Jerry & his associate were great. They were a few mins late but that's fine b/c we had to do a last-minute move since our movers we originally hired never showed. They handled everything with care & moved the stuff quick. 1BDR apartment move was $250 for 4hrs (which at the time of this writing is the current starting rate). Would I use him again? Yes,if $ is a concern. Note they don't carry their insurance paperwork on them but Jerry states he is insured. Also, he prefers cash money over money order/cashier's check so be aware of that. Well this guys for sure know what is a social distance. They never showed up. Jerry promise me they will be at the place help my driver unload some household goods, but never showed up . I call and text hundreds of time but they never bother to answer. Very poor service read more

This was the most stress free & easy process moving with these guys! Jerry and one other gentleman showed up @ 8 am and were done unloading my suv and my boyfriends car that was jammed pack full of our belongings by 820. They showed up 1.5 hours late. Towards the end of the move the crew was dragging their feet and taking a long time. I understand that moving isn't easy work but I'm also paying by the hour... When everything was done and it was time to pay, they asked me how much I was quoted. I recalled what I was told over the phone and I had the cash ready plus tip but one of the crew members said "hmmm that doesn't sound like enough but okay"(????). And after the fact, quite a few of my items were dinged up. I also understand that moving can cause wear and tear but I feel like there could have been more caution. While I'm always down to support a small business, there was a lot left to be desired. read more

I called this company because of the reviews on Yelp. There were several positives: 1. They showed up (45 min. late), 2, They were expeditious in the whole process. 3. The price was right ($250 / 4 hrs). There were several negatives: 1. Numerous items were scratched including several pieces of furniture that I had refinished. 2. When one mover carried an item, it hit the door frame of the new residence and knocked the paint off and made a sizeable divot into the woodwork. 3. They had trouble getting the washer & dryer out of the old basement. They damaged the stairs of the old residence. The washer ended up with scratches on it. In the end I was grateful to have the process over with. But would I recommend this company? It depends. If you have furniture that you treasure - beware. I had even cautioned them about being careful with these items, as well as the new paint job in the new residence. I think the scratch damage occurred in the positioning of items in the truck. Jerry shrugged his shoulders when I showed him the scratches on one item. It wasn't until later that I saw that there were many scratches on many items. Too late to do anything about. read more

I reserved a mere hour's worth of time and two movers to help fill a U-Haul Upack box and move other things within the house for a quoted rate of $150. Jerry showed up with a young man and I showed him what needed to be moved. Most everything was boxed and in the front room of the house. I had a moving dolly for them to use plus rope to tie things down in the Upack box. Halfway through the box, I asked Jerry to please use the rope to tie things down. He said he knew how to do his job and then slowed the work perceptively. Despite that, within 40 minutes it was all packed in. I then asked them to move some things from within the house and a large vertical file from the basement to the garage. Jerry said the file cabinet could not be moved (how, then, did it get INTO the basement in the first place?) but I insisted. It got done but with a lot of unprofessional complaining and me feeling VERY uncomfortable with the situation of the owner being angry with me. I have moved almost 2 dozen times in my life, 3 times overseas, and this was one of the worst. But it all got done in exactly the 60 minutes I requested and they DID show up. I tipped them. I understand that moving is hard work. read more

Jerry and his crew of 2 men arrived to empty 4 personal storage containers for me on the day I was moving into my new house. These guys are hard working, efficient and considerate. They emptied all four of those containers in just under two hours. Work included carrying lots of boxes into the basement and also carrying a washer and dryer down there. They never scuffed any of the walls, which were all freshly painted, and they never dropped a box or had any other kind of problems. They were careful in their handling of all of my furniture. Jerry and his crews are awesome! They are very professional and worked really hard! EFFICIENT! AFFORDABLE! PROFESSIONAL! Their service was a lifesaver! You can call them even if it is a last-minute move. I originally scheduled A** M* S** moving service but they stood me up in the late afternoon on my moving day. I then called many movers but they don't take the emergency like that. Fortunately, we found Jerry last minute! Thanks to Jerry and his crews showed up in an hour and helped us moving. They were quick and they didn't take a break until all stuff was moved out. They also used their blankets and tape to cover our fragile items carefully, making sure our stuff would be alright when moving in/out. The entire services lasted for only about 2.5h -- moving out from a 2-bedroom apt to a house with a 15-mile drive (we are on the way at around 6 pm, so you know the traffic at that time in highway). I love this moving company! We booked them and then had to move our booking up with very little notice. They were flexible and able to work with us to book the best day for us. My roommate and I were moving to two different locations and they got us all packed into one truck and then off to both our new homes. The three man team lead by owner Jerry was friendly, receptive, and efficient. We had a lot of big/heavy items and they treated our possessions very respectfully, wrapped up our glass-front cabinets, not a single item missed or broken. I've had bad experiences with movers before who showed up late, were really expensive, or slow moving everything. This, however, was a completely positive experience. We got everything moved within our 4-hour window and were charged exactly what we were quoted. And Jerry and his team couldn't have been more polite or kind. I have moved more times than I would wish on anyone and these guys were great. They showed up a few minutes early and loaded very quickly. My items were taken care of and they unloaded quickly on the back end. It only took them about 2.5 hours which is a great time considering the commute between the two places is almost half an hour. Not the most profession group of people I've done business with. I'm not sure why they were asking my wife to go in the truck to grab things out of the truck and help too. Isn't that what we paid you for? Also, when my wife asked which box spring the we're going to bring in, the guy said "which ever one is ready." He put the wrong box spring in the house of coarse. Jerry and his crew were awesome! They were running a little late the day of the move, but he called ahead of time and let me know and was in close contact throughout the day keeping me posted. The guys moved me out of a second floor city apartment, they even had to take the doors off the hinges to get my couch out! They did so without complaint and without damaging anything. I had them make an extra stop nearby that I hadn't told them about ahead of time and they didn't charge me extra. When we got to the storage unit I rented, it was almost too small, but they managed to pack my boxes and furniture Tetris style, so everything fit! When we got to the final stop of my new apartment, which was a second floor townhouse, they again didn't complain about all the steps. They were working really hard and this was their 4th move of the day, but they were quick and efficient and took care of my things. I highly recommend Jerry and his crew! read more

I contacted Jerry for a really small delivery job (picking up a small package and delivering it to a residential home) two days ago and even though he was in the middle of a big move, he accepted my call, was very responsive and professional from start to finish, was on time, and did not mind how small this job was.
