I didn't know if it could be moved. John got his backhoe through some tight spots around the house and grabbed the cab and pulled it out. He maneuvered back around the house and got the cab in the dump truck. He then picked up a heavy old engine and 25 tires. They also went back and picked up scraps of metal and the bumper/scraps and raked up all the glass. John and his helper were so friendly and professional and had a can-do attitude. They were so nice and had a great sense of humor and were great to deal with. They did everything for a very reasonable price and very quickly. I would recommend this company 1000 times over. Midwest Moving was very communicative from the moment we reached out to them. Their quote was…read morereasonable; however, I was fairly certain that they had underestimated the time, which they had. I believe they charge you from the time they leave their facility until the time they return, so keep that in mind when estimating your own cost and keep careful track of when they come and go so that you don't get charged more as that almost happened to us. Their employees were friendly and polite and arrived within the timeframe they had promised. We had three guys show (instead of the two that were expected). They moved the furniture fairly quickly as we had a tight window to complete the move on both ends. Unfortunately, there were a couple of items (an electric fireplace and a shelf that we are aware of thus far) that we discovered had minor damage, so be sure to wrap everything carefully that you really care about. They also forgot to bring some of the bolts for the bed frame (which we discovered later) and their drill from the first location, so my husband had to drive back to original house to let them in. Despite these few issues, we were happy to have movers who actually showed up when promised and did what they said they were going to do. We would absolutely consider using them again.
