After being recently involved in an accident, I searched for a local therapy center and found Pike Therapy Center. I have truly been skeptical of Chiropractic Care though I had never experienced any professional treatment. I made an appointment; and from the first visit to the Dr. and office I could tell this was a professionally run business. From the moment I met Dr Miles I was impressed with his experience and sincerity. I really felt good and knew I had made the right choice in choosing Pike Therapy Center for my physical rehabilitation. Dr Miles spent a great deal of time studying my x-rays and discussed with me the approach and treatment methods he was going to use to get me back to health. The assistants and staff ALL did such a professional job; that it really made it a pleasure to get treatment each and every visit. I honestly have found very few companies out there, (in any field) that function as well as Pike Therapy Center. Dr. Miles, Dr. Murdoch, and the other Doctors Who worked on me; did such a fantastic job! The girls that did all aspects of my treatment including stretching, Ultrasound, cool pack, and definitely massage were highly skilled at everything they did for me. The treatments worked fantastic; and I put Pike Therapy Center second to none in their field! I have already recommended friends and relatives to go to Pike Therapy and will continue to do so. After 5 total visits with my wife who took a fall 13 years ago everything about this office has been absolutely Amazing! Dr. Briggs is extremely knowledgeable and well mannered. His staff is also top notch. My wife has been suffering for years with horrible pain and stiffness. In just 5 visits the results have been night and day life changing. I can only imagine the results she will have as we continue this journey. When we walk into the office everyone is so personable. They remember us and we feel like friends not a typical sterile doctors office dynamic, we really enjoy that. Dr. Briggs is great at explaining procedures and treatments in a way we non medical professionals can understand, he genuinely listens to his patients (he remembered a question I had asked 3 weeks prior), he treats according to progress (he felt as if we could go 2 treatments a week instead of 3 which made me feel that he genuinely cared more about treatment than profits), every single one of his staff members is so pleasant and knowledgeable, and the cost of treatments from consult xrays to adjustments are ridiculously affordable. They really do have options to fit every budget. All the rooms are very clean and welcoming. All the equipment is also clean and functioning (i can be quite the germaphobe). Staff is constantly washing their hands and maintaining a clean environment. I highly highly HIGHLY reccomend Pike Therapy for all your chiropractor needs. Amazing!!! I have had a massive amount of pain in my knees & back that started pretty early on for me, surely a result of high school & college sports. I began searching for a doctor over a year ago because the pain became severe enough that it began to affect my daily chores & activities. I found myself watching from the sidelines more and more often with my children. Every doctor I saw prescribed pain pills and steroids just to alleviate the pain for 4-6 hours, no matter how much breath I wasted telling them I needed relief and therapy all I seemed to get were pills, pills & more pills.il I was referred to Pike Chiropractic by a friend & What a blessing! Dr. Briggs is a wonderful, sympathetic & understanding human, he was the first one who actually set down and listened to me without trying to dull the pain with medicine that I was begging at this point to not be given any more of. I have been in therapy now for around a month and I can telll a drastic difference in my back and the way I am able to bend and twist without the sharp shooting pains I use to have. My knees still pop a little from time to time but I've found myself running and playing more with the boys. The things I use to do, I have found more enjoyable than ever! I was recommended by a massage therapist to try Piezo Wave Therapy at Pike. Having never heard of this, I was extremely interested considering I've been in pain for over a year due to an automobile accident. Staff was very friendly and scheduled me quickly for a consultation. After consultation, I was able to do first treatment same day. This therapy is non-invasive and quick. There are only a few offices that offer this treatment in Ohio so if you are close by, I recommend looking into this office. I've had other physical therapy sessions, visited two other chiropractors, had injections and medical massage without improvement. This is the only thing that has helped greatly and improvement was noticed after a few treatments. I definitely would recommend visiting Pike for your chiropractic needs. Just after tornado hit our home and I was overworking my body. I went to Pike chiropractic with severe pain in lower back and hip. I could barely walk or sit. Having to do so much work i had to get better. My first meeting he asked a lot of questions about personal goals and took x-rays. No adjustments so I was worried. He had me come back next day and went over xrays with me and explained in detail of everything he could do for me. I was back to work on my property in a few days with little pain. After a couple of weeks of treatment I'm at 95% and able to work on my property. The staff is amazingly nice and cheerful always. Makes the visits very pleasant. Dr. Briggs has been a lifesaver for me! I've been watching my eight-month-old grandson 3 days a week and I thought I was going to have to tell my daughter I could not watch him anymore because of my aching back. I have degenerative disc disease and I I have been searching for help before I threw in the towel. Visited other chiropractors and they were ALL to expensive for all I needed. Dr. Briggs at Pike Therapy is getting the job done at a third of the cost. Decompression machine, adjustments and therapy have gotten me to a point where I am watching my grandson 5 days a week!! Awesome experience with this practice. The administrative staff is friendly and helpful. Dr Briggs was able to assess me and develop a plan of care that quickly and effectively managed my pain and has begun to correct my neck ,shoulder and back issues. I appreciated a plan of care that had a definitive direction and reasonable time frame. My pain was routinely reassessed and progressively got better and better. A maintenance plan will soon be in my future. Pike Therapy isn't your ordinary chiropractic office. There are so many therapies that are used to help patients recover from their pain. The doctors are kind and respectful, and the staff always tends to your needs in a timely manner. They are dedicated to finding a solution to your pain, even if that means they have to refer the patient to another doctor or recommend a different type of treatment. Everyone there genuinely cares about you and your health. I've been going to see them for three weeks now for chiropractic therapy and I've already feel improvement in my neck and my back.
