Solid grocery. It's not huge and it's not small. This grocery has got everything from bakery and deli to beer and greeting cards. Fresh made sandwiches to go looked like a good grab-n-go option. Piggly Wiggly is a great little store. I needed to pick up some essentials while at the fishing camp, and this is the closest store. My essentials included hoghead cheese, boudin, turkey necks and water. They did not have turkey necks, so we opted for chicken wings. The crabs love turkey necks, but in a pinch, chicken wings will also work. The store is small, but well stocked. They had a very good selection of meat, produce and other grocery items for such a small store. The store was clean and the staff was very friendly. This is my kind of store. Maybe it reminds me of the stores of my youth, but I love the small old style stores. The store sits across the street from the Bayou, so the view from the front window is amazing. I will definitely use this store again for all my shopping needs when in Chauvin. read more
