    Our vacation with our family started out well until waking up one day and realizing that one of our…read morevehicles got booted in the middle of the night after only 2 days of being here. No prior notice or warning was given to us and we were not told that we had to register our vehicles. (It was posted in the house that we had 4 outdoor parking spaces.) After hours of phone calls (not getting any information from anyone) and trying to get it all sorted out, we talked to a neighbor who lives here and they told us that the association was supposed to register our vehicles when we got our airbnb. So not only did we lose the better part of a day of vacation but we also had to pay the $144 to get the vehicle unbooted. Think twice before booking here or come with an extra $150 in case you get booted.

The Colorado Booting company LLC, booted my vehicle and informed me that I must pay $144 to unboot. I explained that I live here and will be for 6 more weeks. I am not illegally parked, My rent is paid, my only crime was not "clicking through to the end of the vehicle registration page. They said take it up with the HOA or the home-owner. Summit county sheriffs office doesn't deal with private-property issues. Now, do you think it is right to hold private property hostage, and for ransom due to a mis-registration of your vehicle?
