Very good otherwise, but I wanted heat! Also tried the arrachera which was again, good, but not great for Mexico. I get it. It's a hotel restaurant which probably caters to American and Canadian tastes, but I guess there should be an option for those that like spicy food :) So many tourist spots have a killer super spicy salsa to make up for this, but sadly we didn't find it here. Getting there was also a little challenge. We had no problem with our cab driver that we made friends with, but it might be a challenge or actually a reason to charge more for the carefree tourist. There is actually quite a bit of unpaved bumpy dirt road to get there A good reminder to ask about the fare before you take the ride. I was shocked how little our guy charged us but he did say he would charge more if we were a normal tourist fare. Worth the trip for the views and service for sure. I would say the price was OK for the area (around 55-60 pesos per taco or 100-110 for two tacos) considering the quality of the ingredients and the size of the tacos ... We waited a bit longer than we expected for tacos when it wasn't crowded but we enjoyed the music and clean environment while waiting... One complaint I had was they gave me the wrong tacos ... they also charged me for the wrong tacos too ... they charged me for the tacos with spicy sauce which was a few pesos more but when we brought this up to them they apologized and changed the price no questions asked... I still wish I would have got the tacos I ordered however because although I liked the spicy sauce I felt like it completely overpowered the taco and I really wished I could have tasted the natural flavors in the shrimp and toppings like the avocado since I like the delicate balance Also, I loved the pineapple salsa so much but they only give you the smallest amount of it and I would have loved to have more of the pineapple salsa
