After the operator of the vehicle fled the scene the St. Louis County police were kind enough to track them down and procure their insurance information. Then mailbox headquarters met with us on a Sunday morning to plan the repair and reinstallation of the needed components Additionally, they provided a loaner box and post until the repairs could be made within a few days A few days later, all the parts were in, and the highly skilled technician was dispatched to reinstall and reattach all the damaged items. A true testament to the quality of the materials, and the workmanship provided was the post did not need to be replaced as it was still firmly installed in the ground and undamaged from being struck by an automobile.
