They're refusing to give it back to me at no cost, and making it my responsibility to get it out, and I don't think that's fair. they failed to make any contact to let me know that I was violating anything, if I was, gave no warnings, gave me no information, and towed my car. I would like to add that the "guest parking spots" were only found after I did preliminary investigating on my own, they were labeled by an obfuscated sign hidden by trees. further adding onto the review that at no point did the company sanctioned towing operator check underneath my mirror to see whether or not I had a visitor pass, they explicitly checked on the side of my car windshield.

For everyone that is having slow internet, Go to the office and just buy a plan from xfinity or contact their support on their computers. Those people are very helpful :) There's also spectrum internet but you can get that if you wish. The maintenance is also really great! shout out to Neil! he has great energy. Dave is also a really great person too. I don't have a car so. I love how there are so many places I can just walk to. I really like it here! Always great to plan stuff in advance. I'm a happy resident here and recently moved in, So far so good! :) I always go up to the pharmacy and all the other restaurants and walk to the office afterwards. I don't go to mcdonalds or trader joe's cuz that's a bit of a distance. Edit: It's been a year and 3 month's since moving here and so far so good! Maintenance is nice and helps fix your house. I pay my rent/water bill on the monarch app. When I moved to another unit, It seems to have an ethereal cable wall socket so I can have my router downstairs and plug my cable into that socket, my previous unit didn't had that and I had to have my router in the main floor. (I been told that all apartments are the same and my previous unit did had a wall socket) I showed a picture and tried to explain my previous place didn't and they just walked away from me. I hate people that want to try to prove they're right even If they're wrong. They tell us that we always need the router in the basement to connect to the internet but you cant connect wired If a bedroom doesn't have the ethereal cable wall socket (One of the managers told me every unit has it but they actually don't so I'm skeptical that they don't know a lot of things that they think they do) ‍ I'm hoping I'll stay at the unit I'm in now for a few years till I can afford to move to a studio or something so I'm by myself. A lot of these old units needs to be updated but that's just my honest opinion. (I don't think this will ever happen, the houses will forever stay the same for decades) Edit Edit: It's been about 2 years living here now, The only thing I want to complain Is, When a thing get's broken, the maintenance says we need a part to repair it, It's been 5 days....I called the office and one of the managers says I need an entire new hvac system, thank goodness It's going to be free but they say they don't have an ETA on It so all I have Is a fan to keep me cool. This sucks. Didn't even bother to email me or call me for an update about It, The funniest part Is that one of the managers told me they will update me on the situation, they didn't. It depends where you got assigned to and the maintenance helps out the best they can. When I first moved here, my review was ok and could've been better, I'm not sure If the managers does background checks on people because there can be bad people living here so If you're in a 6 bedroom unit, be careful.

I've lived here for about 3 months now, and so far am having good luck with it…read more I am on a 3rd floor apt, with the vaulted ceiling makes it very open and full of light. Have had two maintenance issue (dishwasher leak) which was quickly fixed. Also bee hives on balcony, also quickly and professionally fixed (Orkin). My neighbors are all very quiet, I never hear anyone really. And they all have dogs as well. Very dog friendly, just wish there was a fenced in area sometimes. Other than that, there is a big open field next to me with posts containing dog waste bags which is nice. There is a lot of wildlife around because of the marshy area surrounding the complex - which is good and bad. Lots of birds, frogs, dragonflies, and deer. I drive to work early so sometimes I worry about the deer, but other than that, where I am I don't really smell or notice the swampy area.

