I am a Eucharistic Minister and my husband is a member of Knights of Columbus. We both volunteer with St. Vincent de Paul. We continue to be amazed at the attendance at every Mass and how many people volunteeer and donate whenever a need is presented. The chuch has organizations for the youth, singles, young adults, parents and seniors. There are bible studies and support groups available. They try to offer events during the day and the evening in order to accomodate the most people. St. Brigid supports an orphanage in Nicaragua for children with special needs. It is definitely the most active parish I have seen. The people are welcoming and friendly.

They claim to be a christan organisation...their ethics are def not such!!!!! I wanted to give my kids some sort of religious education in their early years.. i now feel i could have just put them in a good Goddard, Montessori or Primrose. I wouldnt recommend St Brigid or Holy Redeemer to anyone who is normal middle class or person of color. HORRIBLE!! Obviously, we will no longer be associating with this organisation.

We reached out right away, explained everything and asked if they could make an exception. They absolutely could have if they wanted to, but instead chose to charge us close to $2,000 and kept pointing us back to the contract and legal language. I even appealed directly to both the outgoing and incoming heads of the school, hoping there would be some understanding given the circumstances and how quickly we notified them. Unfortunately, there was none. The saving grace for us was my son's teachers, Mr. Rao and Mrs. Joshi. They were wonderful and we genuinely appreciated them. Beyond that, I was never particularly impressed with the administration or the overall experience. For a school that positions itself as a premier institution and has so many positive accolades, our experience was very different. To us, it felt like a pretty average/subpar school packaged and marketed as something much more. If you are considering AIA, just make sure you read every line of what you sign. Don't assume there will be any flexibility or understanding even when circumstances change within a matter of days.

When the boys wake up on the weekends and become disappointed that they are not going to school, it provides us with such peace of mind knowing that they love their teachers, friends and the overall learning experience that Cadence provides. They have very high standards for the daycare and always communicate with the parents. I email them and will always receive a response within 24-48 hours, most of the time the day of. As parents, we really appreciate the communication and transparency. The teachers are the best of the best. Most of them have been there decades and they truly love the kids. We love Ms. Monica and Ms. Maria, they treat the kids like their own. It really feels like a family. I cannot rave about them enough. They also send daily updates on the activities, what they ate, and pictures throughout the day. Our child's class was also moved for two weeks into a younger classroom that felt overcrowded for that age mix. For a toddler who needs routine, that level of churn was disruptive. When the second lead resigned abruptly, we chose to withdraw. The school enforced a 45-school-day withdrawal clause, effectively billing families for two school months after notice. Hard to reconcile was the asymmetry: families must guarantee 45-school-days of tuition, yet leadership at times appeared to give staff as little as one week's notice of termination; in other cases, staff were listed as "on vacation" and didn't return. Whether that reflects limited loyalty from management toward staff or low staff loyalty to the workplace, it ultimately points to a management-level failure to foster a supportive environment that keeps staff committed--while families are asked to shoulder the cost of the resulting staffing and retention issues via the 45-school-day policy. If you visit the school, ask detailed questions about current turnover, staffing ratios, contingency plans, and how the 45-school-day policy is applied when staffing changes disrupt a classroom.

The foundation like to focus especially in underserved neighborhoods by providing free laundry days for the parents and have some volunteers read to the kids while the parents are doing their clothes. Its a win win! We came by a while back to collect the books and were so impressed by the amount of books donated. Not only that the quality of the books were unbelievable. There weren't cheapy books that you get at the dollar store. No there were high quality books for children from infants to about 8-10 years old. Wow, really touched by that.
