Staff is very friendly and accommodating, I always feel like my teeth are cleaned properly and that they are looking out for me, and they make sure to remind me when I have an appointment. I started going to Dr Yu after my other dentist missed a HUGE problem that had been going on for years. The damage in the end was quite bad and I required surgery. A student dentist with very limited experience worked on my teeth and mistakenly treated what was actually a filling as if it were plaque. As a result, the surface of my tooth is now rough and uneven in several areas. When I raised concerns, I was repeatedly told that my tooth was already like that, which was not the case. The student dentist even admitted uncertainty about whether there had been a filling and had no "before" documentation to confirm. I was assured the issue would be corrected the following day by Dr. Rob Eisen. However, when I returned, to see doctor Dr. Jerry Jesin I was told I would need to pay to have the damage fixed. This was extremely frustrating, as I did not arrive with this issue, and the initial appointment had already been cut short due to the problem. Overall, I found the experience unprofessional and disappointing, and I would not recommend this clinic based on my experience. Seems like this place focuses on older people and is assurance grab. It gets better, the centre even filled my claim with the insurance and took care of everything. You won't believe it but it actually gets better. The service was spotless. State of the art machines, fast service, kind and joyful! I met with Dr Bilic. So Kind. Very diligent with her work. To top it all out, I was able to get a dental cleaning appointment for the next day of my first visit! It goes without saying that I am very satisfied with the service.

I avoided anything dental-related for decades following some bad experiences when I was younger…read more But when I saw the ad for Dr. Slome's office in a local mag (I think it was Midtown Post), I was inspired to give it a try. That was two years ago and I'm still going now (just had a hygiene appt. there this morning, in fact). So, I am VERY glad I gave it a shot. Just walking into the place is like walking into a movie set - and you're the star. The new offices (until 2017 I believe they were at a different location) are beautiful. The front desk staff are super-friendly (you always hear about surly staff at medical offices, but that has never been the case at Accolade). The folks working on your teeth are always gentle, and asking if you're comfortable. Oh, and they have Netflix to watch while you're getting your teeth worked on. Dr. Slome is a true doctor: he genuinely cares about your teeth and is understanding about any medical or personal situation. Finally, everyone is attractive (relevant as seeing people with great teeth in a dental office is reassuring and inspiring to the patient!). So, instead of trembling in fear in anticipation of pain like I did when I was very young, I now find having my teeth worked on a relaxing experience. I can honestly say that Dr. Slome and the staff at the clinic have taken better care of my teeth than I have. I had Invisalign done (complete now, pending some crown work that desperately needs to be done), and am quite satisfied with the results. They started the process with a 3D scan of my teeth, and later sent links to a video where I could see the weekly update to my teeth - very efficient and modern. They also recommended some teeth whitening gel that I bought there that is both relatively inexpensive and provides great results. If you are skeptical of overwhelmingly positive reviews such as this, good - it is wise to be cautious. But, I am an actual patient of Dr. Slome's and will post this review on Google reviews as well. You can contact me here or there if you have any questions or you want to see the after pictures of my Invisalign - and, if you're brave, the before. Edit: Just remembered - on your first visit they give you a cool package with a mug, toothbrush, toothpaste, and I think some floss. Later, they gave me some mints, and occasionally some more tooth care stuff.
