Four years and MANY celebrations later, they have become my go-to for every special occasion. We've now used Hudson Cakery for my twins' first, second, and third birthdays, as well as my husband's 40th birthday -- and I genuinely cannot imagine using anyone else! My experience with Jennifer and her team has been nothing short of amazing every single time. Communication is seamless, Jennifer is incredibly responsive and thorough, and she is always so helpful when I have questions or need guidance bringing an idea to life. The cake designs are absolutely unmatched. I typically share reference photos and a general creative vision, and Jennifer & her team always nail every detail and exceed my expectations. Of course, the cakes are also delicious. They offer such a great variety of cake flavors, fillings, and icings, and everything we've ordered has been a hit with both kids and adults. It's rare to find a bakery that delivers on both the artistry AND the taste, but Hudson Cakery truly does both. We have picked up multiple cakes for birthday and anniversary events from this bakery. The smell of bread and sugar can be smelled walking towards the store. There is always a line of people here waiting to get their goodies. My chocoholic little one who loves to try out chocolate lava cake from different restaurants and bakeries, thinks that this place has the best one! Very moist and indulgent! I have not seen very many bakeries that make the "Brown Derby" cake. It is chocolatey, yet light and refreshing with the fruit.
