Walking into the house, my girlfriend and I were transported into what felt like snow white's wonderland cabin. The teacups on the ceiling, the wood slab table with pie plates, the velvet couches... there are cozy little details everywhere; the more we looked, the more we were amazed. We were greeted by Priya, the owner of Flume's End who is a one-woman show. Her energy was contagious and I immediately felt at home. She showed us to our room, the Empire Suite, which has a huge bed, a gorgeous bathroom, and its own outside patio balcony. This is an all inclusive experience. Priya likes to leave out cookies for guests as "midnight snacks," and there's hot cocoa and coffee available all day! I can't say enough about the breakfast, which had everything you could ask for. Can we talk about the little parfait cups?!? And the mini egg dishes? I was living in tea party heaven. You can't beat staying at Flume's End. It's a 5 minute walk into downtown, and the backyard is a fairy forest that you can wander around and enjoy day & night. We'll be back!

There was several great bands on Friday night - they stopped playing at 10:00pm so I could still get my beauty sleep . the bathroom looks like it's been recently updated - nicely done! Quintopia has great beer choices and an amazing menu! I had the Spicy Chicken Sandwich and the Corn Ribs. Delicious!!!

Rob & Linda Hart, who run the Inn & Coventry Gardens, are amazing! They were so sweet & welcoming & they made us feel right at home! The Old Town Mercantile that's inside the Inn offers a wide variety of neat gifts including some really cool vintage items. As gorgeous as the grounds are during the day you have to see them at night when their decorative lights are on. We stayed in The Blue Room & it was spacious & beautiful. Everything was clean & well stocked. With a view of the grounds & Coventry Gardens from several of the many windows & the large private bathroom with a tub & handheld shower, staying here was a real pleasure! The reservation process was easy, and she made sure we had everything we needed when we arrived. We found a list of local restaurants on the dining table, which was very helpful. (Tip: If you're going downtown for dinner, don't drive -- it's a nice walk from the inn, plus it's hard to find parking downtown.) The inn is in a quiet area, and we slept quite well in Lola's room. In the morning, the breakfast Janet made was incredible! Egg and cheese croissant sandwiches with fresh basil, thick sliced bacon, fresh fruit, juice, and coffee. One of the best meals I've ever had! The grounds are lovely. There is a pool and a hot tub, and plenty of places to sit and relax outdoors. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, so much that I wish we could have stayed longer!
