It's a hidden gem, compared to more popular, overcrowded nature areas. Mike and Brandi were super responsive and helpful via text and in person. It truly is a family business so always happy to support that. We stayed at one of the two campsites and it seems like, at least when we were there, the rest of the RV park folks there were mostly chill, quiet seniors. We helped ourselves to free hot showers (!!!!) and had the sparkling clean restrooms pretty much to ourselves the entire weekend. Nice hiking trail on their property, games and activities available if you choose. We chose to SUP, check out all the pretty lakes in the area. Highly recommend this campground, will visit again.

No thanks I do appreciate the care that the owners have put in to this spot, again, super clean and very well maintained. All of the trailers around us were peoples' vacation trailers. We got a spot on the very outer end of the park, so it was nice not to have people on one side of us. If you are not a "long timer" you are really packed in tight. Too close for us. The WiFi is very sketchy and where we were parked, we hardly ever had it. Had to use our Hot Spots most of the time. The evening we went to use the laundromat, the spin cycle did not work and our clothes were soaking wet. Took forever and a lot of money to get them eventually dry. We started going to the laundromat in Blairsden, 8 miles away. We would consider coming back if we could get a spot that wasn't so close to everyone like site# 19 was.

If the staff happen to read this, please know I genuinely appreciate how nice and professional you all are. The site we choose has full hookups and we've never had an issue. The campground has cable and WiFi if that's something important to you. They also do a really fun campground trick or treat during the Halloween season (call for dates) where all dress up, decorate their spots and hand out candy to the kids. The campground has plenty of shade which is nice. They also have a dog park with poop bags at the ready. They do have a store, but it is limited. Overall great experience and we will return.

The park is ideally located on the outskirts of town on a stream in which you can fish and cool down in. It's also within walking distance to a brewpub and downtown Quincy. If you have a bike, you can cycle on a bike path to a Safeways to get groceries. The park also backs on to an agricultural area for Feature River College so in the morning you may wake up to horses or cattle behind you. The park is clean and quiet and has laundry facilities but not bathroom facilities. It's also a great place to stage if you have a dual sport motorcycle.

Was told by this maintenance worker (dude that rakes sites) that we were only allowed to use the sewer hookup at our site no matter what. This is totally unacceptable and very poor customer service. We won't be returning.

Spot 19 could use a little work as far as a retaining wall. There isn't a lot of walking around room when you get out of your trailer or rv.. If you're not careful you may fall into your neighbors site.. All the room for this spot is in front of your trailer. The owner Brian is very helpful and a really nice guy. All site have 30 and 50 amp hook ups with running water. A huge plus is every site has it's own dump station. We will definitely be back when camping in the area...

She follows the protocol her company requires and then goes above and beyond! She makes me feel like a human and a valued tenet, not just a space number on a computer ledger. Because much of the park's natural beauty was decimated in the 2018 campfire, in addition to her office work, Crystalrose diligently strives to bring new and maintain existing beauty to the entire park. Our rig is self-contained but enjoyed the roomy bathroom/shower rooms, of course its .25 cents for 5 minutes of water to shower but got myself done for a Mear .75 cents! A dog wash, lending library, Ice cream, bagged ice, beach volleyball next door, swimming pool, geez, we even when to the oval dirt track races on Saturday! too many things to list but well worth the trip and relaxation. definitely recommend. like some other posts the management is around but gone at times, so if you need items from the office before the weekend get them before they leave. they have a list of yard games and other items that are useful in case you forget to bring yard darts or something!
