Though I do enjoy shopping in store, I will won't be ordering for pick up again. When selecting items, you have the choice of no substitutions, a specific substitution, or something as similar as possible. However, I received different items than what I ordered and was told they are REQUIRED to substitute items or they will be graded poorly - regardless of what choice you made while placing the order. This is ridiculous! What can't I get what I want or nothing, and why would the shoppers be penalized for doing what I requested?!? read more

I just heard a radio ad where the guy stresses the importance of relationships...what a joke. I attempted to eat here in the 1 o'clock hour yesterday. Was served the oldest chicken tenders and okra I've ever gotten from any deli in my life. Chicken was cold and breading was gummy. The okra was inedible, chewy and gross. Then I bought a soda and they didn't tell me they only had medium until after my purchase, also there wasn't refills. Great store! This place is like way better than any grocery store in Utah. Fresh juices! Dinner kits with all the right ingredients. Local Texas products. You feel like you've gained 5 Texan points just by stepping in. We had a moneygram problem and he went above and beyond to help me. We shop here several times a week and we love the deli, the hot food market and the fresh seafood and steaks. This place is amazing! They have great sales with at least one meat buy one get one free every week. They also have amazing produce and the friendliest staff. I love the games and give aways they do with their rewards programs and they have the absolute best bakery and deli ever! When I go for a sale and they are sold out of the buy on get one or just don't have cuts/weights that fit my family they are always willing to get some ready for me really quickly. They also have great sample people who will tell you exactly how they made something you like and when they are out of a prepackaged food they make they will give you the spice information so you can make it at home. I really love them. (Try their southwest macaroni salad and salad bar!) read more

Ok, where I used to work they had market street catered for meetings frequently and it was always delicious. So tonight, we go to market street to get some fried chicken, green beans, mashed potatoes, home fries, and rolls for dinner. Literally the rolls and mashed potatoes were the only thing edible. Everything else had a disgusting metallic taste and was completely inedible. $25 for us to basically eat bread and potatoes. read more

I love this store. It's always clean and the sushi is really good for grocery store sushi. They always have people on the register and will work very hard to keep lines quick. This is a 24/7 store so it's nice when I want to grab something late to avoid people. read more

I really like this store. It's not as busy as Walmart. The employees are very friendly. The meat counter is well stocked, and the dry aged meat selection is really neat. So disappointed this morning because there were several employees who were not wearing their masks, but instead had them hanging down below the mouths. In other words masks were there but not up around mouth and nose. Please protect the older adults and those with poor health by wearing your masks! We hired their florist for our wedding & she was very nice! That's why I'm sad to say I was disappointed with the flowers. The colors were not what I was expecting, I told her no white & there was tons of white flowers we had to remove from the bouquets ourself. The arrangement I ordered for the arch was amazing, I will give her that, but some things were missing including a centerpiece & a corsage. They were the cheapest place so I guess you get what you pay for. read more

The best market hands down. Went 5here for bottle of wine and found the exact brand and style that originally was a craving. The employees in that dept are SUPER AT SERVICE AND FRIENDLINESS. Really great store, but dear god are some things overpriced. A single loaf of the cheapest gluten free bread for my aunt was $10. Most of the other stuff is pretty competitively priced other than that. The pharmacy section is severely lacking and confusing; just finding some Zyrtec took me over 5 minutes. That being said, that was the only negative part about it. The staff here are absolutely amazing with ringing you up and helping you find stuff, would come back again just for that experience. read more

If possible I'd give this place a 10 stars rating, the store is such a wonderful place to shop. Never have I had a bad experience. From the moment you park every employee is cheerful and happy to help in any way possible in every department. Not to mention the food is divine. Produce molds before i get home! I am an avid fruit checker. No one eats raspberries, blueberries and blackberries faster than my kids but I always check to make sure the bottoms aren't molded out. I swear we get home and next day the container is completely molded. They often have "buy one get one 50% off" on meat......... Where do I start? First of all, I understand people need this type of promo, hell I do and I feel we make a comfortable living, but to sell something so sketchy and nasty smelling is just so wrong. I could literally smell the old grayish chicken marked 50% off wafting up out of its cellophane wrapping into the air causing my stomach to repulse any of the meats in the vicinity of this area. How nasty. If you want to offer a good promo such as this "buy one get one 50 off" then offer the public (who spend a pretty penny here) decent meat, that's just nasty. My two stars are for the staff, they deserve more but crap like this takes away from the rating. Odessa will never better itself in public service because stores are not willing to set the bar. Set the bar and people will come, other stores will follow suit. read more

Evey time I go to market street I feel like I find something new. They have good sushi, just eat it the day you get it. Don't let it sit or else it is not very good. They have a lot to chose from and I don't think the lines are very long often. Their Starbucks is the best too. The baristas are super friendly and work hard to get your order right. read more

Love Market Street, there are so many organic options and hard to find items at this store, including my favorite brand of sprouted seed chips (they're better than they sound, I promise). They have a build your own six pack craft beer section, natural and organic beauty items (toothpaste, bath salts, soaps) and if you are a member of the kids club (free, sign up online), your kids get a free piece of fruit (apples, oranges) every time you shop. The employees are friendly and helpful, and checkout is fast. They have a great floral selection, deli, cafe, Starbucks with plenty of seating, and sushi, if you are into that. I just love shopping there! Have been since it opened up. Again, like the other reviews state the staff is fabulous. Kenny, is a great manager, then there is Darrel, in customer service, Leslie and Rachel are great. Then the lady's in the floral Dept. I bought some tulips one time. I have gotten expired goods here on several occasions. I have gotten meat from the "fresh" section that is packaged there, so does not have a date. It stinks up my refrigerator within 1 to 2 days. On other occasions, I wasn't paying attention, and got home to find that I had bought things that were already expired. I have 2 little kids, so it is hard for me to have to inspect every expiration date and find the time to bring back expired food. I don't know if it is a storage problem, because I have actually gotten chicken that went sour a couple days before expiration. I will be returning to HEB. read more
