Gosh. Least friendly staff. Normally don't have an issue but the other night the staff was more interested in chatting than helping customers. I'll give me business to a smaller owned friendly liquor store. read more

My spouse went to the Pinkie's on Andrews Hwy today looking for a bottle of Elmer T. Lee and Rock Hill Farms. The staff directed him to the Pinkies on Big Spring St in Midland because they had one of each in stock. Upon his arrival he asked the staff for the bottles and was informed they DID have the bottles and they would not sell them to him because he was not a regular customer. I am extremely disappointed at the customer service, and am beyond disbelief that any business owner would allow this type of bias. Needless to say, we will no longer frequent Pinkies. As locals of this community, it is shame that our money wasn't good enough for your store. read more

The staff is kind and cozy. You forget you in Midland entirely, and you feel transported to a coffee shop in South Austin. That's how above and beyond this place feels The coffee is top notch every time. This time I got their Bourbon Latte from the winter menu, which was great, while my girlfriend got their Cafe de Olla that she really enjoyed. The space is nice for work or just relaxing. I got some reading in while my girlfriend knitted. It was a great time. If you are ever passing through Midland or live in the area, it is worth a stop. I got their light Landman Lager (you know because Landman is based in Midland), and it was crisp and easy to drink. My girlfriend got herself a darker brew that she loved as well. Couple minutes, order was ready. I asked for an apple fritter too but Johnny couldn't deliver his oven broke down. He apologized said he would have some tomorrow. No worries, headed to my office. Back on the twenty, I reached over and pulled a donut from the box, took a bite and instantly got taken back to the early 80s. Damn!!! No over saturated fats, no crisco on the roof of my mouth. No high fructose corn syrup sugars. Good lord!!! Who is Johnny?! Wow!!! Damn right I'll be back.
