not introduce herself or offer to reschedule. Instead, she told me to leave and when I asked for her name and position, she yelled my full name which was very rude in my opinion being that I simply just didn't know her and wanted to make sure I wasn't being billed for an incomplete appointment after she yelled my information she had pointed pointed to the exit door. Given that I was suffering from an ear infection and just needed my ears flushed, I was already in a vulnerable state. Her aggressive and prejudiced attitude made the situation even worse. I left feeling distressed and humiliated, which led to a breakdown. I am deeply disappointed and concerned that her treatment was influenced by racial bias. This experience was not only unprofessional but also distressing, and I feel it is crucial for the facility to address such behavior to prevent future occurrences. read more

Poor customer service and false advertising. Advertise free Covid testing. However they charge you for a doctor's visit (150.00), but says the test is free??? If you have insurance (200.00) the cost for the visit is higher. 2nd incident - visit for a rash, treated with ointments only, they said if it does not improve return at no cost. Rash got worst, returned 2 days later got injection and abx, bill my insurance for an additional 200+ dollars. When I followed up regard the 3nd billing, I was told that I need to follow up with my insurance to get the money returned??? My insurance says the clinic need to submit a corrective claims. At that time they told me there were 7 people in front of me. 45 minutes after my appt time there were 5 people ahead of me. I booked the time slot at this UC so I wouldn't have to wait for the 7pm slot that was available at the PTC location. Definitely not worth it. read more

I have gone to the Summit in Newnan for several years now. They have absolutely gone down hill. Why have a phone is you aren't going to answer it? For as much as you are charging for the "free test" hire someone to answer the phones! $10 an hr will suffice. How can you help people if you won't actually take their call or return any voicemails?? Basically in order for me to reach someone I have to go to the clinic with people who need to be there while I have covid just so I can expose them in order to pay to speak to a doctor who I already paid to see and never returned my call like they said they would!??? I was seen at the urgent care and was charged a whole different price from which I was quoted. I called the billing department management and was told it was a mistake. Piedmont refused to correct the mistake made by one of their own employees. My visit was supposed to be self pay, but this company filed a claim with my insurance without my permission, even though I paid my payment upfront. ( I will definitely be contacting my insurance company about this as well) ...the manager over the billing department is very unprofessional. Was seen and got tested for COVID. They said the lab is super backed up so I would get a notification on mychart if my test was positive. I checked later that afternoon and it was positive. So I called them to ask if I could get an order to get the monoclonal antibody infusion and they said one of the nurses would call me back. Well no one called so I called again around 7pm. Having recently moved to the Atlanta area, I didn't have a doctor yet. I got a bladder infection and went to Summit. They were extra busy and it took awhile to be seen, but they were professional, thorough and took good care of me. I would recommend them any day. Really disappointing and frustrating. Usually this clinic is fine for aftercare but does not take place of my PCP. Tonight I was treated rudely and unfairly. I came in shortly before closing, was rushed through blood pressure with a cuff too small which caused pain and broken blood vessels on my arm. When I politely said I do not feel comfortable with the Z- pax prescribed as my husband had a life threatening reaction to it before and requested a different prescription I was treated rudely and as though I was not being honest by the female PA. So disappointing that a sick patient can come in and be treated so unkindly, whether I arrived at 8:50 or not. Makes me appreciate my PCP all the more. The summit seems more involved with taking care of company affairs and physicals more than actually caring for patients. Get a real doctor and go see him/her instead. You will get a better diagnosis not just some generic treatment and shoved out the door. Also, I had the flu for a week and they told me it was their policy to only give a two day work/school excuse. They told me I had to wait for them if I wanted to stretch the excuse to three days; an hour later of waiting and they say that my diagnosis was only governed 1-2 sick days on an excuse, like I was some punk trying to get out of work, or some high school student guilty of truancy. Why would they care? It's not like I was in there all the time asking for excuses. I've literally been to summit twice in three years. Who are they working for me or the corporations? I just got the flu and like the rest of the country it's everywhere, in the midst of that the staff were friendly and helpful and the place was packed and they still made sure everyone was well taken care of. The Doctor, Ron Malcolm was one of the best I have ever seen. He has a fantastic bed side manor very knowledgeable and thoughtful. The nurse staff and greet staff were just the same. . Went in last night with my daughter (who has multiple special needs and is nonverbal) because she hurt her foot/ankle. It wasn't busy, we were immediately taken care of, and taken back. The Drs/Nurses were very thorough of their questions and examinations. The staff was very understanding, caring, and gentle with her (even with the x-rays). Just know that if you have Medicare (even with the supplement) don't go here you will embarrassed by a front desk attendant and sent down to the other facility with no doctor to see the PA and get second class care with the other poor people. This place is really good. The wait times are not long at all, the front desk ladies are so nice and the doctors and nurses so professional. The facility is really clean. This is definitely better than a ER and affordable if you don't have insurance. It's a walk-in clinic so I didn't need an appointment. I will be back if I need to. read more

Me and my husband have been to this facility many times. Every time we have been there we have been treated quickly and accurately. They have always been professional and friendly. Even when they were busy we were treated quickly. I'm very surprised that a few people say they have had bad experiences because that obviously is not the norm for this facility! I've been here two or three times for minor illnesses. As far as an urgent care facility goes, this one is definitely the friendliest place I've been to. I guess their care is okay, IF they'll see you. I realize as a private facility, they have the right to do this but I've never in my life encountered anywhere that refused ALL government insurance. No Medicare, no Tricare for Life...seniors and veterans not wanted or welcome here. And they have NO problem turning their back on you regardless of what shape you're in. Bold. I was able to get my daughter seen on private insurance, and the wait was an eternity. So as long as you take the words "Urgent" and "Care" out of their name, you've got a good feel for what you'll get. read more

Poor advertising. This office (Johnson Ferry location) should make it clear on their huge signs out front (that advertise rapid testing) and even online that a clinic visit and/or virtual visit is necessary before COVID testing. I waited for over an hour outside after talking to the clinic, before they called me up. I was then told they wouldn't accept my insurance. I offered to self-pay and they wouldn't accept cash!! You wonder why COVID is spreading? It's because these clinics don't care who gets tested/quarantined/treated. That's all they want to do is make money off of insurance companies. They want to be able to charge a huge amount for an office visit and then a separate huge charge for a COVID test which is the only thing you end up getting. What a scam! My daughter came in for a sick visit on 9/28/2016 yesterday and was told it was a virus and was given three prescription.. the diagnoses did not sit right with me , so I took her to another doctor on 9/29/2016 the next day, and she was diagnosed with pneumonia!!! This is the second incidence.. I brought my son in two days in a row to finally be diagnosed with bronchitis!!! His prescription was change and more money out of pocket for me once again!! read more
