This is a great campground for dog friendly camping a little over an hour from home. We booked a back in site with full hook ups. The fire pit was awesome. I took a dip in the swimming pool and found it refreshing. Staff is super friendly and helpful. Camp store is well stocked (camper accessories available). They will deliver firewood and bags of ice (2 bag / 2 bundle minimum) right to your site on a golf cart! The bathrooms were large, clean and well stocked. Grounds are well maintained. Well, nice woodsy campground. They say they cater to large rigs.... Well we have a 40 foot 5 wheel and let me tell you. Getting into the place you bottom out. Then you go up hill to site, this site 86 was almost impossible for husband to get it. Yes it was wide enough and long enough but it was between two tight trees and a huge Boulder. The pool was directly across from the site and they have bushes and fence. It took several attempts and a lot of swearing. He is an experienced rv'r. This had him sweating. So unless they give you a better site I would not go there. Lots of things for groups to do, pool was closed and no discount for lack of amenities during the fall read more

This place only looks good on the outside. The owner is mean and very ugly at heart. When I first checked in the only thing he told me was how to get to the cabin and I had to figure out the rest myself. I had to ask where the bathroom was before he would even tell me. There was barely any instructions on how to stay safe and healthy in their premier campsite. Only what not to dos. They advertised as having a heated pool, I guess it is solar powered heat they are referring to, because the pool is nowhere near warm except during the day when it was 90 degrees out. The worst was the cabin. I was not told the cabin would emit such a strong chemical smell once you entered. Naturally you would air out - I opened the windows that had nets but the door has none, So the mosquitoes rushed in as soon as we opened the door and you don't even realized until at night when they started to feed on you. The "mattress" was dirty, and the mosquitoes were as if they hadn't eaten in years. Those mosquitoes are huge. I called the office but they never replied even after the next day. I had to drive home to sleep the last night. It was boring , small, even though it looked nice, you get so itchy because they won't treat the area around your cabin but shuffled a bunch of chemicals inside the cabin. Hurt you and the little ones more than the obese mosquitoes. If you want constant smelling of second hand smoke and grilling smoke, go there. If you want to hear constant loud trucks, train horns and violent motorbikes, go there. If you want to feed the bugs there, then by all means go there. The owner treated us like shit, because our lives don't matter. Just make sure you also schedule recovery days after the trip. read more

Spent this past weekend at this campsite and it was just ok. The spaces are very small compared to other campgrounds and they are really close to each other. There are so many mosquitoes here so get ready to put on bug spray every couple of minutes. The bathrooms are clean and spacious and they also have other amenities such as laundry, store, arcade, and you can rent movies. The campground claims the pool is heated but it was not. The good thing is that they are close to Boston and it was quiet at night. read more

This is a very nice campground. The staff are all very nice and the grounds are nicely kept. Our spot was right by the parking lot which actually was great. Turned out to be super private. It is filled with pine trees. Gives off the vibes of a true NE campground. Yes, there are a lot of mosquitos. Lots but that's inevitable when one is camping amongst the pines. The pool was heated which my kids enjoyed. Nice little dog park which was clean. We didn't see one pile of dog feces anywhere which shows the people staying here care. They do have small Cabins that look to have ac. Our RV spot was flat and level. Negatives would be the mosquitos (again par for the course) and being parked close to the road the sound of the big trucks going down the road. I have camped at Minute Man under both corporate ownership and private ownership, I have to say each experience has been different. The private owners were kind and caring and you could start to see the park declining over the years, then comes corporate KOA, they have all kinds of rules and charges, but they make the necessary improvements/repairs as they are able then another private owner and same result, now another corporate owner that has some really great plans from what we heard from the staff, there have been some ongoing projects already this summer, the new roads are so much easier on our rig! This campground is showing her age and in need of TLC but to those true campers like us, we still love the place. Can't wait to see you next year. Avoid this RV park. We are two disabled vets who love RV-ing. We made reservations at this RV park as part of our fall New England road trip. I even called 3 days prior to arrival to confirm our reservations and the length of our RV. When we arrived, we were given a spot that was too small and very unlevel. Finally, after 30 minutes of working with the guy at the front desk, he reluctantly gave us another space that was almost as bad - rocky, hilly, and short. The spaces are so close together that we could hear every normal conversation in the RVs next to us. There were dogs barking at all hours as well. The daily rates at this park ranged from $43.20 to $78.85 for the entire week of our stay, which is just ridiculous for this place. I do not recommend this RV park to anyone. Poor sites, very cramped, too expensive, incompetent staff. RV-ers are better of spending the night in a Walmart parking lot. The also advertise a military discount which we did not receive. read more

