Morning coffee today at this truck stop. It was easy to access in my Sprinter van and they have a huge selection of high carb snacks and a gift shop with South Dakota merchandise. I made a quick stop here to top off the tank before we continued on to Rapid City where the prices were noticeably higher. I identified this station using the GasBuddy App. I wanted to top off the tank at a good price because prices at our destination were higher and I wanted to have enough gas to be able make it back to our return trip hotel and cheaper gas prices. Pilot is a brand that is consistently lower priced, clean, and dependable compared to many other gas stations in the area. Also, if you have the Pilot loyalty card, you will save three cents per gallon. Hey every little bit helps! It was conveniently located just off the Interstate Highway. reserved a shower in app waited 2 hours and went in to check if app was working. employee says washer dryer down and can't wash towels so no shower I asked to use my own towels he refused to allow me a shower. overheard same guy say that he wasn't cleaning any showers tonight..... lazy employees pilot should fire. We always stop here on the way out on the way back from the Black hills. It's been a family tradition ever since I was little kid. They have an interesting mix of food and snacks things for Long haul truckers bathrooms showers lottery machines and video games. It's kind of one of those places you can stop and spend way more time than you think just because of all the things to look at and do. We are using a nice place to gas up get some snacks play a minute or two on the video lottery machines and hit the road back on our adventures. read more

I am giving this pilot 5 stars because during storm,interstate shut down they were always open,clean,stocked and nice.I would have lost my mind especially when it was only place with power.The shower was clean,didn't have to use my bleach I carry.Water was luke warm but hey in those conditions it's to be expected.The subway was packed everytime I went in for restroom we were stuck day and half.The emoyees working seemed friendly despite the mile long lines. read more

I used to stop often at this gas station if traveling on I-90 and even if I don't need to fuel up, because it is well-stocked and clean. The parking lot is a bit of a quagmire, especially during tourist season, but it usually has what I need when I'm traveling, no matter what time of day. Today was the last time I will stop at this place until this pandemic is over. The parking lot was gridlocked with RVs blocking in vehicles and blocking exits. On the entry doors there were signs posted saying face coverings were required. Inside it was crowded, and but for one customer in line at Subway and one other person, nobody was wearing a mask. No social distancing was happening. No enforcement of the posted store policy, just a steady stream of tourists bringing COVID-19 to my state. No thank you. read more

It's my go to place for gas and coffee when I'm traveling the coffee is always fresh and the gas is competitive. This station has a subway which is a nice touch plus it has slot machines. When I stopped here, the place was clean and seemed fine. But we were hungry and bought two hot dogs, two nachos, and two cold sandwiches. The nachos were OK, one cold sandwich had a hair in it, and a hot dog tasted so rancid that after a single bite I promptly threw up. read more

My family and I tried to get fuel here a couple of days ago. The pumps I tried first dint work. We moved to another pump, after 20 minutes they finally told me that one wouldn't work either. Giving three stars because for once the RV and car pumps were parallel to the road!!!!! Yahoo. We have dually pulling 40' 5th wheel. How do you expect us to fuel and then make a 90 degree turn at the store in most truck stops? We can't. Need larger restroom at least women's. Needs cleaning more often. Lot small for parking after fueling. Need pull thru parking. Backing up to leave was nasty. Only three stars because while RV pumps in good direction, WE COULDN'T TELL FROM FAR ENOUGH AWAY WHERE THE DIESEL PUMP WAS! So had to go round back to truck pumps. read more

My first time ever at a pilot and complete chaos. It took us over 15 minutes just to get to a pump because people park at the pump and go inside and do their shopping, plus they can't follow the directional signs. What an absolute mess! And...I properly swiped my Good Sam card for the $.03 discount and guess what?...no discount when the receipt printed. I went inside for the 3rd time and talked to the manager who said, "It usually doesn't work at the pump." My receipt showed the card being swiped, just no discount. Sounds like a class action suit waiting to happen. My first immpression of Pilot is certainly not fast...you know, part of their slogan. read more

My first time to rate a business outside of the restaurant side of things. I am a huge coffee fan and must have it. My wife and I stopped here on our way through the area. This is a clean truck stop and the bathroom was very clean and tidy. The coffee selection was a coffee drinkers paradise! They have nine different kinds of coffee roasts. They have several flavors of cappuccino. They have many different flavored creamers and even individual coffee shots that are so high in caffeine that it says do not take more than two a day. And you can mix it all up if you want. So I had a large cup with half dark roast, then a shot of extra caffeine and then the other half French Vanilla cappuccino. Mmmmm is all I can say. Definitely worth the stop if you are traveling through and want a wide variety of coffee! read more
