The owner of this Bakery ( I am assuming he was the owner) he was a sweet and very friendly man. He greeted us as soon as we walked in and asked how we were. My husband and him had a good little conversation while I grabbed the breads. We went pretty late so the options were limited but still plentiful to choose from. The choncha/ muffin bread my husband really liked, it was soft and delicious. The red one with the coconut ("Besos" I believe they're called) that was my favorite it was soft and sweet. I didn't try the gator looking one (Mexican Bigote) but it looked hard and felt a little harder than I'm used to! They also had some good little Mexican treats ** cash only, thanks to another review I read that stated that so I took my cash.

Fresh baked goods and delicious! They are cash only so make sure you got some of those physical dollars! Worth it

Great little shop. Cash only. Breads are off the hook and sadly I will return many times. Good stuff!!! Just like my mother in law makes!!!!

It's nice that the pastry is not sicky sweet like so many other places. Plus, where else are you going to buy a tortilla press?

Cute cafe in downtown Corvallis with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. Lots of character to the…read moreoverall vibe. Staff are friendly and efficient. The coffee is always solid. I always enjoy my latte here. I've also tried out their sweet and creamy cold brew (a little too sweet but as a treat it was great!) and their cortado which are both solid. My go to dish is usually the acai bowl. Plenty of textures, flavors, and a good amount of sour and sweet that makes it's perfectly balanced. The only downside is that the spoons that are provided are a little big for the bowl that you are given, so you are bound to spill a little bit. The Mexican bowl is okay, but not quite my personal preference since there is more of a curry taste to it. Overall come and give Bodhi a try!

Though busy on a Wednesday afternoon (it was the day before Thanksgiving after all), we found a table and had a great meal. I loved my latte and biscuits and gravy! Everything was tastefully presented and had wonderful flavors. The portion sizes aren't too big, so don't expect a huge meal. I found the biscuits and gravy to be filling for a brunch, but someone with a bigger appetite might want to opt for something more substantial. The staff did a great job getting many orders out in a fairly short amount of time, and based on my meal, they weren't sacrificing quality in the process. The cafe norms are pretty standard for a seat-yourself cafe where you order at the counter, pick up your food at the counter, and bus your own table. I found Bodhi Cafe and Bakery to be exactly what I needed, and look forward to returning.

All of our family was arriving before the bad weather hit, so we decided to have the celebration Friday at our home instead of Sunday at the reserved location. It was a scramble to have everything in place on Friday instead of Sunday, but the best part was the beautiful cake I had ordered from Tami of Sassy Cakes. Over and beyond the call of duty, she made it possible to have the cake delivered on Friday as well! I know it was a great effort on her part, but I was thrilled she could make it happen. Tami is a delight to work with, and her cakes are most exceptional! She is a true artist and the birthday cake was scrumptious and expertly custom made. I am spreading the word of how pleased we were, and I know you will be pleased, too!

There are two bathrooms and cute windows but you'd never guess what deliciousness awaits. From a blue clues cake, to wedding cakes/cupcakes, bridal showers, or any theme you could imagine she makes it all happen. Her talent is a steal for the pricing and definitely creates a memory. She can do a variety of flavors from chocolate with raspberry filling - which was my favorite, a creamsicle, or Andy's mint, to a variety of others I didn't get the chance to try. They were sweet but not overwhelming and dare I say.... moist. For your next special event or when you're craving a sweet keep it local with Sassy Cakes!