spent last night at this campground and I must say it was one of the worst experiences for our money. They charged $100.01 for a pull thru site with 50 amp service . No concrete pad , spot was so small we could barely fit in and the manager was a jerk.. I originally booked and they gave me a 30 amp site and whenI told them I needed 50 amps they said they would have to charge another 7.50 and I said your kidding me! Very expensive and disapointing . OK, serious update right here. I'm moving this place down two stars. Take that! No, but as a reminder to myself.....this place does not treat for mosquitoes. Good for you, place. Yay environment! But being covered in deet and seeing my kids absolutely covered in bug bites is miserable. And the campground really isn't small kid friendly. The playground isn't great, there's NO activities, and may the weather gods be on your side when you stay because there is nothing to do at the campground with them if it rains. read more

This place is a camp site for RV camping. Yes they do allow for tent sites, but it is not the kind of camping I am accustomed to doing. For camping with my family it is nice to be close to civilization if something comes up and someone wants to go in from the rain, but it is also not ideal to be able to hear highway traffic while camping. It is also close to an air force base and you can hear planes throughout the day, and there is a train nearby that you can here once in a while. Any one of those things is ok but altogether it can be a little much. Normally we camp at state parks. Here in contrast in addition to a slightly higher price (and they charge for parking if you have any visitors) you do get some improvements. The bathrooms are very clean, well lit and are cleaned every day. There is a pool that you can use, a playground, an arcade, and a TV room. The front office is open from 8am to 8pm where you can get firewood, some small groceries, and many other conveniences like matches. They also have a coin operated laundry and the staff is very helpful and friendly. Overall it is nice to camp out, and wake up in the forest, but I usually prefer a little more separation between myself and the highway sounds while I'm camping. read more

We complied with testing. (Neg) we arrived to Massachusetts within 72 hours as requested. We camped inside our RV at a family members property in Massachusetts for 1 day. Then stayed at a KOA Campground in Northampton Massachusetts for 2 days. Upon arrival to Boston Minuteman campground, the terrified owners would NOT let us stay. Insisted with no papers for the night in-between, we had to go. WE LIVE IN A RV! Incredibly rude and ridiculous. Nothing in the covid law that demands the proof they were requiring. They made up their own rules and didn't believe us. read more

We reserved several sites months ago and when we got here they put someone in between us. We tried to change it and they told us they had a 30ft trailer coming in and didn't have anywhere else to move them. These people showed up w tents so we had to set up near road due to the little ones having to cross the street to get w the rest of our group. QUIET TIME is 10 they had us put water on fire and you can't have music or conversations after. I have been camping in several states and this place was the worst I've ever been to kids in summer camp have more freedom! RUDE Could have been a frequent place for several families but the employees are rude it didn't make for a good first impression by any means. Everything the guy did he had to check w her assuming they must be married. I will be attending real campgrounds from this point on camping is about spending time around the fire w friends and here that has to stop shortly after sunset. Their park--they get to make the rules. But next time, I'll spend my money at a different park. We need a base camp for our RV while visiting daughter and son in law who live in Boston. It cost $14 just for them to join us at the RV for dinner, while using none of the amenities of the park, and even had to park at the office and walk to our site. Staff were totally inflexible and said that no visitors could drive in even just to pick us up. I told the morning clerk that I was going to post this negative review, and he said "Maybe you shouldn't have your daughter come to visit." Place is cozy. Not ideal for bigger rigs especially larger travel trailers. Very difficult to get in and out. Very small sites. One of the quietest camps we have been to which is great. Pool is NOT heated even though it claims to be. And it's in the shade on longest day of yr by 4:30. Wifi only exists at the clubhouse/check in area. If you need it for work/school it's no bueno. Staff isn't very friendly to deal with but that's most campgrounds because they are dealing with people needing things 24/7. We would come back because it's so quiet and cozy. Friends came to visit us at the camp and followed all their rules: registering at the desk, parked in our open parking spot and all. Then came 9:30pm and the staff walk up to our site shouting they should have been gone by now: visitors most be out by 9:30pm on Saturday. Our friend asked if he could stay until the curfew (10pm) as he still felt his wine from earlier diner, even offering to pay the full day fee, but they just wanted them out of there! The argument lasted until curfew, at which point our friend was sober and could leave safely! Conclusion: tomorrow we'll have diner and campfire at our friend's place and we will never come back at this campground ever!!! read more

