It is easy to go in just about any direction so be on the lookout for people going horizontally when the aisle is vertical. Parking is angled. It is quite close to I-95 making for a good amount of traffic and maybe attracts a certain element. There are quite a few shopping centers in this part of Boynton Beach. I came to Oakwood Square to have lunch at TooJay's Deli. After lunch I decided to do some shopping and visited the Dollar Tree and Five Below. I was especially excited to find a Kirkland's because the one near me closed. Other businesses include TJ-Maxx, Sally Beauty, Sola Salons, Coldwell Banker, Super Cuts, Davita Kidney Care, a dance studio, and Tijuana Flats. There were a lot of places I like to eat at and shop at but there were a few empty spaces too. Overall I think this plaza has a good mix of businesses for shopping, dining, and health and beauty services.

This shopping center/strip has a little bit of everything…read more It's anchored by a Publix grocery store on one end and an Adrenaline Entertainment Center with indoor trampolines among other amusements on the other side. In between, there are several restaurants -- Mexican, Indian pizza, and a sports bar. There's McDonalds for fast food out front, too. And a variety of different stores and services -- nail salon, dollar store, spa/massage, doctor offices, bank, etc. These businesses have changed a bit over the years with the Publix being the longest tenant, we think. We have come here mainly for the Publix, Dollar Tree and the restaurants.

The shopping center is about 151,800 square feet and it has lot of vehicular traffic passing by about 38,000 cars per day pass by this mall, so the area is busy and there's about 150,000 living within 3 miles of the shopping center. In terms of restaurants, you can find Chili's, Keke's Breakfast Cafe and Miller's Ale House. Lots of parking.

Federal does an odd "S" curve here making for some challenges when trying to line up parking and buildings for maximum consumption. As such, the parking area is difficult. I came in from the McLaren side and was able to get a good spot for the Sprinter van next to some food delivery box trucks. There is also a parking deck but the Sprinter definitely won't fit in there, or some surface parking accessible from US-1 which I didn't see until after. Quite a lot of shops and restaurants in this center. I was here for Stormhouse Brewing which has a lovely deck facing the road and the cove before it crosses under PGA and becomes Lake Little Worth. Located in the Westgate neighborhood of Palm Beach, this shopping plaza was built in 1991. It…read morestarted out as the Cross County Mall, a partially enclosed mall. Mall owner Owner Wespac Investments declared bankruptcy in the 90's and allowed the mall to deteriorate. A fire at the Builders Square in 1993 further led to the downfall of the mall resulting in it being purchased in September of 1997, demolished, and turned into the Cross County Plaza. The plaza was purchased in 2014 by a Brooklyn based developer for 35 million dollars. At the time it had a AMC movie theater, Kmart, Winn-Dixie, and Radio Shack, all businesses long gone. In May of last year the owner was hit with a foreclosure suit for not paying the mortgage. The mall took a hard hit when many of the businesses were closed during the pandemic. Today the shopping center has 350,000 square feet of retail space over 33 acres. There seems to be a lot of open spaces for rent giving the impression of being run down. The Big Lots has moved out but there is another discount retailer, Ollie's Bargain Outlet. For thrifters there is an American Thrift Store. Other businesses in the plaza include Ross, Madrag, Presidente Supermarket, CitiTrends, David's Bridal, and Empire Beauty School. Parking is plentiful and it does have a few unique retailers. Hopefully the plaza will be able to recover.

The strip mall has restaurants, professional offices, cell phone store, a package ship store and a bank with drivethrough. It's in decent condition and the parking is good. Lots of sharp corners and turns to keep traffic moving slowly.. Interesting to see the turnover on the sign since Richard's review three years back.
