They were both extremely kind, professional, and made me feel comfortable and cared for throughout my visit. The spa itself is beautiful, clean, and has such a relaxing atmosphere. I really loved that it isn't a typical spa office setting. It's located in an older Victorian-style home in Shadyside, which gives it a unique and cozy feel that adds to the overall experience. Even the front desk staff (I believe her name was Laura) was so welcoming and friendly. Everyone I interacted with made me feel right at home. You can take notes or take pictures and videos with your phone so that you can bring this knowledge home, but you'll also have plenty of time to work on the techniques and build them into your memory. Abby is very intuitive and quickly picked up on our needs, and we had a very relaxing time. Massage is a great way for couples to care for each other and strengthen intimacy, I would highly recommend this class for any couple looking to destress together. Prices are super reasonable too. Without a doubt, Jessica @ Urban Escape is the best massage therapist in the business. I have traveled to many cities across the country, visited spas in many resorts, and not one has been able to replicate the skills or attention to detail that Jessica has. When she states "customized," that's exactly what it is. She can identify where your body needs relief and works directly to deal with your issues. I have a joint replacement, stenosis, and a slew of other medical issues. And, although I hobble in to my appointment, afterward, the relief is amazing.
