I've lived here for about 3 months now, and so far am having good luck with it…read more I am on a 3rd floor apt, with the vaulted ceiling makes it very open and full of light. Have had two maintenance issue (dishwasher leak) which was quickly fixed. Also bee hives on balcony, also quickly and professionally fixed (Orkin). My neighbors are all very quiet, I never hear anyone really. And they all have dogs as well. Very dog friendly, just wish there was a fenced in area sometimes. Other than that, there is a big open field next to me with posts containing dog waste bags which is nice. There is a lot of wildlife around because of the marshy area surrounding the complex - which is good and bad. Lots of birds, frogs, dragonflies, and deer. I drive to work early so sometimes I worry about the deer, but other than that, where I am I don't really smell or notice the swampy area.

void moving here at all costs…read more I lived at Glenn Valley for two years and had an all around horrible experience. The numerous reviews saying that the soundproofing in this building is horrible are 100% correct. I could hear my above neighbors alarm go off every morning and the manager who lived below me had the audacity to ask ME to be quieter in the mornings while I got ready for work.. all I ever did was walk to my bathroom, shower, pack my lunch and leave. There was nothing I could do differently. She also brought this up when we went to upgrade our WiFi which was completely unprofessional. She treated us completely differently after this, even though we did our best to be quiet and respectful. As people have said in other reviews, there is no subfloor or insulation so you can hear everything in the apartments next to you. There was nothing we could've done differently to make her happy. We even traveled to a neighboring state almost every weekend to see family, so we weren't there to be making any noise. Management here is completely unprofessional, rude, untruthful and judgmental. All they care about is money. Don't bother leaving any honest reviews of dissatisfaction. When we did, we were told we could not re-sign our lease. They would rather do that than working on the problems people have with this environment and making changes to improve experiences. There is so much more I could say but I don't want to give them any more of my energy. I am so serious when I say avoid living here at all costs. You are better off anywhere else.

In fact, there are several lakes here, as well as regularly maintained grounds with gorgeous plantings. Nature is big here: trails, woods, even a nature preserve across the road. I have lived in a historic home in Marshall, but Keystone is the most beautiful place I have ever called home. I recommend it highly. The maintenance is superb. The office staff is excellent. Many professional people live here, as well as young families and retirees. You are safe here, you are surrounded by nature and beauty and the peace they give you. The shower in my apartment is a disaster, the ceilings are rotting, the light in the kitchen doesn't work, and yesterday water flooded the apartment. This year, it was not open at all. I was told that rent is being raised to stay in competition of surrounding apartments. I would only think this was fair if they stayed true to the amenities offered. The pool is NOT heated, doesn't even open at all during the summers, gym is NOT 24 hour access. Management does NOT get there at time it shows office is open on the website, and is now also closed all day on Wednesdays. Never answers the phone, takes at the minimum 3 weeks for them to even acknowledge a maintenance request. They are now taking out washers and dryers, a lot of things that the other management did around the apartments, as far as putting in new light bulbs, checking the air filters, upkeeping with the safety of the apartments, are no longer done. My air filter has only been changed out twice since the new management took over in 2017. I heard one lady in one of the complexes had her faucet upstairs break while water was running, and could not get ahold of the office or maintenance during business hours, so the ceiling in her living room completely crashed down, and she has small children living there. This place is not what it used to be and management, as well as corporate, should be ashamed of themselves for not addressing these concerns and trying to rip people off of their money, when this is supposed to be a government based property, so raising the rent shouldn't be. And if the rent is raised, at least stay true to your word, or update the website with what is actually available and take down what is incorrect. This place is turning into a slum place to be, and all management or corporate can think of is filling up the apartments for the money. I will make sure to post this on several places, as well as continue to inform people when they ask about where I live. Embarrassed of my own place of living.
