If I had known in advance, I would have taken another day and taken her somewhere else. It was horrible. She was still aware, trying to hold her head up, and cried in pain from the final iv push. Now I will have to go on hearing that in my head for the rest of my life. She was not suffering when we entered the building but that caused her suffering and she cried in extreme pain. Now I am suffering as well. I went in that day expecting her to be put to sleep peacefully and never to experience any pain or suffering. They should let us know in advance that they don't practice what everyone else does. I'm in complete anguish and despair over this. Not putting them to sleep first is not common practice and is inhumane.

My family had been seeing this vet for thirty years, give or take, but on this day it wasn't Doc Steadman - it was another doctor. Moore? Morris? I don't remember and I don't care. This doctor watched my wonderful dog collapsing, struggling to breathe, being unable to walk and had the audacity to tell me it was BONE SPURS. I brought up these issues again and again and again, while my dog was collapsing in front of him. Nothing. I had even CALLED AHEAD to make sure THEY were the ones who could help us - they told us to bring him in - but still Nothing. I could have brought my boy to another vet had they told us they didn't have time, or that this doctor simply didn't feel like dealing with it. He insisted it was "old age and bone spurs" no matter what I said, and I completely lost the opportunity to ease my dog's suffering. I'd have been completely on board with euthanasia if that were even an option with this man, just to ease my boy's asphyxia and pain. He was denied the most basic care and the trauma of him suffocating to death in my lap will always be there. Thanks for all you've done Steadman, but I will never be back as long as the other doctor is there.

Ultrasound done they are loving caring and Knowledgeable refer me to specialist Mean while I call ferry pass they have already been contacted by Davis for records I tell them I want the results of the urine test do t send them to Davis as I will pick them up call me. Waited over 4 days call them oh we sent them to Davis now I'm angry specifically told you not to send them to call me which the lied they would specifically told you I did not need a referral they proceed to give my number out to some referral place knowing that I went to Davis well manager and I had Words she proceeded to tell me I was fired. Huh huh you think I work for you that's the attitude they have. I spent more money there then at the Davis hospital or the specialist

When one was done, I ask and she says " I don't know, you might be next". We wait another 10 minutes and decide that's enough. I give the clipboard to the tech that put us in the room and tell her that is unacceptable. If someone would have come in to give us a heads up there's a delay or anything would have been appreciated. Not 5 minutes after we get home, we get a VOICE RECORD MESSAGE apologizing and hoping we will give them another chance. Wow, do you have to make that many of those calls that you do a recording???? Whoever this office manager is, is not doing you any favors!!! So many complaints in one appointment is so unacceptable.