Staff is great. Lots of amenities. Laundry, store, arcade, pool, you can rent movies, pool table. The smell alone can get a 5 star review. Spots are tight but cozy. They are able to fit the largest rigs I've seen. Some spots have pull through which is convenient. This place has stayed pretty packed the week we have been here which says a lot about the place. The scenery was beautiful and the people were very nice but the campsites leave much to be desired. The pads have gravel to park the campers on which is fine but the rest is pretty much mud. Area the picnic table sets is the same. Seems pretty primitive for the price. Only trash receptacle is at the main office which is some distance away from the campsites. Again not a huge deal but inconvenient. Would I stay here again, no. Not unless they invested some time and money into improving the campsites. read more

If it were possible to give zero stars I would do that. We pulled into the Minuteman Campground around 5:30 pm today after a full day of driving. My husband and I have been driving across the country from California with our two sets of parents to move us to Boston. We were excited to finally reach our final destination after two weeks of staying in random RV parks and truck stops...that is until we walked into the office of the Minuteman Campground. As I go to check in I find out they only allow four adults per campsite. Per their explanation if they allowed six adults it would turn into a rowdy party. This would make sense if we were a group of 20 year olds, but alas, we are a quiet and completely exhausted group of weary travelers with a median age of 40. I understand the fine print in the confirmation explained there were only 4 people allowed for each site and it was our fault as we totally missed that but as we tried to figure out different options the manager/owner snapped at us saying there was no way she could make an exception. Was there a tent site we could add on? Could we stay in a cabin that inexplicably allows 6 adults anyway (because obviously people don't get rowdy and loud in cabins?!) Could we consider some of the adults as kids since there were other sites with 7 people (4 adults and 3 kids. Again, this isn't rowdy or loud?!) She was uncompromising in every possible way. This may look like a nice campground but if the owner/manager is this rude to customers it's clear she doesn't need the business or have respect for anyone, including her uncomfortable employees who stood by silently as she remained unwavering. Initially she refused to give us a refund for our three night stay but as one other person in our party came in to speak with her nicely about this again she yelled (as her other two employees quietly watched on) saying "I'm sick of this type of thing happening every weekend. Just take the deposit!" Cash in hand, we walked out irate and spent the next hour trying to find a campground in the area on a busy Friday night. Welcome to Massachusetts! read more

We stayed a week at this campground while visiting the Lexington-Concord area and found it to be a beautiful setting and wonderful campground. Each site is surrounding by tall trees with lots of shade. The campground has great amenities and is close to town while giving the feeling of being out in the country. It is a nice campground. Not too far off the beaten path. Not much to do there but swim. You have to drive a ways to find anything to do. The grounds are clean. The downsides are: The trains that have to blow their horns all night and the mosquitoes. I know the owners/operators of the campgrounds cannot do anything about the train whistles. About the mosquitoes; I am not sure where the wet lands are but they have to be there somewhere! They should really spray. It stinks to come home with more than a couple of bites. This is a great place to stay. The staff is super friendly and helpful, the facilities are clean and very well kept. The sites are good size but also pretty close together, which is more and more common with campgrounds these days but it still annoys me. The playground, rec room, and pool are all great amenities for the kids. You can hear trains but it's not constant or super noticeable unless you're really listening for it. My family and I stayed at this campground for a week and found it to be absolutely great. The camp is super well maintained, and easy to get around in. All around I would highly recommend this for its great staff, awesome location, and cleanliness. Two notes of caution, 1) bring lots of mosquito repellent and citronella candles, and 2) just go to the Dunkin Donuts a mile down the street, the other one closer is just not good. read more

