Email was my prefer communication but he insisted on phone calls only. I am disabled from this car accident and working - everyday a struggle he has a team and no one could type an email to me?? I expect more from a law firm. He basically blamed me for his firm not getting out of pocket expenses icbc owed for over 2 years in the amount of $1000. At time i was having to use food bank services when i was previously accustomed to prawns before being made disabled by the insurer not doing the right thing. I would think you hire a law firm to get these things paid because you really need the $$ for day day survival. The firm failed to move the Part 7 portion along which could have easily gotten the out of pocket monies paid. I did not have the best clear records for my reimbursements but when I ask his assistant Nikita for a format she did not understand what i was referring too??? egregious i say. I bet you she was very good looking. Also I do believe he failed to prepare for my June 2020 trial i had been waiting on for 6 years due to covid when he could have got the matter heard without a jury which would have been in my best interest. He basically was pressuring me to settle when i said no. He would not take my no for any answer. I now may have to wait another 3 years? or so. And he will not release my documents to the new law firm. It's been I think two months and the new firm has paid the disbursements Mr Fuglestveit requested. I would say that if your car accident is minor this firm allocates new lawyers a few years in their career. If ever in a car accident do not go it along - i was extremely foolish. As i know a thing or two about the law and am a powerhouse - ICBC is heinous - that is how they make their millions - off of insured people sufferings. Get the best lawyer you can get and do not use this firm. I do believe it is all a bad system and the lawyers i think just want to settle the cases not really fight for your rights - they are too busy. Again all just my opinion.
