Our last supper in Paris! After the Chateau de Versaille, we changed and went exploring around Canal St-Martin. My mothers guide book suggested this place. They said you can order your pizza, go sit down along the water, and they will deliver it to you. They recognize you by giving you a large pink balloon. Since it was raining we didn't get to do that. This is a pizza place with little seating but it wasn't too busy when we stopped by. I ordered the gandhi pizza and it was delicious. It had spinach, and indian spices, and cheese. I barely had room to finish the pizza on my own, the portions are pretty big. Wait time was about 15 minutes, not too bad. I was very satisfied with the meal. read more

After along day of walking and museums we were tired and hungry. We ran across this place as we were looking for an open place to eat and decided to give it a try. It was a small establishment with probably seating for 15. The staff was friendly and accommodating with substitutions. One thing to note is that this place is organic and uses top quality ingredients. The pizza came out and we are them the Italian style, fork and knife. The flavors were amazing. I got a simple margherita pizza called The Dante. It was delicious. When a pizza place can conquer the margherita pizza they are doing well. My husband got a pizza with figs and rocket salad on it. He loved it. This is definitely a place I'd come back to and suggest to friends. read more

Pink Flamingo is a 2-3 minute walk from Musee Picasso so if your looking for a nearby meal look no further. Pink Flamingo is a small pizza joint with 15ish seats. Their menu is very creative and they only use organic flour/sauce. We ordered the Obama Pizza to share because.. well, Murica! The Obama pizza has ham and pinnacle chutney to represent his birthplace Hawaii. It is a great take on Hawaiian pizza and that's saying a lot because I'm not a usual fan of Hawaiian pizza. The chutney is very good, much better than regular sliced or canned pineapple. For dessert we ordered the Nutella pizza. It was rather plain just Nutella on fresh pizza dough with peanuts. The place has a great vibe and pizzas run 10€ to 15€. We visited in winter but we heard that during the summer they give you a pink ballon when you order. You walk across the street to the park and when your pizza is ready they deliver it to you in the park. How cool! read more

Oh Pink Flamingo. How can I describe how much I love you? Writing a Yelp review might go some way to explaining. The restaurant itself is tiny and divey and covered in graffiti. You share tables with strangers and the music is loud. And I loved it. I went for the Cantona which was a cheese feast and my other half went for the Aphrodite, which has grilled aubergine slices and hummus. Hummus... On pizza... Is the most delicious thing of all time. Mine was delicious but next time, I'll be having the Aphrodite. The staff are lovely too, kind enough to speak French to me even with my awful French and English to my boyfriend. It's full of hipsters in tight trousers and ridiculously handsome men and I was in my element! read more

We honestly didn't know what to expect (really? You want to waste a meal on pizza? In FRANCE?) but....we were craving the 'za, and this spot was walking distance from our Airbnb. To our surprise, we loved it! The staff was insanely nice and super patient. And the food turned out to be delicious--so much so that we came back one more time on our final night. Pink Flamingo was great! My friend and I brought a group of about 15-20 students who are all new to Paris and we went not knowing what to expect since we hadn't made a reservation. Thankfully, the man who helped us was so kind and we had such great service. The pizza is delicious and each one has an unexpected ingredient (or ingredients) which makes Pink Flamingo a fun place to go when you want pizza, but with a little twist or something more than pepperoni. Luckily, we brought our large group relatively early on in the evening because as it got later more and more people came in either for whatever tables were available or take-out. read more

I can't remember ever having a fig pizza but it was one of the best pizzas ever. The Basquiat is very popular regular pizza ingredients plus Gargonzola and figs. You really need to try it. The place here in the Paris 3E area is so cute. Very small and lively. I ordered a pizza and was told it would be 15 minutes so I walked around to a couple other shops on the block and after just 10 minutes a young man from the Pink Flamingo greeted me on the street with my pizza. What? Yes they saw me walking around and when the pizza was ready they came out of the shop and hand delivered the Zuh. Well done Pink Flamingo. You guys rock! This is a great place to get Pizze in the Marais. The price is reasonable (16 euro max for a personal pizza) and the pizza is very unique and great. The atmosphere is fun and lively, you can even dine in a van! I had the l'almodover. Plenty of chorizo and chicken. Some shrimp and almost no mussels. I was hoping for a lot more of the latter 2. Pizza had great spice and flavor with everything coming together well. Chorizo was a little overpowering to the other ingredients. Crust was thin and crispy. Generous portion. I ate it all but it was more than plenty and I am a big eater. I also tried the La Ghandi and L'aphrodite. Both were very tasty and interesting. La Ghandi was my personal favorite, spinach sag was the base with mozzarella and baba ganoush to top it off. Overall this place has very unique pizza and is a must try when looking for a fun bite to eat. read more

I love "The Che" from Pink Flamingo. In addition to the usual ingredients of tomato sauce and cheese (which are great all by themselves), I love the addition of marinated pork. I'm not sure exactly what kind of pork it is, which in America would probably mean it was made from unspeakable dregs and disgusting parts, but in France, I just say "pas de problem." The pork is marinated in oil, lime, onions and coriander, which is more spice than most meals in France. C'est délicieux! read more

Pink Flamingo is the place to go when you're looking for something a little less conventional. Sure they do offer basic pizzas such as the Margharita, but you don't come here to get basic! Try one of their more interesting pizzas such as the Ho Chi Mihn, which is topped with green curry, shrimp, chicken, and crushed peanuts, or the Ghandi, topped with saag paneer and babaganoush. I've been here three times. This place is a small hole in the wall Parisian pizza place. The pizza though is nothing short of very unique flavors that somehow work. I would love to have more time to explore the menu. I have had le che with marinated pork. The real winner for me was the duck, apple, and goat cheese pizza. Very good pizza restaurant in the most hipster area of the capital. I love de decoration, especially in the restroom. Pizza are incredibly tasteful and served very fast. The waiters are also very nice and smiling ! Also they have a good selection of beers and wines. The place is quite small and always full so go there early and not more than 3 or 4 as you might wait a bit. I will definitely go back next time I'm around and want to eat a good pizza! read more
