Dan is a creative, caring, and communicative business owner. His team, led by Seth, was an absolute pleasure to work with - they did a truly fantastic job and were so nice and helpful throughout. After they were done, we had a small issue with drainage (because right after they laid down the patio, there were torrential downpours for days, not allowing our pavers to settle). I'm not kidding when I say within five minutes of emailing Dan on a Friday evening to let him know, he called us to say he and Seth were coming over right away to take a look. Because of continued bad weather, they had to come back a few times over the next few weeks to make sure everything was good. Yes, they made our patio a little slice of heaven, but we were actually the most impressed with their post-project attentiveness and customer-focused desire to make everything right. Now we have a perfect space and can't wait to enjoy it over the summer! Highly, highly recommend!

Horrible first Impression Found ad in Clipper Magazine,…read morecalled and spoke to a woman and set an appointment for the next week for an estimate. Never got a confirmation call. When no one showed up at set appointment time, I waited 5 minutes and called just to confirm that someone was on their way. No one answered phone. Had to call twice. Finally someone called me back, said person who was supposed to come for appointment was unable to come because they had a concrete job that someone else didn't show up for so my estimator had to replace their other no show. While I understand that things happen, zero communication is unacceptable. The woman who called me back said she couldn't call me to alert me that no one was showing up for my appointment because she didn't know the estimator was not going to show up! If this is how they try to earn business, I can't imagine what you would get if you actually went ahead and hired them for a job.

Luke, the owner, went above and beyond my expectations. My first call, I was called back almost instantly. He came when he said he would ON TIME!! He set dates , which unfortunately had to be changed 3 times. (Rain) But.... He texted, emailed or called. There was total communication from the very beginning. I would not recommend them…read more Hired them after seeing all the good reviews. Among other issues, communication is quite poor; I had to constantly contact them for answers. Didn't complete the whole job as discussed. Didn't double check with me on certain things or ask if I was satisfied. This is not an organized, proactive, customer-focused company; they just want your money. Spend it on another company who has time for you, communicates with you, and genuinely wants to make you happy.

This shop has a large selection of absolutely beautiful light fixtures. They stock items from 350…read moremanufacturers. Prices are very reasonable and the customer service is excellent. I prefer mom and pop shops to chain stores. Sometimes it's a bit busy in there, but you do get very personalized attention. I took 2 lamps to be repaired there and they charged me only $20 apiece. I also took a chandelier to have some work done and get cleaned up, and they did a beautiful job at a very fair price. It was far less than I expected. I needed a light for a powder room and was trying to decide on a couple. They took down the display models, wired them so I could plug them into an outlet, and let me take them home to check them out in my bathroom. They didn't charge me anything to do so! It's a good thing I did take them home, because the one I thought I preferred would nit work out there. So it was good I had the back up. That one also happened to be on sale, and I got a much better price than I expected. I bought a ceiling fan as well. Upon installing it, the motor wasn't working properly. The store ordered another to replace it. Again, they were very helpful and offered to replace it immediately.
