This apartment complex is the absolute worst I have ever seen. We have gone 2 summers without AC…read moreand the only thing this place has done has given us a box AC that can't even cool down a single room. The temperature has been 80+ for two summers. I then bought a kiddie pool to try and cool off-- to which they told me to take down. This complex is corrupt, and I wouldn't recommend it to my worst enemy. Not to mention it is now June and they have not set up the pool they claim to have. Staff is rude and not helpful. Sincerely- disgruntled resident

I lived in these apartments from 1999 2 bedroom to 3 bedroom in 2000. I resided there with my 3…read morechildren until 2011. It was very convenient for I was able to raise them and allow them to stay in the same school and get them stability. It used to be called autumn ridge. Every once in a Blue Moon yes they would have some issues with air conditioning or maybe water leakage but it was always taking care of in a timely manner and I never had any issues. I lived on the right hand side as you come in on the 1st apartment at the bottom facing the field and my back door or patio door facing the office. With 3 kids in a time a cooperation came in to do an inspection or to think about buying it over they always used my apartment because I kept it very clean with 3 children the carpets were immaculate because shoes came off and there was no stains or marks on the walls. I don't know what I would have done without living there but pretty much you need to stay to yourself and respect management. If you are kind to them and appreciate the work they do what they do what try to do then they will definitely comply with things that you need.

I recently traveled to Muncie to help my daughter move out of these apartments. I was appalled at…read morethe lack of upkeep to the building in which she lived (see photos). The foundation was cracked, which had caused 2 large wall cracks in her bedroom wall. These had obviously been previously spackled and painted over prior to her moving in and the spackling was coming off. The outside air conditioning unit was in dire need of cleaning and maintenance. The fire alarm outside my daughter's apartment was torn from the wall with the exposed wires hanging loose (glad she never needed to use it!) But the worst part of the experience was having to smell pot the entire time we were there. The moment I opened the door to the inner hallway, I was greeted with an overwhelming odor of pot. I hoped the smell would end when I entered my daughter's apartment but it didn't. My daughter's apartment smelled the same! She took me to her small bathroom where the smell was the strongest and where the smell seemed to enter her apartment. She had previously told me about this but I thought she was exaggerating. Her entire apartment smelled as if someone was smoking pot in each room. By the time I left the following day (thank God I got a reprieve at night in a local hotel) my clothing reeked of pot and my asthma was in full bloom! My daughter had reported this problem to management and nothing had ever been done. The saddest part was that the smell was coming from the apartment across the hall from my daughter's apartment where a very young infant was being exposed to the smell! I am not a prude by any means, but I feel that the rights of all should be considered in apartment living. I could not recommend these apartments to anyone looking for a clean, well-maintained and friendly place to live. Look elsewhere!

My husband and I lived here for 2 years and were completely taken advantage of by the management…read morewhen we left. They made multiple petty charges which included charging us $10 for leaving a few strands of hair in a drawer, etc. They also charged us $100 for blinds that were broken prior to us moving in that they didn't account for on the initial inspection (we weren't allowed at the initial inspection because we moved in during covid). They charged us almost $300 for "staining the carpet" - granted the "stains" they were referring to were under the carpet, not even on the top of the carpet. They said that it was a urine stain from our dog and that they ripped up the carpet because the apartment "reeked of urine" which was not true because we had multiple people in our apartment while we were moving out just a few days before that can attest that it didn't smell of urine. Also, our dog was completely potty trained, was crated when we were gone, and was constantly monitored when she was out, so there was no way for her to have had an accident that we did not see or know about, and our dog had no potty accidents while we lived there. It's also good to note that the carpet had just met it's 7 year guaranteed lifespan, coincidence much? In total they charged us $500 at move out. I have also read other reviews where the same thing had happened so it seems to be a trend with the management. My friend, who is a property manager for Indianapolis apartments, was appalled at the accusations the managers where making and the things they were charging us for. Aside from this the amenities included in the rent (gym, pool, laundry, etc) are severely outdated and most of the time broken to where they cannot be used. The pool was closed half the time during the summer without any reasoning or warning from management or maintenance. The management for this establishment are the definition of "slum lords" and you will be able to find a much better apartment with better amenities and management 2 minutes down the road. Do not rent here!
