What's one to say? Pierre Hermé does elegant macarons. So many flavors to try. The macarons are delicate and a delight to the mouth.

I love macarons and was not going to leave Paris without having any! Came here with my boyfriend to buy a couple of macarons to share and some chocolate to take home with us. The workers were a bit busy but we were able to get what we wanted and leave. The macarons were sooo delicious and I'm so happy that i chose to come to Pierre's over the other options since there are a few of them in my hometown of LA. Highly recommend stopping here for some treats!

After purchasing a box of seven macarons during my first visit to Paris, I made my way down to the Jardin des Tuileries a block away and found a seat near the Jeu de Paume where I could eat these macarons for lunch. No, not because they were that good. (But yeah, I mean, they were pretty good.) I had just dropped €18 on macarons for which I couldn't quite justify the high price point just yet and my study abroad wallet couldn't take another beating that afternoon. (Oh, to be in college again...) You know, I'm not too sure why I chose Pierre Hermé over Ladurée, the latter of which is the quintessential Parisian macaron store or so its long lines imply. I wasn't terribly fussed about tradition (besides, I could have gone to a Ladurée in the States) and loathed the idea of waiting in a line since I was pressed for time during my weekend jaunt in Paris. So Pierre Hermé it would have to be and I found myself at this location before a visit to the Musee de l'Orangerie. I went with chocolate, salted caramel, and rose, though in retrospect I should have sampled one of the more unique flavors Pierre Hermé is known for. But I'm a sucker for anything chocolate -- the crispy and airy macaron shell and rich, silky smooth chocolatey ganache filling was definitely worth it. I've also never understood the rose flavor trend but I enjoyed Pierre Hermé's subtle take on it. Pierre Hermé gained my allegiance, my stomach didn't grumble in protest later when I was soaking in Monet's "Water Lilies," and I returned for another chocolate macaron or two during my most recent visit to Paris.

Very cute place that is decorated well with colors and fancy like declarations. The staff was easy talk to and were very helpful when asked about the flavors. I did not feel rushed during my time there and was very happy to try their newest macaron that is made with fingerling limes! The fingerling limes did have little pops in my mouth when I was chewing into them so that was really exciting.

    Voted #1 by customers!!

We saw a long line during our route home and decided to check it out - instead of getting their famous macaroons we opted for their #1 and #2 popular choices. Both of them are yummy and would defiantly go back in the near future!!

The best macaroons! Unfortunately this location pretty much only has the macaroons and none of the beautiful cakes or pastries that I've seen on Yelp at the other locations. But I stopped by after visiting nearby Chanel. I got 7 macaroons for 18 Euro. They were a splurge but worth it. They just have the most perfect shell with the right amount of crisp and chewiness. The texture is slightly better than those at Laudree and I like Pierre's unique and bold flavors. I will always be a sucker for "standard" macaroon flavors such as salted caramel and a really good chocolate one, but we also enjoyed the unique ones such as rose, lycee, yogurt and raspberry. Definitely check out a Pierre Herme while in Paris for a sensuous sweet treat. I may have not eaten as many croissants or pastries in Paris as I thought I would, but I was happy that I got to get macaroons twice (even though I wanted to go to PH one more time before I left). Pierre Herme, please open up a shop in the US!

Disappointed. The flavors were not as distinctive as Laduree, but I also like Boutegga louie in Los Angeles better than both. Coming to Paris, I had to make sure to try as many different macarons I could get my hands on. But I was greatly disappointed here for many reasons. The flavors selection was huge but the macaroons just didn't measure up to my expectations. The customer service was also a bit cold.

Delicious macarons! Grabbed a box of seven and they did not disappoint. We were able to enjoy this box of goodies with a bottle of wine, this is definitely a suggested combination.

Chocolates and macarons were top notch, as was the service. The only downside is that this particular location has a limited range of products compared to their larger boutiques. The more sensational pastries--what Pierre Hermé is really known for--cannot be found at this location. However, the store can arrange to have your pastry of choice brought to their location. If I had to choose one macaron in Paris though, I'd head to Ladurée. The texture of Ladurée macarons is about as close to perfect as you can get.

