Food was amazing! So amazing we ate here for dinner and came back the next day for lunch. The pizza sauce was incredible and honestly could have eaten it without toppings because it was just so good. The Burrata esotica was not what we expected - basically Burrata over a mountain of avocado. It was good but a little too much avocado for me; I would have liked it more with tomato or something. The Tagliere Iovine was delicious. All the meats and cheeses and olives were incredible and went well with their homemade focaccia. Service was excellent. After visiting the Louvre, we were hungry and sought after a place for dinner. I did some research and realized a pizza place was around us. As vegetarians, and especially starting the day after an overnight flight, we wanted to wrap the night up with some good food. Fortunately, we were able to be seated without reservations, but it was quite busy. We knew what we wanted pretty quickly: Margherita D.O.P. & the Vegetariana with mozzarella. Both pizzas were very tasty and easy to eat. The dough wasn't heavy and it was very tasty. The three of us easily split both pies. Note that the vegetariana pie doesnt originally come with cheese and the mozzarella is basically a ball of cheese in the middle. Was fine with us, but a general FYI. Service was pretty quick and prompt. At 26 EUR for both pies, that's kind of a steal. You can't get that in the U.S. My biggest regret was not taking any photos of the food. read more

We are visiting from California! we walked 4 miles for pizza and we absolutely inhaled every bite of it. Super fresh and absolutely delicious pizza. We loved the tiramisu. Started with one and ended with four. The host are super gracious and super friendly. They have a lot of vegetarian options with lots of veggies on it. It's a super cozy place. read more

We stopped by after being exhausted and hungry touring the Louvre. It's a bit of a walk from there but well worth it if you prefer avoiding typical tourist places. The vegetarian pizza and bruschetta were both tasty. Service was friendly and quick so I would recommend. Ambience is nice and casual, great for a nice lunch. read more

Having heard and read great reviews of Lovine's we decided to give it a try and we were so glad we did ... As we entered we were warmly greeted .... The menu is small but the selection is plentiful .... We ordered draft Peroni beers that were delicious !!! for Pizza we order a 4 cheese one, a calzone, and the house specialty of cheese with pricutto and it was amazing .... Service was great ... they spoke perfect English, and Italian .... and menus given to us were in English ... Easy to find and prices were very good ... dinner for 4 with beers was 125 euros Loved it !!! read more

This place was great. Great food. Great service. I had just flew in from the US, I was exhausted and just wanted a good meal. I was a little nervous because I didn't speak and French and nobody spoke English. However, they were all so friendly and accommodating. I can't tell you how much it meant to me. My wife and I were on vacation in Paris and did a Yelp search and Iovine's came up. I ordered the Marinara pizza with anchovy and other toppings, just amazing. The crust in Europe is perfectly done and without the cheese on this pizza, the sauce really comes out. Our server was super nice, and the Peroni beer went well with the pizza. Sooooo good. No wonder why so many locals were there! The beginning bread was fluffy and delicious. The salad we ordered to start was super fresh! Came with a cheese bread. Love the addition of the spray balsamic on the table and of course the fresh EVOO! Our pizzas were just amazing. Super thick crust and thin center, but not watery by any means. I ordered the Tuna (tomato sauce based) and my husband ordered the Pesto Mortadella and added Jamon. They also provide a spicy oil on the table - great addition! This is not just the best pizza in Paris but also one of the best restaurants. They import everything from Italy - cheese, cold cuts, meats, san marzano tomate. It is Napoli style made to order. Had a great time with Miko as our host. We even had a couple limoncello on the house - saluti! Definitely go again and also check out their other place - Caterina for pizza & pasta. 5/5 on price, service, authenticity & flavor. Pro tip #1 - they do special orders so you can ask to mix up, load up, etc. Pro tip #2 - order one pizza at a time for maximum freshness and less sogginess because the pizza is thin in the middle and fluffy all around. read more

Ok first off maybe unfair, but I know the difference between American Pizza and Neapolitan. I've been cooking wood fired Brick oven pizza for 13 years and I'm a former cook for 10 years of my life. I'm from NYC live in CA where the pizza is not good and buy my flour from Italy as well as my San Marzano Tomatoes and my fresh Mozzarella I usually get from an Italian market. I've had Pizza in Europe in Naples and in Barcelona, both excellent. First, The Margherita Pizza came out in about 3 minutes which seemed a bit quick. I asked for crushed red pepper and was rudely told no I said anything else and he said hot oil, I said ok yes please. The waiter passed me 4 times without the hot oil so I asked him nicely and he came with the oil. Waiter was very rude and does not like working there. Since the moment we went in he was pissy. A person across from us only ate 1/4 of his pie and left. I would normally complain but with the waiters attitude it wasn't worth it and who knows what he would do to a replacement, we leave for Naples in the morning. The Pizza seemed properly cooked on the outside but inside was doughy, very doughy, uncooked, sauce was barely warm. We were starving so we ate it and now my stomach is not feeling great. This pizza had very little flavor and was not cooked properly. Especially for a place with 4.5 stars that says they get all the ingredients from Italy. Not recommended and very rude to top it off. Turn down your oven and cook the dough.. or, you gave us reheated partially cooked pizza that wasn't reheated enough. These reviews must be from friends is the only explanation or they hate non French speaking people, (we are Danish and Colombian) to top it off we just got back to the hotel and my wife who only ate 1/4 is in the bathroom with the worst result just as I am finishing this review. I better be OK or this is going to be a terrible flight and pizza that ruined my birthday and vacation. So pissed. For the owner in case you need someone to blame it was June 14 at about 10:30PM My Birthday..... bad end to a perfect day. Now my gut is turning, maybe these guys gave us an old pizza or it was pre partially cooked and heated up, tomato sauce allowed to sit out can be very deadly, any rate, stay away, we should have went hungry. read more

