Frosting was fresh, fluffy and not too sweet. Cake had good flavor. It was light and fluffy so didnt feel like traditional Dominican cakes which are rich and denser. The filling was dulce de leche mixed with pineapple- a first for me as places usually have either dulce de leche alone and pineapple alone. It was a bit sweet as I usually do pineapple since I find dulce de leche in Dominican cake too sweet of a combination. -As of 03/2022, prices are: $4 for a slice $35 for 1/2 lb cake $60 for 1lb cake Overall good general cake (okay for a Dominican cake) at a decent price.

She was highly recommended from an acquaintence. The theme was "2 sweet" I had sent her 2 photos for inspiration for an idea of what I wanted. I felt like I was an easy customer. I picked up the cake and I remember her finger nails looked dirty but I just thought it was from the cakes. At my initial first look of the cake, I liked it. I left it out in the shade, it was an outside party. When I looked at the cake, my daughter's name looked like it was slapped on by a child and the top fondant swirl on top was uneven. No big deal... When I finally cut into the cake, it was very hard and seemed very dry right away. Not a typical moist cake. I honestly had no desire to even taste it and felt bad distributing it out. I had asked a few people how they liked it and they even said it was dry but the icing and everything else was good. I think they tried to be nice. I messaged SJ telling her I was not happy with it and even my guests felt the same. She was speechless and her feelings were hurt that I didn't like the cake. When she asked what she can do, I told her I wanted 50% off. Since most of it went in the garbage too. She eventually became very defensive and blamed me and saying something about the butter and how it didn't melt in the shade or how I should've left it out longer..? Which I never heard of and also saying she uses fresh ingredients and all her cakes are fresh and she puts in a lot of time into each of her cakes. I do believe her so I don't understand why I felt my cake was so hard and dry. Her husband even messaged me too. I even showed her screen shots of what my guests said and how they agreed that the cake was very dry. She didn't like that I sent her what my guests said. Eventually I got my $100, this was 2 years ago so I will never order from here again.

It so delicious and rich in flavor. The filling of graham and marshmallow is so good!! Ive also finally tried their ube coconut cake and it was so good as well! However, even though ube is a favorite flavor of mine, the smores definitely surpassed it this time lol oh, and they make great french macaroons and cake pops! Even coco bombs.