O M G. Make sure you stop by at this place for your fix of delicious macarons!! Ask for a menu - it'll tell you all the flavors in both French and English so you know what you're choosing!! Prices are 2.2-2.5 euro depending. I had quite a few (raspberry, pistachio, passion fruit - all tasted as you'd expect) the specialty chocolate ones were yummy but I wasn't blown out the door BUT SOME OF THEM WERE OUTSTANDING, I've had to update this review a few times because I kept going back to try more hahahha. My faves: +orange blossom - has that slight flowery scent and filled with some citrusy light cream ++jasmine - omg. If you like jasmine tea this is delicious and tastes like they captured jasmine into this delicious shimmery macaron ++hazelnut praline - it tastes like NUTELLA so good ++rose - it tastes like I'm actually eating a soft crumbly melt in your mouth flower, delicious

Cool flavors, crispy and spongy cookies. Pretty much just your textbook macarons. Dope flavor: pate and fig.

Macaroons are amazing. Worth buying and trying. Macaroons are fresh, very light and fluffy consistency.

This chocolate boutique was founded in the 80s by Patrice Chapon, once an ice cream purveyor for Buckingham Palace. Since then, he introduced his now-famed bar a mousse concept, allowing chocolate enthusiasts to sample made-in-house varieties of mousse sourced from cocoa beans across the world. I first visited a Chapon outpost on a quiet side street of Saint-Germain-des-Pres. You might miss the narrow storefront and brown awning on first glance, but melon-sized bowls of mousse in the window are unmistakable. The interior is warmly lit, featuring tastefully worn wood motifs. The backlit shelves to the right are curated with prepackaged confections, while the display to the left is decked with à la carte chocolates. We arrived for an early afternoon treat, and the friendly service patiently talked us through and offered samples of multiple mousse varieties. My favorite was the Equadorian, a dark, full-bodied flavor with some floral notes. I also enjoyed my sister's Madagascar, which had a thickness and richness reminiscent of caramel. My mother opted for the lighter, fluffier Peruvian, which was nearly the consistency of meringue. Lastly, the 100% dark Venezuelan had the thickest texture; however, the red wine-y flavor might turn some off. While the mousse is delicious, the prices might be harder to swallow; our 3 small portions ran over 20 euros. Nonetheless, I was impressed by the staff's ability to suggest an ideal mousse to suit each of our preferences. For a unique experience and a mousse that is sure to impress, don't miss out on Chapon.

Lunch reservations for Pierre Hermé is always a good idea. This one is inside the Bonmarché complex…read more- just walk to the back of the large entryway with all the restaurants We had a small drama over our table as I'm guessing they thought we did not have a reservation so they wanted to seat us by the entrance while all these other tables, in the empty restaurant, had "reserved" signs on them. After pointing out again we also had a reservation, we were seated inside at one of the better tables with the placard & not right beside the door which was constantly opening. So eventually things worked out & all was well The food definitely made up for the table miscommunication as it was over the top delicious. Mr chose the mushroom French toast with mushrooms and hazelnut cream. It was pudding-like and very strong mushroom flavor which was delightful I chose the roasted cauliflower and it was likewise superb. Roasted and marinated cauliflower with yellow florets, pine nuts, pomegranate seeds and puréed cauliflower base. Dessert included 2 passion fruit & a pistachio macaron. Intense flavors, soft cookie Food perfection all around!

Their desserts have a lower price for carry out btw. I ordered the 2000 feuilles, Jardin japonais, strawberry tart and 3 macaroons. For the 2000 feuilles, it's like a Napoleon with hazelnut in between. It somewhat taste like ferrer rocher in a way. It's my favorite out of the 3 since I like hazelnut and it's not too sweet. They also did a really good job with the Napoleon part for the dessert. As for Jardin japonais, it has a matcha flavored top with yuzu cream at the bottom. It's light, not too sweet. I only got a bit from the strawberry tart and it seems alright. Overall, I'll definitely try other things if I come back. Btw, they have some macaroons flavor that you can't find elsewhere
