I was delighted with the experience I had with Pinellas Endodontics in St. Petersburg. I had to have a root canal done and my gum was swollen and extremely painful. Dr. Cordell was understanding and sympathetic, and explained the whole procedure to me ahead of time. The quality of care was 100%, he even called personally that evening to check on me. I had to get evaluated for a possible root canal and was referred here. I saw Corrina and Dr. Williams, who quickly told me that I *did* need a root canal, my first. They were AMAZING!! Not only were they professional, fast, super nice, and both VERY good at their jobs, I was done with the root canal on a tough tooth in 46 minutes! I simply cannot say how great this experience was. Too bad there is not a 0 rating. I was in extreme pain and the assistant told me she would have to do testing (hot/cold) to see which tooth it was. My dentist clearly identified the tooth on the referral form. I became upset as cold on a damaged tooth is excruciating. She said it was diagnostic. Instead of being a competent and compassionate provider, Dr. Williams marched in and told me "to find another provider" and motioned toward the door!!!!! I did and I am so grateful. If you need a root canal, bypass this place at all costs and go to Tampa Bay Endo in Saint Pete and see Dr. Broom. He saw the issue immediately on an X-ray. Painless from start to finish, so kind and efficient. I think Dr. Williams should go ahead and put a sign out front that says "go find another provider". I have to admit I'm one of those people who have an unnatural fear of dentists and was not happy when my regular dentist referred me to Dr. Williams for a root canal. I called to make an appointment and was able to book one within just a few days. I love their customer service as I was able to fill out all of my new patient forms online and not have to do them upon arrival. And I was called to confirm my appointment. I arrived a few minutes early and was taken to an exam room right away and within minutes Dr. Williams was introducing himself and getting to work. He talked me through the process, was really good about checking on my pain level and in no time we were done with the first portion of my work. To my surprise, I got a call from Dr. Williams the next day checking in. It was actually the doctor and not an assistant or office staff. All of my work was completed on the next visit. I saw Dr Gari at the Largo location for 2 unexpected root canals following crown lengthening. The tooth was high but they were not able to see me after 2 visits to the office. The Periodontist saw me but Endodontist would not. This traumatic bite for 2 weeks has flared my TMJ and has caused pain in other teeth. read more

Great place! I had a problem with a tooth, that previously was a root canal from another dentist 2 years ago. Dr. Williams explained what he would be doing, told me how long it would take, etc. It was even quicker than I thought. I am so impressed by the professionalism, the high quality customer service, and the great interpersonal skills of Dr Williams and his team. Everyone I encountered was upbeat, warm, and helpful. They identified my issue quickly, and were even able to work with a local specialist to have a severely abscesses molar, with a fractured root canal, extracted IN THE SAME DAY. I needed an emergency appointment and they were able to see me the same day. I was really nervous, but was put at ease. First, the dental assistant Corina made me feel comfortable with her friendliness and by explaining everything. Then Dr Whitaker made me feel at peace and relaxed. Two weeks ago I had a filling put in by my local dentist in Ohio. Then I came to St. Petersburg for a month. Of course the filling failed and I needed a root canal-tremendous pain last night and today. So, I contact d a local dentist who gave me their contact info. Incredibly, I called them at 9am today and they they got me in at 1pm. I got there a little early to do paperwork and at 1pm they took me into the examining room. At 2:03 I was standing in front of the receptionist-all done! No pain, no hassle. I am quite astounded. read more

I arrived on time for my appointment and was taken right into the exam room. I was having the second part of a root canal completed . The dental assistant prepared me for an x-ray and then I waited for the doctor. They gave me a topical anesthetic and then I waited for Dr. Williams. Dr. Williams started to put the needle in my mouth but apparently was unable to get the position that he wanted after three attempts. He then pushed his chair away and acted very frustrated and annoyed. I asked him if there was a problem. He never checked in with me to see how I was doing during the procedure and basically was very rude and standoffish and unprofessional. They took another x-ray after I was done. I asked if he would be going over it with me and I was told by the staff that he would just be reviewing in his office. This experience was totally different than it was the first time I went there. No one even called the next day to see how I was doing. read more
