She asks a ton of questions not only to address your health concern, but also to get to know you as a person. It is uncommon to find a doctor with such a relaxed and warm bedside manner. She is an absolute diamond of a doctor. The office is clean and modern. There is plenty of parking all around the building. It is located right off 518 and is easy to locate. The staff is friendly and receptive. There is usually very little wait time. The office uses the MyChart ap to help you stay in contact with your doctor. Dr. G and her staff usually respond the same day or the very next day. You really get the feeling that she cares. She never makes you feel like you have a dumb question. She does not have the doctor complex that you usually see form other doctors. She is not only the nicest doctor I know, she is one of the nicest people I have been fortunate enough to meet. Dr. G spends so much time one on one in the room with you that there is absolutely no feeling of being rushed whatsoever. You feel like you are catching up with a friend more than talking to a doctor. I wholehearted recommend Dr. Gertieson to anyone looking for the last doctor they will ever need. My only concern is that too many people will find out how wonderful she is...and I then have a problem getting an appointment. I am not one to visit the doctor for frivolous reasons, so when I requested an immediate last…read moreminute appointment there was an urgent need. My PCP was unavailable for an immediate appointment, so I opted for one of the other doctors as a fill-in. That was my first mistake. The nurse was nice, which is my reason for the single star, however my visit was unsettling. Dr. Isaac, who appears to be at the ripe old age of retirement, enters non-chalantly in his designer frames and skepticism as he asks what brought me in today. After explaining my initial symptom that caused concern, he then began to question whether I had experienced the symptom at the level of severity I proposed. After dismissing my issue as being simply stress related, I volunteered additional symptoms since I was never asked if I experienced any. By the end of the visit he ordered an EKG, suggested I may have Lupus, and wanted to refer me to a neurologist. while I do not find all of this necessary, I digress. Dr. Isaac should take care to remain empathetic, open, and ask probing questions of any patient that he sees. Treat me as you would your golf buddy or a poker bud when it comes to MY health. I'll ask my dad, who is also a MD btw, his thoughts on the assessment I received.

They do not submit the referrals for specialists until several days after being ordered by the doctor, and they have no problems with not calling you back to discuss any results or issues of any test that has been run. Yet, they demand they be notified well in advance of any scheduling and appointment changes needed - so they can fill that time slot with another paying patient. Then, once you are placed into an examination room (generally not less than 30 or more minutes past your appointment time) the actual doctor/s themselves never do anything other than enter the room, say hello, ask why you are there, and then write a ton of prescriptions. They never look into your ears, throat, eyes, or check your temperature, or reflexes. They never ask any questions about how you are feeling, what pains you may be experiencing, or how you sleep. It seems the main goal of this office is not to provide medical care, but to "get one patient in, get them out, and invoice their insurance company ASAP. It's subpar care from a subpar facility.

went in for an annual check-up and got a bill for an office visit that was a free annual check-up…read more I started the conversation and told the doctor I only wanted to talk about the physical...she understood this and then because my blood pressure was Dr Persuid refilled my blood pressure pils and I told her i was going to set an appointment with the rose all in a conversation and I get hit with a bill?????? isn't this an annual checkup!!!!! Don't go here if you want to be tricked in ways for them to steal your money! as I stated, I told the doctor I only wanted to discuss things due to the annual check-up! I'm glad I recorded this . They weren't able to pull my blood, and I don't even have a full blood report.. because now I. scared to go back, and they try to bill me!
