This is our spare vehicle that isn't used often so we were trying to keep it maintained. They told me that it couldn't be aligned, that the struts would have to be replaced. They gave me a quote and sent me on my way. The did NOT tell me that the tie rods were bad, and I found out that they would have known Neither did they indicate that it might be at all unsafe to be driving. So My son drove the hummer as we were deciding how we wanted to tackle the expense and he had a wreck because the tie rods went out. He was very lucky not to have been injured and that he was going at a low speed as he had just left the house. He ended up in a farmer's field banged up as the hummer went off the road into a culvert. Wreck and a brand new tire ruined as well. NEVER again will I go there for mechanic work. Take 10, DO BETTER! I came into this business on March 17th to have 2 tires replaced on my RV. The price for the tires…read morewas reasonable as well as the price of the labor. I headed North, since I was returning to my home state of Minnesota. 2 weeks later, I arrived at my destination, and just as I reached the exit ramp, something shiny rolled away from the RV. I stopped and walked back and there was my hub cap on the roadway with both lug nuts broken off. I also noted that 5 of the 8 lug nuts were gone and broken off. I contacted Bauer Built Tire and they sent a mechanic out to me. He showed me where the holes for the lugs were rounded and the hub itself was damaged. Bauer Built emailed me an invoice for the work that needed to be done. I contacted the manager, Justin. After a number of future attempts to contact him, I finally talked to him today(5/5) to discuss the work. His first offer was a 50/50 split of the bill. I told him that was completely unacceptable, and that I might be happy with a 75/25 split. Justin informed me he would speak to corporate again and try for an 80/20 split, but on further thought, why should I be responsible at all for any of the repairs if this company stands behind there policy of complete customer satisfaction. If I am not satisfied with their reply, then I will be forced to reach out to the BBB, and the State Attorney General's office for some help resolving this matter.

I bought 2 tires with rims…read moreon Saturday, and unfortunately I didn't bring in the car that needed them because I obviously didn't have tires on it, the gentleman I originally talked to was so nice and kind and understanding and told me if they didn't fit I could bring them back and exchange them, worked for me I thought they would fit, turns out they didn't fit, and with Monday being a holiday and my work schedule I wasn't able to do anything until today (Thursday) I called and just wanted to return the tires and rims, (because I had a friend who gave me tires and rims that fit) and the gentleman told me I had to talk to the owner, which is fine, In this process, I only called 3 times to get this figured out, and the worker told me to call back around 1:30pm so I could talk to the owner, not a problem, called around 1:50pm and when the owner got on the phone, he was immediately aggressive, said because I've called so much, (he said I had called like 20 times) that the only thing he could do was give me $100.00 and the rest would be store credit. I apologized multiple times, told him I wasn't trying to be rude or demanding, but I paid almost $300 dollars for tires and rims that didn't fit and all I wanted to do was bring the tires and rims back and get my money back. He said absolutely that's not going happen and all he's willing to do is the $100 and store credit even though I don't need the rims or tires anymore. The whole conversation with him was just angry and aggressive and all I did was apologize. I will never ever come back to this tire shop. I've been coming here for 7 years and the way the owner spoke to me and belittled me was unbelievable. I won't judge and say he's only out for money, but that is absolutely the impression I got from him today. I could understand, if I was being hateful and rude, but I was doing nothing but apologizing for the inconvenience and truly sincere. Find a different tire shop to go to. This owner will take your money and if it's wrong will tell you, your out of luck. The only thing this business has going for them is the the kind gentleman who helped me originally.
