Definitely a 5-star operation in my eyes, though I really did not have any prior experience with such a company/circumstance as this one before I contacted this company. I unfortunately had a broken window at my house due to something hitting it during a storm we'd had not long before that (August 2010) and needed the glass in the window frame replaced. I found this company listed on the Service Magic website and, seeing that it was perhaps open on a Saturday, phoned to see if someone could come by and replace the glass. I got in touch with the company's owner, who said he could be over to my house within half an hour. (Impressive, considering that the company is in Sanford and I live off Princeton Street.) I think he actually arrived in less than half an hour, which was surprising and welcomed. The glass cost $124.50 to fix, and I was charged $100 for him to come out on a Saturday (perhaps the company's not truly open on Saturdays, but he makes exceptions for emergencies ... not sure this was one, but I definitely needed the glass replaced), but the price was worth the repair and excellent customer service. The new glass was installed in probably 10 minutes or so, which was much less time than I was expecting. Also, the owner was very courteous and friendly and asked that I post a review of his company/the experience on the Service Magic website. I did that and am now posting one on Yelp as well in the event that someone looks up this company on here or needs a good review for a repair job similar to the one I required. I would have posted this review much sooner, but I could not remember the company's name for the longest time ... until I went through some paperwork today and found the receipt for the repair. He call everyone that works for him stupid . if you can get him to answer your call or show up good luck . takes him months to get to your job . 5 Stars for great follow-up with quotes and a job well-done…read more I needed a half glass wall for my shower, after having spent a month showering in the corner trying not to wet the floor. Could I have added a curtain temporarily? Yes. Would that have let me put this order and installation off for another few years? Surely. Frank answered our Request a Quote on Yelp with some great information. After that, we got a quote and were able to move forward. Frank came by to look at the shower and make his own measurements (a good thing, because ours were definitely off). He also made some suggestions- like raising the top of the glass higher. In hindsight, leaving it the way we had initially planned would have been a wet disaster, so I appreciated his expertise. Eventually, a final quote came our way. I'll admit that I missed the call and then never called Frank back, so I'm glad he had great follow-up to account for my forgetfulness! We scheduled installation as soon as the glass piece had arrived at his workshop and Frank and another gentleman came and had it installed in no time. He noticed a part of my shower wasn't caulked and even caulked it himself, though it wasn't necessary to the job. Really great service! In the end, we're very happy with the new shower glass and would recommend Frank to anyone in the future. Plus, I have a mirror I need fitted in a frame, so he'll be hearing back from me soon!
