a family run business (26 years so far) clearly run with pride. the staff is lovely and super helpful, the bathrooms clean, the site (20, tent only) was amazing: spacious, secluded, awesome fire pit. wood is delivered to the campsite (woo!) and golden bowl in fitchburg delivers (surprisingly hot and delicious). we will def be returning to this campground again.

We loved this campground. It was our first time with our new camper and Paul the owner was so helpful. He helped us back in, made sure we were all set up right, and checked in on us to make sure we were all set. Nice pool area and game room, clean, nice family atmosphere. He had a site on a brook and it was so peaceful. We will be back.

Came here for camping and had a lovely time! Running water and pretty views! Bit rough around the edges but for camping was great!!
Weirded out a bit by this one. Wasn't Camping - visiting someone camping in an RV. This is a drinking friendly camp ground so that can be listed as the one positive. Its cheap. another.. Its in a quiet and remote area but VERY close to major roadways - well at least ones that will take you to major roadways. They don't seem to have a limit on animals but they made a stink ... sorta when my dog's rabies papers went missing.. yet let me stay. The stream behind the sites was super low in the mid summer, so not too fun to take a mini hike but in the woods no less. Dated arcade is a good place to let kids with no smartphone kill some time. Avoid the pool.. they don't clean it... and my stepdaughter got a RAGING yeast infection almost immediately after swimming about 30 mins. read more

We loved the Pines! This was our first camping experience after buying a travel trailer, and I mentioned that to the women I made the reservation with. We got in late, after dark, and she had asked two men to stick around to help us back into our spot. We then had an issue with our slide, and one of them came over to see how he could help. Our site was along the stream, which was very low. My kids had an absolute ball playing in it! It was also near the playground, which they enjoyed. read more

I don't write poor reviews unless it bad. This place is that bad. The references to Deliverance is true. They are not big rig friendly. I got yelled at for disconnecting our tow at the office, where I was told on the phone to disconnect. The 50-amp plug was installed upside down so you could not use a surge protector. My family showed up to pick up my wife and I for dinner and they were charged a visitor fee of $15. Everything was closed. They were there less than 30 minutes. I tried to explain this to the bearded guy and he said I don't make the rules. Sleep is option as they partied all light long drinking and smoking pot. The very questionable long term residents made us very uncomfortable. This could be really nice quiet location. Very pretty area but not worth the $40 and $5 per night dog fee. read more

If your looking for a campground that has written rules Dogs on Leash at all times, and there are dogs running loose. Our terrier on a leash, was jumped on by a larger dog and pinned down. My husband had to break it off. Pet owner said his dog was only being friendly. Not growling and showing teeth. We reported to campground owner. His remarks were. WE'LL DOGS ARE DOGS. " WHEN asked about leash rule he said. "Rules are meant to be bent." REALLY. ...so we had paid for 8 days, And felt we did not want to stay where the rules mean nothing. We had been there 2 days. So we told him we wanted our money back or part of it. He got very ugly and said "your not getting s--- back.". After several attempts we finally left, if this your type of campground , feel free. But beware of language. ... read more

The way a family campground should be! Small, friendly, quiet and clean. Great mix of seasonal and tent capers. Decent activities to add to the weekend. Rec Hall is a relics museum in itself. Owners are super nice and down-to-earth. We will be back!! read more

This place deserves no stars AT ALL!!!!!! I went to go camping recently and was scared to get out of the car. It's a filthy trailer park.. I also thought it was weird how when I went to check in I got dirty looks from the workers and then I was told EVERY TENT SPACE WAS VACENT! I then was scared wondering why no one seems to want to camp here. Then realized that was I walked into was a old trailer park trying to make some extra money for saying they are a camp ground for the public. When they clearly ARE NOT... I laughed when I saw the 4.5 stars I'm very sad I got the wrong impression by these reviews !!! The pool has old random miscellaneous furniture around it.. looked like a dumping ground were people just throw old Furniture. The employee were nasty to us... WHISTLING AT ME TO STOP FROM LEAVING SO I WOULD STAY. I felt scared and unsafe there when I first arrived but then after all of that.. I was mortified. I left and didn't stop driving till I was far away from that area.. I then booked a hotel room 3 towns over. DON'T CAMP HERE YOU WILL NOT FEEL SAFE. read more

Small campground along a nice rocky stream. The campground is hilly roads are dirt so it gets muddy in the rain. They sell propane for your rig A small well stocked camp store with ice cream and snacks. A recreation hall stocked with games kitchen tables a tv. Paul the owner is great with first time campers. The place is great for relaxing in a pine forrest. A group tent area is right across the road from the store that has bathrooms. They have a big pool and a laundry. The showers are clean. Holidays feature a big bon fire. read more

I booked a site under the 10 day minimum cancelation requirement for this campground, I was never told there was a policy on this, I needed to cancel, my boyfriend broke up with me it was his camper and I would not be going obviously, I do not own camping equipment of my own. I called and the women on the phone was nice had feelings of somewhat and told me the policy and said she would give the message to the manager. This was 6 days before I was to show for my site...to say the least, I have never been treated like that in my life by a friendly campground ha ha...the manager on the phone told me the policy and was so demeaning it was incredible, he told me don't make your problem mine and that he would be charging me for the 3 days even though they had 6 days to fill the spot. The other words out his mouth I would not talk to any customer like this ever, I have been in Human Resource for over 20 years, he should be fired. Cant say enough about how rude and unfeeling he was. Unless you can make the 10 days don't book stuff happens. Life happens. They are as unfriendly as I have ever seen. Go to Pine Acres in Raymond...best ever!! read more

I stayed here and the manager was often drunk. The campers for sale are pretty beat up. The final straw for me was when Paul yelled at my children, scared them, and all without even notifying me and allowing me to correct them. My kids won't go back to this low budget horror movie scene wannabe. read more
