A-hole supreme) 1st time mowing lawn at apt complx guyy out front on riding mower went arouind same area over 7 times. it snowed most days this past winter, saw them come clear snow maybe 5 times... AFTER someone already did it most timess. po box lock was broken. iformed many times. finally I told 'em I was going to hirer company to installl a gold diamond studded lock and have them pay fopr installation.... next day lock is fixed. . iillegally evicted me, and when I tried to get my stuff out call office.... no one answers phone... weeks later buddy of mine tells me he saw guys walking out of building with my stuff then I get harrassing emails from themand other tenants saying my room is roach infested...to exterminate roaches the whole building needs too be 'sprayed' but nope its all my fault, this building has always had infestations. you cant spray one room and expect nothing / opther rooms to be infested... or inbetween walls. Noyt my fault they let my aprtment sit for week wiyth heaT on and open containers of food in cupboards that probably spoiled as well... when I had a cat didnt notice bugs as much, when kitty died yeah see bugs but I tried to keep one step a head ( Previous owner Brogno didnt do anything about infestations) they took me to tribunal claimed I didnt pay rent, yet I had a few sources showing Rent was paid. guy I stay with after eviction is also a northstar managed unit and tyhey found out I am here, now they threaten renter her of eviction cuz I am here... I had to ask his father to take him for the time being, who is not been here in months. They have not made any effort to fix the probelm. My bathroom is leaking from the ceiling witch has caused it to cave in (hole in the ruff). Every time 2nd floor has a shower it leaks into my bathroom. Not to mention I also had a leak in my kitchen. The kitchen sink was leaking so bad that they had to tear out the wall behind it. When they tore the wall out there was black mold. I really hope that i can get this fixed or be moved to another floor because i miss my apartment and having my son.

What I found…read moreout when I finally moved in was the presence of second hand smoke in our apartment and hallways. The so called manager, Rhonda, is a heavy smoker so she is is unsympathetic and unresponsive with any meaningful solution. She offered to move us to another apartment at our own cost with no expectation we would get any relief from the situation. Her other solution was to seal off the bathroom vents. Lots of extra moisture in our apartment, no thanks. The garage we rented was disgusting, full of dirt and old furniture. They obviously had not looked at it before leasing it to us as they claimed it was the previous tenants responsibility to clean the parking area. I had to insist they clean the space, remove the old furniture, and stop someone from parking their bike in our space. Soon after moving in I noticed my garage door had sizable gap between the floor when it was closed. This was different than most of the other garage doors in my section. When I mentioned this to the maintenance supervisor he told me they were all set that way. When I said that was not the case he did everything but call me a lair. The public areas of the garages are filthy and unkept. West Pier Place must believe it is the tenants responsibility to keep these areas clean as the maintenance staff is to busy insulting their tenants. Overall West Pier Place is a shabby, smelly, and poorly managed property unfit for families and those concerned with their health.
