It was 9 pm, we were hungry and pinhead pizza was right across the street from our air bnb - the rest is history. We ordered a medium (12 inch) pinhead's classic pizza (15 euro) through the website, which was convenient, and it was ready in about 15 minutes. I was NOT impressed with the quality of this pizza, especially for the price paid. I could easily count each of the toppings on less than two hands. The toppings did not look fresh at all; the pineapple was shriveled and tasted ancient. The crust was thin but probably was the best part of this entire pizza. There was barely any cheese, sauce, meat or any other toppings - it was scarce! I would not recommend ordering a pizza from here, the quality (or lack of) is not worth the price (15 euros is not cheap). read more

Pizza is trash, barely any toppings on it, pizza has no flavor to it, sauce was spread on very thin, it's like you're eating cardboard. Customer service was good! Not a good place for pizza, haven't tried the burgers though. You don't get enough for what you pay. read more

Pinheads Pizza has the formula right. For years they've offered great fastish food at a good price. Their pizzas are made to order with fresh, tasty ingredients. They also do excellent chips (a rarity for a pizza place) as well as other food such as baguettes and sandwichs. You can eat-in in the cafe style atmosphere and admire the variety of pictures mostly related to film, although some are just funny and interesting. Of course in pride of place is a picture of Pinhead himself (you know the lad from Hellraiser with the pins in his head?? Who knew he's open a pizza place?). You can also get take out and they do deliveries as well. It is in the deliveries that Pinheads loses a star! For some reason the delivery staff are hit and miss. A lot of the time it's fine but other times they expect you to wait on your doorstep or to go and find them instead of the other way round. On one memorable occasion I had to walk down my street to a postbox to the deliverer's car because they claimed to be unable to find my house. However this wouldn't stop me ordering from them... the food is really that good! read more

My best friend lives just around the corner from this place needless to say this is out go to hangover spot - we actually go here for dinner sometimes as well for their steak sandwich . Outside it gives off the impression of being something special. The decor is, well, original. The bf and I tried the spicy beef as per a recommendation here and were really not happy with it. It tasted like processed meat and wasn't really interesting. The price was fine, and the guy who took our order was nice enough, but the fact that the menu shares items with a chipper means that pizzas aren't the full focus of the place, and we could feel that. Pinheads is one of the first pizza places I can remember ordering from back in the early 90's, back when I was a youngster watching Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and pizza was a real treat on a Sunday night. I ordered from here tonight via their simple but effective site. Plenty of offers at very good prices. Food was delivered hot and on time by a friendly driver. We ordered pizza, garlic bread, chips and chicken tenders and everything was really delicious and well prepared. I will definitely be ordering again soon. I lived across the road from this Pinheads Pizza on South Circular Road one year when I was in college and I discovered their amazing pizzas and their even more amazing garlic chips. They are just divine! So bad for you of course, but such an indulgence! Everything they make is pretty delicious in fact and not only do they do eat in and take away, they also do deliveries. I have ordered from them once or twice over the years and I've been waiting a little too long for the food, but having said that it's so fab when it comes it's nearly worth getting impatient for! read more

Used to work and live right beside here. You don't see many relaxed pizza places like this round Dublin with ample seating (barring the big chains) which is a nice change. Pizza is good with a nice thin base and ready in a flash. Weekly deals change all the time and are usually very good value ! read more

Decided to try Pinheads after reading about their giant pizza in the news last week. Ordered half & half pizza tonight. Base was hard like cardboard, tasted like a bad frozen pizza, very disappointing, we ate some of the toppings and put the rest in the bin. Waste of money. read more

NEVER AGAIN!!! Ordered my pizza online using the website at 19:45 and was so disappointing. Website gave option of selecting toppings with a special comment section for any additional instructions. We left a note to only put certain ingredients on a certain side. When the pizza arrived 1 hour and 15 minutes later, the driver didn't have the drinks and offered to bring them back. When we checked the pizza it was the wrong order. When we rang back the girl who answered the phone was EXTREMELY rude and told us that we were wrong and that if we found the website too difficult to use maybe we should just ring next time instead. There was no offer to fix their error and to insinuate that we weren't capable of using their website was was unacceptable. Not great pizza and terrible customer service. read more

Tried to order from here on friday night. The guy who answered the phone was incredibly rude. His tone was blunt and he seemed quite put out by the fact that he had to take an order. When i asked if I could order for delivery he cut me off before i could finish asking for my number. He then proceeded to ask me for my address and when I told him where i was based he said he didnt know where that was and that they dont deliver there....even though its only 10 minutes away. Then he hung up. Shockingly bad customer service and if you'd like to order from them i'd recommend ordering online so you dont have to deal with the staff directly. the whole experience left me feeling like I should be sorry for trying to order from them. We use this place every so often as a bit of a treat, its usually ok its cheap and does the job usually. Not a place I would got out of my way to review but after this never again. I would usually not complain about a bit of a wait but (2 Hours) HELLO the first hour passed I called only to be told that my order was not on the system and then as if by magic they found it and I said o.k and was assured we would get it in the next 20-25 mins. Not a chance another hour and 10 minutes and the knock came, so I thought well at least its here the pizza was dreadful hardly any toppings the cheese was not melted properly how this is done is beyond me but Pinheads can do BAD spectacularly well. We were all starving but the topped gooey fries and the pizza thing went in the bin. There were 5 of us here and everybody felt the same about this POOR SERVICE /QUALITY what a shame The service and food were so bad my friends who are pretty easy going people really felt ripped off by the whole experience.
