Within approximately 90 minutes I discovered the hot tub was not operational, and a temporary pump that had been placed in the water to prevent freezing. As we had not been notified prior to check-in that the hot tub was out of service, I contacted SCMR immediately. A repair technician came the next day and confirmed the unit required a replacement part. We were informed repairs would not be completed during our 3 night stay. SCMR offered a partial refund of rental price and tub cleaning fees contingent upon signing a "Guest Inconvenience Form," which includes a requirement stating, "guest agrees not to post any negative statements online or in any forums." I declined to sign this agreement because it restricts the ability to provide truthful feedback. As a result, no refund has been issued, including the $57 "hot tub service fee" for this contracted amenity that was unavailable for the entire stay. I will not be using Summit County Mountain Retreats in the future, and encourage others to learn from my poor customer service experience.

We notified the management right away and no one came until Wednesday (5 days after check in ). Finally HOA Dave and Grant has acknowledged the issue and quickly tried to fix it but still nothing. But Dave was able to get Hot water going and gave us a portable heater bc no heat, he said an electrician will be coming 1/23, 5 days after we have checked in wtf! Today is Thursday 1/23 as I'm writing this and still have no heat from the baseboard and only using a space heater HOA gave us. I will be cautious when renting here!

My aunt, who booked the room, was not very impressed at the room itself, considering the cost, but I think it is reasonable considering it's in Breck(which is a pricey town). The only negative about the room is that it had a musky smell when we came in, but my aunt thinks of everything and saved us with febreeze! The pullout bed was very comfortable. Everything was clean. The fireplace was easy to handle. There is a dishwasher in the room and laundry machines outside of the room. I wouldn't mind staying here again for the "ski-in, ski-out" experience"!

No prior notice or warning was given to us and we were not told that we had to register our vehicles. (It was posted in the house that we had 4 outdoor parking spaces.) After hours of phone calls (not getting any information from anyone) and trying to get it all sorted out, we talked to a neighbor who lives here and they told us that the association was supposed to register our vehicles when we got our airbnb. So not only did we lose the better part of a day of vacation but we also had to pay the $144 to get the vehicle unbooted. Think twice before booking here or come with an extra $150 in case you get booted.

The Colorado Booting company LLC, booted my vehicle and informed me that I must pay $144 to unboot. I explained that I live here and will be for 6 more weeks. I am not illegally parked, My rent is paid, my only crime was not "clicking through to the end of the vehicle registration page. They said take it up with the HOA or the home-owner. Summit county sheriffs office doesn't deal with private-property issues. Now, do you think it is right to hold private property hostage, and for ransom due to a mis-registration of your vehicle?

There were 7 of us and the condo could have accommodated at least 1 more person comfortably. It is walking distance to downtown but tucked in so you are definitely in the trees. I would definitely recommend this place if you have a few more people in your group and want to have a full kitchen. Perfect for a weekend get-a-way!!
