I love stopping at these Service Plaza's off the turnpike in Ohio. They really are super nice and allow you to get a few things done besides just going to the bathroom. The center itself is really super nice with a nice variety of things to do. Parkings abundant and they have EV charging stations here. The outside is attractive and well landscaped. Walking in, the place is clean as a whistle! They have really nice bathrooms with lots of stalls and sinks. They have a lovely starbucks here along with a Marco's Pizza and another place to eat as well. They have a cute dining area too! I didn't feel like waiting in the starbucks line so I looked for a vending machine and they had a few. No coffee though, just pop, water and a few other things like snacks. They also have a special trucker area just for them. Like most rest stops, commercial trucks and traffic park in a separate area. They also have a gas station on side for both cars and trucks. They have free wifi here, so if you need to sit for a few with your laptop and do stuff, you can. I assume it's in the dining area? I don't know where you'd charge your electronics though, as I didn't spend long enough to really check the place out. Overall, a great experience and I love stopping here! read more

Overall, a decent Interstate service area. Easy access to the building and pumps. The restrooms were pretty clean, as were the common areas as well. Being around 11 pm the franchise food choices were somewhat limited; but the usual variety of packaged items were available in the convenience section. All and all; if one needs fuel, pitstop and/or snacks this location is a solid option. read more

We like this plaza because it has RV facilities. For $20 you can plug your RV in (20/30/50 amp available) for 24 hours, and there is potable water and a dump station. Restrooms inside are clean, restaurants are okay. There is a gas station here but it's super pricey. You're better off getting off the thruway. read more

I came here while I was heading to Cleveland a couple of weeks ago while on business. I'm staring to realize that all the Ohio Oasis areas are exactly the same quite like how it is in Illinois on the the 294 tollway. Anyway it's a very convenient place, it's got a Gloria Jean's which is great because I never knew there was a Gloria Jean's out here. It's got a good variety of food. Features plenty of parking and has pumps. Main issue is that it's pretty pricey. read more

Clean bathrooms! But Jacked Up ApplePay After traveling east coast to mid west twice a year for 10 years with family, you can end up seeing some pretty scary bathrooms. This is not one of those places. And like any restaurant, the cleanliness of the bathroom is a fairly good indicator of the cleanliness of the kitchen. +5 Unfortunately while the right hardware is everywhere, inside at the shops and at the pumps, the system fails to complete Apple Pay transactions and you have to use the stupid-slow chip-based readers. -2 Always like topping in Ohio turnpike service plazas. The state does a good job, making the turnpike fee a better value. Get the Apple Pay fixed and go from OK to awesome. read more

All manner of diverse travelers are in the midst of getting where they need to go. The amenities are serviceable, though if you're looking for healthy meal options, keep on driving. I appreciate the consistency of the Ohio Turnpike travel plazas, and my comments will generally be the same. I still look forward to them having hot air hand dryers in the rest rooms. This one's primary food option is a Hardee's, with what I guess is some burrito franchise they have if you want something more Mexican than burger/sandwich. It was pretty steady there at lunch time with about a 5 minute wait in line. The convenience/travel mart in this plaza is quite nice too. read more

This is the first service plaza eastbound on the Ohio Turnpike if you're coming north from Michigan via I-75 S and 280 S. Turnpike rest stops are generally nicer than the typical rest stop because of the toll. That being said, one of the setbacks is that you're stuck with the food and fuel options which are pricier than average. Whoever runs the plazas know that you're stuck with the service plazas as your only option to eat and refuel so they will fleece you. Otherwise, you'll have to take an exit and pay the corresponding toll to get into a local area and then pick up another ticket to rejoin the Turnpike. So once you're on the turnpike, you're stuck with the options and prices available at each service plaza. The restaurants and gas companies do vary at each one in either direction so you'll have variety should you choose to keep on the road and next your next stop. Overall, I think other ones more eastbound have more options with regards to food but if you're hungry or low on fuel, you got to take what you can get. I'm reviewing the Hardee's since it doesn't have its own page. Pretty standard fast food and as I said above, expect it to be a little pricier. My dad ordered a medium coffee and a small round of hashrounds. I ordered a Hardee's Breakfast Platter with Sausage (Patty). You have options to order this with Bacon too. The platter includes the patty, an egg, hashrounds, a biscuit, and sausage gravy. I don't eat this kind of food often but it was tasty. A little rich in the morning and in the car but a filling meal that's not too messy. read more

Eh, it's a standard rest stop complete with tidy, many-stalled bathrooms and expensive junk food that we hit to and from Chi-Town. The exterior resembles either a mega-church or a suburban high school with ample parking to boot. read more

Zack and Byron are the best barista comedy duo this side of the ole Mississippi! If the bold aroma of Gloria Jeans coffee doesn't pull you in, then maybe their soulful rendition of Culture Club's "Do you really want to hurt me?" will lure you. If you're lucky, they may even don their Boy George costumes. Really though, it was nice to stop and grab a latte after a long day at work and the first road trip with our 3 month old. If you have to go to Cleveland, might as well be entertained on the way! read more
