I asked why he didn't call to clarify the address, and he said he didn't bring our number to the appointment. I still don't understand why he didn't call once he got back to his office. When he finally showed up, he did the inspection and said he'd send a report. We didn't receive the report , so after a week, I emailed to ask for it. He said to check my spam and he would resend it. I did check the spam and it wasn't there; I don't believe he sent it. Also, the report he finally sent has a typo. I don't know about his work quality based on the other aspects of his business: communication and professional conduct.

Paul shared with us that he came to this conclusion after receiving the independent laboratory results from Sporecyte indicating high elevations of mold. His reasoning? He didn't trust the lab results. After opening up our ceiling, we found our 3-month-old insulation was covered in mold and has since spread throughout the home. All Paul could say was that he was "sorry." Paul blatantly refuted independent lab results, and instead asserted that his opinion based on a hunch was superior. His opinion placed our family's health in jeopardy. He then proceeded to incorrectly use a moisture meter reader. He failed to switch the material setting on his moisture meter when he went from drywall to tile, thus, providing false readings. How do I know? I also have a moisture meter and reread all the areas Paul measured on the correct setting.

A DEMOLISHING COMPANY WITH A HEART!…read more I can't say enough good things about Affordable Environmental, the owner Tony Chase, and his work crew. I've been trying off and on to leave a review and finally figured it out. In Spring 2023, Tony was hired to demolish a condemned 1930's farm house on my property that needed to come down. Everything was done on time, responsibly, and by the book, with asbestos abatement included. All for a very competitive price. And then the big twist happened, which really confirmed Tony's stellar reputation: After being told by the asbestos workers that there may be an old log cabin underneath the farm house, Tony took his time and "skinned" the side off, rather than just demolishing everything. He was able to do so because he is very skilled with a track hoe; it was like watching an artist at work! And sure enough, underneath was a solid log cabin structure that our local historical society estimates to be an old logging cabin from circa 1870's. Intact cabins like this are very hard to find and a historic preservationist is currently conducting research to confirm the age and ownership. But Affordable Environmental, aka Tony Chase, didn't stop there. Tony felt very strongly about keeping this historic find safe during the winter so it wouldn't deteriorate. He volunteered the materials and staff time to construct a roof structure, wrap the building in plastic, and install one of his own large dehumidifiers to keep it dry inside. And it's working! Research on this historic logging cabin can continue and perhaps grants can be found to preserve the structure for the long term. Thank you Tony Chase and the AE crew!

First, I call but it sounded like they didn't want to hear the specifics over the phone, so I was directed to their email site. I wrote the email explaining that it was a rental and I had to contact the tenants and setup a date and time to establish testing. They responded with 10am to noon Friday. I called by phone and spoke to a representative and they said they would make sure that it would be know that I accepted the time and that they would call me to let me know when they were coming on Friday about 30 minutes before. I when to the rental @ 10am and left a text message on their business phone that I was at the rental waiting for them-I called again at 11:30 am asking why they haven't come yet and I spoke to David, he informed me that I may not be on file. Then I was called by Cooper that I spoke too originally by phone, then email. He informed me that since I didn't answer his email with the acceptance of the Friday 10am and noon, that it was my mistake. There was no sincere apology or the acceptance that his business email, telephone or employee communications were lacking and not professional. Cooper who I have not met is basically a child running a business, he doesn't know how to stop the damage and accept the fact that all customers are right when they have a solid complaint. Just to show his childness, he hung-up on me and would not call me back, when I apologized by phone (left message). I don't want to waste money on his business and probably find that maybe his services might be in question. My rental is a business that I want to make sure that I protect my tenants. I don't really write many reviews, but customers beware of Cooper's childness.

Three items--a partial curtain rod, crib hardware, and a stepping ladder--went missing after the period their crew had exclusive access to my home. A value of $373.96 from a $41,019.80 bill. I have timestamped photos showing these items being present before work began and during, and missing after their crew finished. Despite providing this evidence and a detailed timeline, the company repeatedly denied responsibility, suggesting the items may have been moved before their arrival, even though we had not lived in the home and no other work had occurred during that time. It makes no sense for us to lose these 3 random items as they claimed when there were much more valuable items in the impacted room. The company promised comprehensive documentation of all items handled for insurance purposes, but what I received was incomplete and inconsistent. Some photos were sent to my husband, and there was no clear record of items removed from certain rooms and where they placed each item in the kitchen. When issues were raised, the company provided shifting explanations and ultimately refused to reimburse the $373.96 replacement cost for the missing items. Additionally, I had to correct a previous billing error where I was charged for all quoted hours that were not worked. This, combined with the poor communication and lack of accountability, left me with no confidence in their professionalism or customer service. I am sharing this experience so other homeowners are aware of the risks and documentation issues. If you expect clear records and accountability, I recommend considering another company.

I wrote to the company to request that the quote be e-mailed to us, but we never received the quote.
