Such a fun place to browse. You never know what you might find to add to your collection. It's in the middle of nowhere and makes a perfect stopping place to get out and browse. I never drive past when they are open because I know I can find a treasure within the walls! read more

Great treasures hidden in this emporium. If you're looking for something chances are you can find it here. You could spend hours and still miss something. The owners are extremely friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. We found this place while out on an autumn mountain drive. Definitely worth the visit. This is a hoarders, paradise, like in a good way. There is a ton of stuff here. It is not very well organized. It is also not a good place for kids, as the isles are very narrow, and there is a lot of fragile stuff. It is also not a good place for anybody who is obese, because it's very hard to navigate, the narrow spaces because there is so much stuff. Highly recommend, though. Staff is very friendly. I kind of don't want to bust this awesome secret shop wide open on yelp but the pine emporium is awesome. It beats wandering the flea markets and you can find really cool antiques from 50s TV lamps to lustreware. Don't forget to check the basement! read more

I just don't even know where to start with this review. I felt that way inside the shop too. There is just soooooooooooooo much awesomeness. This is like every great thrift store/antique store/estate sale dropped into one huge house. If you're looking for it, it's probably here. And if it's not, Bob can probably get it for you. I spent a lot of time upstairs looking at the old books because, who knew, they had a great selection of the type of books that I collect. I had to put some back because I was about to walk out of there with a new library. There is one room that has newer stuff, and a local artisan's pottery, but if you're looking for fantastic anything else, this is the place. There is glassware. Figurines. S+P shakers. Toys. Dishes. Games. Camping gear. Furniture. Clothing. Lighting. Books on books on books. Magazines. Manuals. College items. I sincerely wish we lived closer, but it is totally worth the trip. This place is pretty cool. There is a ton--I mean TON of stuff to go through here. Make sure you have some time to look, and look a lot. Dig. We definitely found a few treasures here, and we were cut a tiny price break because we dropped a couple hundred bucks there, but TBH, most antique/thrift type shops we've gone to have offered a bigger discount on large purchases. In the end, the price is worth it for the stuff we got, but it is pricier than other places, for sure. But you're in Pine--it's cute here. A buck or two more, who cares? You're in an incredible location looking through cool antiques. read more

It just keeps going, and going, and going. This place is packed to the brim, and then some, with stuff you probably don't need, or once had, but relish in the hours you can spend looking, shopping, and ultimately buying. But I want a place whose basement is filled with antique wares? Not a problem. Well in my case, I'm looking for an upstairs complete with paper products of type and pictures. Check. For me, it's Coleman lanterns and puff paint-lined jean jackets. Not. A. Problem. I'm not certain how everything made it's way to the Pine Emporium, but there's so much stuff that they posted a sign on the front door saying they simply can't buy/bring in any more. Now it's your antiquing duty to take it out. Consider a Austrian seltzer bottle, or some John Denver records (over my dead body), or perhaps some dinner plates circa 1962. Even if you drop the scrilla on the counter, you'll be filled with memories navigating the aisles. If visiting scenic Pine, swing by the Emporium and give that old bed frame, or Wheel of Fortune board game, a new home. read more

If you love antiques like I do then you will love this place! There is so much stuff to look at, you could spend the whole day in there. I like to collect LuRay dinnerware and Ruby glass and I always seem to find at least one of those pieces. A thrift, antique, museum, treasure hunt and short road trip experience! In the lovely place of Pine, of course. The Pine Emporium not only has the funnest name to repeat five times fast, it has vintage and handmade jewelry, ephemera, furniture, kitchen supplies, books, all of it. I almost get the feeling that an antique-collecting hoarder lived here since 1930, moved out and decided to name it the Pine Emporium. Not a bad idea... The kitchen is overflowing with drool-worthy vintage supplies. Off the kitchen is a living room filled with lamps, chairs, unicorn statues, etc. The bedroom upstairs is stuffed with books, even old, mysterious, locked diaries. The basement contains old tools, furniture that should stay outside or in a basement and other decrepit shabby-chic items. The front entry is where all of the more expensive collectibles are encased, so if that's not what you're looking for, set aside four or five hours and keep going. read more

I've been thrifting and antiquing for a long time and often look to places such as this for neat finds to repurpose and simply refinish. While this shop has a plethora of items and treasures, which are quite impressive, their prices are higher than most places which make it hard to feel as though your getting a deal. I collect Jim Beam bottles for example and their prices on these items were exact if not higher than value. Some of the items, while rare, aren't in the best condition and while it may be an antique price has to make sense based on quality as well. The people are nice, the place is gigantic and there is quite a selection but I don't agree with their overpriced tickets. Definitely worth your time to stop but don't be surprised at the higher sticker prices. read more
