We went with them, and the final cost was $19,500. Both quotes had a 50-year warranty, and the only differences were that Vaillancourt put a 4' higher layer of the neoprene (I think) barrier, and they used Owens Corning shingles. Even though I do not know the names of name-brand shingles, I am 100% sure that Queen City Roofing also used an excellent brand, if for no other reason than they do not want to come back to do repairs. Anyway, those two little differences were not worth $15,000!! I also recommend using their recommended finance company as they were much easier to get what amounts to a high-dollar personal loan, than through my bank, for only 1% higher interest rate. Anyway, when they finally did the job, I was worried about how many nails would be left on the ground. Well, they did an incredible cleanup job. Based on the quotes I mentioned, you can imagine we have a very large roof, and so far, I have found 6 nails. They had 12 guys working that day, and did the whole roof in one day. They started at 7 a.m., and were done by 4:30! I cannot recommend them enough.

I brought this to owner Christopher Champagne's attention. He assured me this was fine and wouldn't affect the seed germinating, and he would 'stand behind his work'. Weeks later less than 10% had grown. Multiple calls went unreturned, when contact was finally made Mr. Champagne asserted he was 'done with the job' and nothing further would be done.  Mr. Champagne is dishonest and lacks integrity and you surely should not hire his company to do hydro seeding. I asked him for a contract, and he never did send me one. I think that he had other jobs, probably paving ones that would give him more money, versus a sealcoating job. I called him another time and left a message of which it was not returned. He should at least have had the decency to tell me that he could not follow up on his promise. I finally resorted to calling other companies in late July and early August; but I feel that by waiting for Henry, I missed out on other companies scheduling my job this Summer. THE PAST 2024 MOWING SEASON: The initial phone conversation and in person meeting were both…read morepositive. Then it was downhill after that. My yard needs lots of landscaping upgrades so I was happy to have the owner come out and look things over. My immediate need was lawn mowing and trimming for the summer with adding in some large and small projects. The owner came and we walked my small yard. He took pictures and I was given a quote for the mowing. It was reasonable and I felt positive about moving forward. Then when they came earlier than expected to mow, I was sure I made the right choice. It is always nice to come home from work to a freshly cut lawn. But with this 1st cut, the loose cut grass remained, not raked, bagged or in the expected grass catcher. My bad for not asking as that is something that was just automatically done with my last lawn professionals. A few days later I was walking the property and found that on one side of my house the grass/weeds were overgrown and had been missed on the mowing day. I also found that a section behind the house was left untouched as well. Also found was a lawn decoration that had been mowed down and broken. If I had know they were coming it is something I would have removed. It wasn't expensive but it showed a disregard for my property. The fact that it wasn't mentioned is what bothered me. I texted the owner about the unmowed areas and also mentioned the lawn ornament and a few other things that I noticed had happened when the mowers came through. The owner texted me back and said bagging & dumping would be an additional $10.00 per mow. And to mow the other side of my house, which is actually just a small buffer between me and my neighbor, would be an extra $10.00. If you come out and spend as much time with me walking & discussing a property as small as mine, and you give me a quote afterwards, I don't expect an immediate price increase of $20.00 after just one mow. I moved on to another lawn professional whose quote was the same as my original quote from Globe Green. $20.00 per mow less, with glass clippings automatically removed with their mower and no areas of this small yard left unmowed. AND, the price stayed the same for the season.

It's nearly impossible to find this kind of service in today's world. - We had a way overgrown bunch of foundation plantings so big that the painters weren't sure how to place their ladders. Northeast came in with heavy machines and in three days removed the bushes roots and all and replaced them with elegant little boxwoods and rhodies. All with everything restored to better than normal around the house. - Our lawn had developed some really ugly dead patches which seemed to be growing larger over a two year period. The lawn chemical service we had just wasn't working. Will Parris from Northeast came over, diagnosed fungus, did a treatment and restorative aeration, compost and overseed. The results were spectacular - the lawn is better than it ever was! - They've been mowing our lawn all summer very dependably and professionally. I had been mowing too short, probably part of the dead patch problem. The mowers were careful with the reseeding and were adept at handling the peculiarities of our property layout. - Our leaves haven't fallen yet and it's Thanksgiving. They're going to hold off on the Fall cleanup until early December to accomodate this. In short, highly recommended.