Traveling in a 38 foot coach we stayed 11 nights in a site for big rigs. The site we had was level. If you have a dog there is ample area to walk. Our satellite did not work here (to many large trees to get reception). If you are looking for a quiet and clean park where you can sit outside and relax... go here. A quick bit of background so that you know where I am coming from. I got interested I. RVing a couple of years ago. When we decided to s sell the house we chose to buy an Rpod 177 and go full time until our new house was ready. We spent 3 months at BMMC. We stayed a few days at one other RV park in Vermont, and we checked out a few others. I rate BMMC excellent. The staff was always friendly, helpful, and quick to take action if there was ever a problem. They took great pride in solving any issue before any camper even noticed. While I would never willingly eat off of any bathroom floor, if I was forced to do so I would quickly choose the BMMC bathrooms. These facilities were always kept clean and fresh. The only possible exception was on rainy days when campers were constantly tracking in small amounts of mud. Short of expecting a 24/7 presence I can't fault BMMC for that though. The campsites are always checked for litter or anything wrong before being opened to the next customer. The grounds contain many trees. You will not feel like you are camping in a big field, or parking lot. If you have a larger rig you will appreciate the (limited number of) pull through campsites. A few caveats: remember the trees, lots of trees. RVers get a golf car escort to their site. Inexperienced drivers should use care to avoid clipping a tree. With a small amount of care this should not be a problem, but recklessness could cost you in damage to your rig. Always use a spotter when backing into your site. Make sure to look up and check overhead clearances as well. Furthermore very low slung cars might want to use extra care. There are rocks at the edges of some sites that may cause unpleasant surprises to the careless. (But then again, how many RVers drive low slung sports cars?) I do not want to overstate the difficulties of driving these campgrounds. I saw a great many very big rigs of all types, moving in and out of the campground without any difficulties at all. Other amenities include a coin op laundry, that is also kept very clean. The dryer lint filters are cleaned daily. Even the washing machines get a wipe down. There is a camp store with competitive prices on oft needed RV odds and ends. Propane is available. There is an area set aside for games like Bocci, Horseshoes, end others. The pool is kept in excellent condition (as a former lifeguard, and pool owner, I know what I am talking about.) The other campers we met were always friendly. I never saw anyone driving faster than the 5mph limit. There are many restaurants in the area, and the train station to get to Boston is only 10 minutes away. In summary, this is an extremely well run campground. I highly recommend it. read more

GREAT experience. Beautiful setting, squeaky-clean bathrooms, HOT water in the showers and it comes out in quantity - rinsing shampoo out of your hair is EASY, ladies! Our experience is that the staff is incredibly accommodating - we've been here three nights and there has not been a single glitch - of any kind. Including their assistance with a personal issue that came up - something needed my input back in California, and they helped me take care of it expeditiously. This has nothing to do with camping, or RVs, or merchandise at their "store". They've gone out of their way to be kind and helpful in any way possible. We've been out a little over two weeks from California to Boston, and this is the VERY BEST campground we've been in. Highly recommended. read more

We visited friend that was staying at this place. Long story short: read the rules and don't forget your watch. Don't expect flexibility with the rules and if you have guest coming, don't expect them to enjoy a diner with you on Saturday night... there is an early curfew and it doesn't matter the situation. They will have to be out. We did the mistake of not watching the time, my husband always wait at least an hour after a glass of wine.... Well the management did not appreciate and it escalated pretty quickly. It wasn't the best example of dealing with customer nor communication. read more

great place to sta.ykinda tight spaces and you have to pay extra for cable but they do have wifi.i t was fairly peaceful and the guy was very helpful helping us park our rv with a tow attached. didnt like that they called us at 1130 to c if were leaving yet when were well aware of the 12 pm checkout they kinda rush people up which is understandable if you are over 12 and still there but that makes people feel rushed.all in all a nice place to stay even though it was shitty and rainy out. read more
