Gutter cleaning that required a return visit within weeks -- and now the company won't even inspect…read morethe issue. I hired Men In Kilts to clean my gutters on April 30, 2025. Within a few weeks the front gutter was already overflowing, so I contacted them and they sent a technician back. During that return visit, the technician had to manually dig out a significant amount of debris, including asphalt shingle granules that were completely clogging the downspout, and mentioned that the gutter looked like it had not been fully cleaned during the initial service. Recently, several gutters started overflowing again during rain. When I reached out to the company, the initial response pointed to a tall tree seen in Google images as the likely cause. However, that tree had actually been removed in December 2023, well before the gutter service was performed. After I clarified that, the explanation shifted to "foreign objects" such as toys, rocks, and cans that had been removed previously. But if those items were already removed during the earlier service and return visit, they wouldn't explain the current overflow. Despite the original cleaning already requiring a follow-up visit shortly after it was done, the company declined to come out and inspect the gutters again. I was simply asking for someone to take a look before assuming a full new service was required, or at least discuss options. Based on this experience, I would recommend making sure every section of your gutters is actually cleaned and properly documented.

Jim and Spencer were quick to respond, showed up promptly as scheduled with a smile on their faces and finished the work thoroughly. Unfortunately, it turned out we did not have enough gutter guards to finish all the gutters on the house. It was our fault -- but, without missing a beat, they offered to come back and install the rest as soon as we had it. We would hire them again in a heartbeat for any future outdoor cleaning jobs!

We've never had our windows professionally cleaned before, but the price felt reasonable for the size of the house. Job was to take 3 days, turned into 12 days. Mike (owner) is very unprofessional and called me cursing me out on phone accusing me of assaulting his daughter and saying I had his men walking on eggshells when they were here all because I asked them to not walk on carpet with shoes. He also threatened to burn my table and demanded payment or would put lein on my home (all of this is on camera). I had to have police at my house when they returned my table top because I didn't know what he would do. I now have complete all the touch-ups myself, and had to fix a screw on a drawer and a door that his 'crew' didn't do right, and I have to hire someone else to re-do table top because he ruined it by the paint not being dry when they wrapped it and it has material imprints and other marks on it. Turns out their business name with BBB is listed as M&J Coatings and Painting LLC and are not Accredited. I learned my lesson by not checking BBB before hiring them. You're told that you have 2 year warranty, but they didn't fix the errors because he falsely accused me of assault and made threats to burn my property. So, now I no longer wanted them in my house and will have to fix it myself. Contract says He is licensed, bonded, and insured and would supply that information upon request, yet, when I requested it I never received it. My table top is still an unresolved issue because I had to get a quote to have it fixed and have requested refund from Mike in that amount. Mike not only refused to refund the amount but told us to not contact him anymore. Be careful who you do business with, they are not always what they portray (found him on Facebook) and there are other companies with the same exact wording in their advertisement. I have never had such unprofessionalism from a contractor and would never refer them to anyone for anything!
