My car was drivable when I brought it in. After he worked on it, it was left undrivable, with parts unplugged, engine bars removed, and key components missing. When I took it to another mechanic, I showed them the receipts and parts I had purchased for the repair. The new mechanic pointed out that some of the old parts were still on the car meaning the new parts I paid for were never installed. That raised serious concerns: Did Linton keep the new parts for personal use and just take the money? I asked for a refund, and he only gave back $400 despite doing no real work and leaving my car in worse condition. I lost $1,100 and had to pay another shop to replace my engine properly. As a teacher with no second income, this was financially and emotionally devastating. I trusted him because he worked in a shop but that trust was a costly mistake. Please get a second opinion if you've had work done by Linton or plan to. I'm now requesting the remaining $1,100 refund, which is more than fair considering the damage and dishonesty. Don't let this happen to you.

They gate was still closed, so…read moreI left a typed note explaining that I wanted an HVAC diagnostic because the system motor was working, but it wasn't blowing either hot or cold air. I added that the actuator was moving and the heater hose was getting hot, but the air coming through on any setting was neither hot nor cold. So I wanted a diagnostic to figure out what was wrong. I also wrote that on their envelope before dropping my key in their box. Their lot was so packed, I had to park in an overflow lot across the street. By 11 AM, I hadn't heard from them, so I decided to give them a call to make sure they found my vehicle in the overflow lot and to confirm my notes. I called them 14 times between 11 AM and 3 PM and there was never an answer. Their voicemail message said to leave a message and they would respond within 24 hours. But I didn't have 24 hours. I needed my vehicle back the same day. I called an Uber to take me back there after 3 PM to find out what was going on and that's when I finally got a call. But I was already less than a block away. When I went in, they said they were calling to tell me exactly what I told them in my notes and when I made the appointment, that the AC wasn't working and they wanted to know if I wanted them to run a diagnostic. After 8 hours, they did nothing to my vehicle other than turn on the heat and AC and only told me it had the very same problem that I brought it in to have them diagnose. According to them, the appointment was just a placeholder and did not impact when vehicles are serviced, which defeats the entire point of an appointment. They said I should have told them if I needed my vehicle the same day, even though nobody was there when I dropped it off and nobody was answering the phones. As for the phone calls, they said they only had 1 person answering 5 lines and that's why none of my 14 calls over 8 hours were answered, and it was my responsibility to leave a message ... in spite of the fact that their voicemail said it could take them 24 hours to respond. I've been here before and the service was much better than it was today. Those days, I'd give them 5 stars. But the absolute minimum I need for someone servicing my vehicles is that they have someone to answer at least 1 of 14 phone calls, and that they pay attention to the reason I dropped my vehicle off in the first place.

Neither one of those things were fixed. When I pulled up I was asked what was wrong and to be done for the second time (first red flag). It took two whole days for Jack the scam artist to do anything to the car at all. What he did was the brakes (which were almost brand new to begin with), took one of my tires, and tell me to come back the next day to get a new tire after giving me one "with a bubble in the wall but it'll be ok for a couple days" even tho I never asked for that. The car still shakes and hesitates and is left way worse then to begin with. Not to mention it reeked of cigarettes as soon as I opened the door and took days to get out. I was told that there was a warranty on the brakes (which no proof of bc it was never on the receipt or anything) so I told my fiancé to reach out to see what can be done to fix it. When my fiancé reached back out to jack he was told that it was "fucking ridiculous" and blocked his number. Needless to say if I could give no stars I would.
