I accidentally put some souvenirs from my trip in the garbage can by the gas pumps as we unloaded our vehicle before it was towed away. i called the next morning and the staff went out to the pumps and checked the trash can and found my bag. That was not the case at Love's! We were greeted as soon as we walked in the door and when it was time to check out, the cashier asked us where we're from and where we're going. He thanked us profusely for choosing Love's and reminded us to stop in again. You really don't find friendly people like that much anymore (especially those who deal with people ALL.DAY.LONG!) So, kudos to Love's for having friendly people who care about their customers :) The selection of products was what you'd expect from a large truck stop center. Prices were reasonable. Fresh grab and go items were indeed fresh and even rotated by date (FIFO, baybee.) I'll definitely stop back in next time I find myself driving through PA.

And I know what many of you are thinking - Saturday nights are for bathing - what am I doing in a shower on a Wednesday? Okay, so it was a bit chilly out in the parking lot last night (in early February) and I simply wanted to work that chill out of teeth to keep them from chattering. Plus, as you will see below, the price wasn't all that bad. The shower room is adequate for one person, clean and well maintained. About the only thing they don't provide is someone to scrub your back. But after years of being fabulous and patting myself on the back, I was able to take care of that task without any assistance. So want about that 'hot and steamy' reference I made? No, I wasn't able to coax some alluring blonde in there with me. Rather, I was referring to the water temperature coming from the 5-position shower head. I tried each position on the shower spout and found them to be most invigorating! But what's with that soft water?!?! I rinsed and rinsed, but it felt like the soap never went away. I know some newer truckers like that soft and silky feel, but I'm old school - I want firm and grippy. I don't want that bar of soap getting away so easily. I want to recommend mid-week showers to all my family and friends. If you think $14 is a bit steep, do like I do. Last night when I got here, I went to the trucker section of the restaurant. After sitting there a while, I almost thought I was in church. One of the drivers started passing the hat and when he got to me, he took the money and handed it to me. Be said they all wanted me to take a shower. What a nice bunch of guys! OK, so bottom line, this is a nice truck stop and well worth the stop.

The center itself is really super nice with a nice variety of things to do. Parkings abundant and they have EV charging stations here. The outside is attractive and well landscaped. Walking in, the place is clean as a whistle! They have really nice bathrooms with lots of stalls and sinks. They have a lovely starbucks here along with a Marco's Pizza and another place to eat as well. They have a cute dining area too! I didn't feel like waiting in the starbucks line so I looked for a vending machine and they had a few. No coffee though, just pop, water and a few other things like snacks. They also have a special trucker area just for them. Like most rest stops, commercial trucks and traffic park in a separate area. They also have a gas station on side for both cars and trucks. They have free wifi here, so if you need to sit for a few with your laptop and do stuff, you can. I assume it's in the dining area? I don't know where you'd charge your electronics though, as I didn't spend long enough to really check the place out. Overall, a great experience and I love stopping here!

They have limited parking, a small Subway inside and some trucker items in their store. Mostly independents utilize the overnight transient parking. Today's fuel price for diesel was cheaper than the others, so they have some redeeming qualities. Nothing fancy here.