This place was quite busy but super delicious. I came here for a nice dinner and was seated after about a 30 minute wait. The pizza was definitely worth the wait--and possibly one of the best pizzas I tried in all of Europe (even better than in Italy)! We randomly stumbled across this place after leaving the louvre and I just tell you THIS IS THE ABSOLUTE BEST pizza place in Paris! They seated us immediately,Nice ambiance, GREAT service, EXCELLENT pizza and our server Yoan was the beyond amazing! If I could give him 20 stars alone I definitely would! We had no idea what to order and he gave the best advice and was on top everything and very attentive! Great food but having great service made the experience a 10/10! My boyfriend and I came in last night after reading the Yelp reviews. It was around 10:30PM, and the restaurant was so alive. I loved everything about it. The service was fast, very helpful, and so kind. Obviously I should mention that the food was incredible. The flavor kick from the tomatoes along with the chewy, warm crust was my favorite part. We are big pizza fans, with collective pizza consuming experience spanning over half a century. While we have not tried all the pizzas we intend to try, up to this point, we are ready to crown Iovine's as the best pizza we've tasted. The crust was perfectly chewy-the way it would be in a dream. Definitely a locals spot (for now). Had to use goggle translate to figure out the menu options. We ordered the Iovine's and Regina pizzas with a carafe of wine. For dessert we ordered the tiramisu. The meal was really good! Highly recommended if you are craving pizza! read more

We immediately jumped not he opportunity, and immediately ordered. Franchesco came out with his wide happy smile and took our order. He a delight to have wait on us. We ordered the mortadella with pieces of parmigiano, a Smoking Hot pizza, and La Fameus Pate a la Truffe. We also ordered a nice bottle of wine from Sicily, Franchesco's homeland. The pizza and the pasta came out first, and we started eating right away. The pizza had the right amount of heat, and the pasta was not overwhelmed with truffles. Then came the mortadella which was delicious. We would have preferred the mortadella first, but we happy ate it. Inside, the place is huge, and loud. The ambiance is modern and feels upscale. As with all places in Europe, the temperature inside was hot- so we were actually happy to be sitting outside. Luckily we were not getting wet under the awning, but it was cold. Luckily, this place also provides blankets for your legs which we happily used. At the end of our meal, Franchesco brought us some Lomoncello and hung out with us telling us about Italy & France. Mozzarella cheese bites were the winner of the evening. So good the crumbs that covered the cheese were just wow. So tasty we ordered 3 servings of it. We ordered a small salad which was a generous portion for all of us. Good variety of wine list and very reasonably priced. Tiramisu was one of the dessert options and every bite met all our expectations. Overall great experience here they do squeeze a lot of people in there so you could be elbowing your neighbor on another table.

The service was excellent, the ambiance was perfection and the food was OUTRAGEOUS!!! We had the Lasagna, the Rigatoni, a glass of red wine and of course the Tiramisu for dessert... Obviously it was not a nut and the salad doesn't even have nuts in it! The staff... the man, the waitress, and the other server all as polite as can be start ignoring any of my requests to retrieve the piece I bit into and my requests to talk to a manager. It felt like they were laughing at my situation because every time I asked them a question, they would go talk to each other and laugh and would not answer the questions I was asking. Unhappy at not getting any sympathy from them or an apology, I finally asked them for more information about filing a claim for repairing my broken tooth and the server named Alice (I think... my French is bad), gave me the email address of someone to contact for Human Resources. They offered to have their insurance pay for any treatment so I guess I will take them up on it. I will update my review once they get back to me.

As mentioned in my other reviews we have small appetites, so we decided to split the Pizza Salsiccia based on its other reviews. When reading reviews, keep in mind that there are two locations for this restaurant. As I perused the reviews, it appeared that the other location, has more of the five star reviews. Despite that we decided to give it a try. The pizza was flavorful. I am a bit of a pizza aficionado, so my standards are very high. I would give the pizza a 3 star rating because it was very wet in the middle. The type where the topping pull off when pull a slice out. The coffee we had after was very good. Overall I think I can recommend this place with the caveat that I do not recommend the pizza, unless you like that type of dough.
