The owner is a Dekalb county school teacher who is very passionate about her pupils. She really cares about her students learning and understanding especially in math. She offers assistance in home schooling, test prep, math tutoring and enrichment after school program. My kids have been attending for about a month now and they're very excited about going to the learning center and school period. They also attend a field trip every Friday. Ms. Lalana makes learning fun. She also has over 500 YouTube videos of various math lessons she taught in class. Ages Kindergarten through 12th grade. If your kids need a little help or maybe a lot of help this is where he/she needs to be.

Located right in the middle of downtown Tucker, this business is surrounded by activity and unorthodox educational opportunities. The children here go on field trips every week and they have a theme that they follow weekly too. They look forward to learning something new each week and incorporating all aspects of their learning that week to the theme. It's amazing to see children so excited about school and learning. My son enjoys going to school here and looks forward to what he will learn each week. I have never seen him so excited about school. That is the best part for me. I want my children to be excited about education and learning and finding new ways to work learning new things into their daily lives. The Math Depot has helped me do just that. The people who run this school are awesome. Director Michelle is competent, positive, and flexible - that's a powerful triad. She somehow knows every kid's name and personality. The music teacher Mr. Gus is a talented performer with the patience of Job, and goes far beyond the usual itsy-bitsy-baby songs in his classes. The class teachers are dedicated and effective (a ton of them are former PATH parents). We've taken to calling the 1-yr-old class teachers "the Dream Team" because they're so good with the toddlers. You really get the impression that the people working there are doing so because they just like being there. Honestly, even the parents are a little different than other morning programs we've been to - it's more laidback and friendly, and there is more a sense of community. The whole vibe of the place has none of the competitive Image-Crafting Perfect-Hair Mom-Shaming I figured came standard at all morning programs. PATH has random family nights throughout the year just for families to come and hang out (instead of the usual semiannual high-pressure fundraiser). The only bad parts - their playground areas aren't as nice as those of some other morning programs, although they are good enough and they're slated for improvements. It's a smaller school, so there are fewer dedicated "specials" teachers. However they still fill a slate of Science, Spanish, and Music specials with lots of art and outside time.

The community is open-hearted and the education and social setting has allowed our daughter to transform her anxiety into confidence and joy. Simply put, she LOVES school and begs me to let her stay as long as possible in aftercare. The way the administration has reinvented in-person learning during the pandemic is nothing short of inspirational. The outdoor classrooms are located on 6-acre, wooded campus that is buzzing with excitement, music and laughter. As an adult what I've discovered in my career (and life) is that I'm happiest during moments of being creative. This being said, the most significant thing I've witnessed in our daughter's journey at Waldorf is a blossoming of her inherent creativity which translates into more moments of happiness. As a mother I couldn't want anything more for my child. He also came home with dried up blood on the back of his head from injuring himself at school. The teachers did not report this to his parents nor did they send him to get looked at. The principle isn't even making it her duty to speak to the parents in a timely manner, to get the issues straightened out and handled. His parents will be reporting to the Board of Education about this. Do not send your kids here.

Arbor is authentic Montessori and it shows in the children. Our boys minds are so alive and curious and their sense of place in the world has expanded greatly.
