The service from them was amazing. Jacob was on time and he called to let me know when he was 10 minutes from arriving. I recently moved my daughter into her first home, and she just had a garage door emergency. She accidentally closed the door on the back of her hatchback smashing the car's back window and bending the door's lower strut. I cannot recommend this company enough! When one of my remote control quit working, I called overhead door first and their quote was over $5000. I asked the neighbor who they used and they strongly recommended Pinckard. Chad, the technician inspected my doors, replaced 2 remotes, serviced the doors and said there should be no more problems. The total bill was $200. We all work very hard for our money and I am furious that overhead doors is so dishonest. My garage door lift spring snapped, so we called Pinckard Garage Doors at 5489 Woodbine in Pace. Chad arrived within 20 minutes with the parts and completed the job in less than a half hour. Once the new spring was installed, he lubricated the spring and track and moving parts. Very pleasant and well experienced, having done this for many years. Given the cost of parts which Pinckard doesn't have control of, the cost of the repair, and parts was very reasonable. read more

I highly recommend this company for any garage door repairs or issues you may have. My garage door was making a lot of noise and struggled to open at times. The gentleman from Pinckard did the necessary repairs and added a keyless remote pad. He also showed me how and what areas to lubricant; so I can maintain the garage door. Last year I had called a national garage door company, which I won't mention, to take care of the same issues. They basically told me my opener was not adequate for my door (my home was only three years old at the time), I needed new springs and a bunch of other stuff. I think I stopped listening after the $1300+ estimate was given. I just told them to lubricant the wheels and springs and I would have to think about the other stuff for a later time. What they changed me for that service call was double what I paid today to Pinckard which did not include the keyless remote. We had them come out and check out our door which was having closing issues and quite loud. The technicians were extremely helpful and said the sensors were out of alignment. Got a new garage door and all new hardware along with an outside keyless entry pad. The installer called before coming and was on time like he said he would do. Very Professional work and cleaned up everything when done. The truck he was in developed a leak and leaked oil on my driveway and the supervisor came and cleaned it up and even left me some cleaner to make sure all of it was cleaned up and knocked off $50.00 on the install. Highly recommend this company, they do what they say and show up on time and don't leave a mess. If I ever need them again, I would not hesitate to call them. read more

Don't waste your time with this company. I called them the day after my garage door broke and wasn't working at all. Was told someone would call me back. Two days later when I did not get a call, I called again. Was told the same thing. Never got that call. THREE WEEKS LATER, after I had called another company who called me back the SAME day and came and fixed it the next day, this company had the nerve to call me. Went to pick it up today and am told that they made an error and didn't really have the opener they donated "we haven't carried that in years" yet they have the same brochure in their office right now! Big bait and switch to a much cheaper opener. Talked to the owner and got nothing but back talk. You could tell he felt like he was being cheated! Why make a donation if you are not happy to do it.
