I really loved that it isn't a typical spa office setting. It's located in an older Victorian-style home in Shadyside, which gives it a unique and cozy feel that adds to the overall experience. She even pulled out books to show me the muscular anatomy, so I could understand the muscles that are causing my boyfriend's headaches and how to best find them and work on them. I have some experience with reiki and she even showed me how to work reiki into the massage techniques. You can take notes or take pictures and videos with your phone so that you can bring this knowledge home, but you'll also have plenty of time to work on the techniques and build them into your memory. Abby is very intuitive and quickly picked up on our needs, and we had a very relaxing time. Massage is a great way for couples to care for each other and strengthen intimacy, I would highly recommend this class for any couple looking to destress together. Prices are super reasonable too.