First of all, the office staff is very organized, & they know why you are there when you walk in. You don't have to stand around forever explaining you need a package or have a question. The only thing that I did not appreciate happened after driving in from out of state w/ the moving guys waiting. I was signing the paperwork to move in & they said they couldn't accept my job's offer letter because there was no company logo on it. SO, I had to call my boss, and he had to write a new letter w/ a logo, and luckily e-mailed it to me right away. Otherwise they were literally not going to let me move in. I had a good job there, making 58,000/yr, which I suspect is more than most of the people in the area. I guess it is a Michigan thing. People are so mistrusting that you even have an income, they will not believe you unless they see your credit score or your company logo, I guess. I've never been treated that way, with such mistrust about my income. Anyway, I told them I wanted the 2 BR because the 1 BR was just way too small for me and my possessions. The leasing girl didn't want to outright say anything, but she was obviously steering me twd the 1 BR. I didn't know why, but I made it pretty clear that I could afford the 2 br, & I wanted it. It was cheaper than the studio I used to rent in another state, so it seemed like a great deal. Nice big kitchen, heat included, nice balcony too. Now, I think she knew that the family living in the 2 BR below me were incredibly noisy, and didn't want me to deal with that. I wish she would have just told me, even if she wasn't supposed to. That was my biggest problem with this place. The walls, ceiling & floors are extremely thin, and the family below me constantly made noise morning, noon and night as if they were barbarian cave people. They yelled at each other all the time, the kids were playing with loud noisemaker devices, and banging on the walls very loudly late at night. I guess they had no bed time. The little girl would wake up screaming 2x a night. The dad/grandpa would come in and yell at her, and the wife and him would yell at each other every night. How would you like to get woken up by a screaming kid and yelling parents 2x a night? I bought a white noise machine. Even with that, it was hard to sleep. I was tired every day. It was very draining. Besides, this girl was not a baby. Do 2 or 3 year olds normally wake up screaming every night? I was starting to wonder what the hell was going on down there. They literally never left the apartment either. They coop the kids up there all day & night. When I was working from home from time to time, I could hardly even think because of all the noise and yelling they did all day long. I tried to drown them out with my television sometimes when I was awake. It just was unbearable living above people like that. Once I went to the pool and the whole family left their apt and stood/sat next to the pool watching me, but none of them swam. The little girl wanted to swim, but the dad would start yelling at her in another language. They were just sitting by the pool, in intense heat. Not swimming. Then an ice cream truck went by, the kids wanted ice cream, and they got yelled at again! From time to time, I had a maintenance issue. The maintenance guy let me know that he is getting free rent for being the maintenance guy, & he didn't seem like he had much experience/knowledge. Toilet broke & the guy "fixed" it, and it broke again. He didn't really do anything useful, so I fixed it myself with a paperclip because I figured this guy doesn't really care. It obviously needed a new part. I'm not going to say maintenance was bad, because he usually responded to the calls & sometimes fixed things well, but he was just kinda lazy and I started to notice that my TV would be on a channel I never ever watch when I got home. So, the maintenance man was watching my TV, the HGTV channel in fact. Funny thing is, I cannot stand HGTV and I subscribed to Showtime and HBO & had a big TV, & this guy wasn't watching my premium channels, which are obviously much better. I didn't bother to complain because I didn't want my stuff not to get fixed, and I figured, watching my TV doesn't hurt anyone, but let's just say I was aware of it. Swamp land surrounding the place smells like something died, & bothered my sinuses all the time. Anyway, the grounds are taken care of well, and there are nice things about this place, but you can see there are some annoyances too. If you live by quiet neighbors, your experience would probably be much better than mine. Just don't be surprised if you see a lot of cars in the parking lot that have been creatively fixed with duct tape, wiring, and styrafoam and sound like lawn mowers when they're started up. The staff/management with this apartment complex is horrible at communication. I walked through an…read moreapartment and wanted that unit. I reached out asking which address it was to make sure I applied for the correct unit. Somehow they gave me the wrong unit, they didn't clean it and didn't help with the cost of cleaning it after I moved in. I spoke with the district manager and showed proof that I was given the wrong unit and pictures of how filthy the apartment was and she didn't seem to care about customer service or how their staff treated tenants. They decided they were going to issue parking passes for the windshield but instead of making anyone aware of this, they put tickets on cars without a pass. We went into the office and were treated horrible by staff members because people were upset about the parking tickets. My lease expired 3 days ago and I've heard nothing. I've called, emailed and sent text messages. Nobody is getting back to me. I showed proof of rental insurance and they still decided they're going to charge me for renters insurance. In the winter, you can feel the draft coming in through the windows and the apartment is FREEZING (Outside unit, which I didn't want) and my consumers energy bill is over $200/month just because we have to crank the heat to try to stay warm. Plastic over the windows helps a little and yet I tell them we need new windows and I get zero response. The only good thing about this apartment complex is the response time for maintenance issues. If it didn't cost anything to move, I wouldn't stay but I'm on a budget as most of us are and I'm wasting a ton of money on expenses for this place that they don't tell you about. There are also additional fees tied to the apartment that they don't tell you about when you move in so your actual rent is $100 more per month than what they tell you it is. There are empty units all over the complex where as other places have waiting lists. I now see why!

You proved blinds that literally break when you touch them and then charged my friend when they moved out for broken blinds. My neighbor said they contacted you about their tub being backed up. You did absolutely nothing. STOP COMING ON HERE ACTING LIKE YOU ARE GOING TO SOLVE ANYTHING! You don't solve anything. You act so fake on here and then people get stuck in this getto ass lease. You know damn well. Any parents wondering? Just go drive by, look at the sidewalks, look at the trash cans they provided, test out the intercoms, look at the blinds, look at the beds and furniture.. Look at the stained tubs, ripped out rubber on the garbage disposal, busted up refrigerators.. I would understand if they said hey it's a place to live but they are claiming this is luxury living. Maybe compared to a third world country? But yes comment under me and say "oh just contact the office and we will help you" nope you won't. I have contacted you, my neighbor has contacted you and my friend contacted you. Cons: People speed and there's no place for kids to play plus a massive in fenced pond and a pool gate that people leave open. So not the best place for littles. Super annoying tough that the water keeps getting shut off. I would give another star but it's literally ALWAYS getting shut off. They planned it to get shut off all day on Valentine's Day...as if people wouldn't want to shower and get ready for dates. And then it always gets shut off randomly without notifying tenants and it's pretty annoying. I've had maintenance walk into my apartment TWICE because they went to the wrong apartment but the maintenance workers are pretty nice. Make sure you ask if you're in a smoking building or not. Found out the hard way that we're living in a smoking building with a newborn and a toddler... plus maintenance literally smokes in the apartments when they're prepare it for new tenants... Overall, I'd choose this place again for an apartment complex in BC.

In fact, there are several lakes here, as well as regularly maintained grounds with gorgeous plantings. Nature is big here: trails, woods, even a nature preserve across the road. I have lived in a historic home in Marshall, but Keystone is the most beautiful place I have ever called home. I recommend it highly. The maintenance is superb. The office staff is excellent. Many professional people live here, as well as young families and retirees. You are safe here, you are surrounded by nature and beauty and the peace they give you. Really, what more could you ask for?
