We bought a house and needed the color changed from "realtor taupe" to something a bit more... airy. Robert showed up on time for the estimate appointment and we walked through the options available with his company. He was even willing to break down the bid into various components, so that we could decide if we wanted to do only portions of the work at the present. His bid was competitive but it was his initial customer service that really sealed the deal for us, when comparing with other bids. We ultimately chose Arrowhead Painting to do our main floor walls (open floor plan with an accent wall) as well as our stairway and upstairs hall. Not having to get on a ladder to get the upper reaches of the stairway walls was worth the price alone! We opted not to do the trim at this time, in order to save time and money. And we took on the task of painting the bedrooms ourselves. Robert was able to schedule our job on a very short timeline from when we accepted the bid to when we began the work. We wanted to get the painting done before we moved in. During this time, he was available for communication and worked to find a member of his team to get the job done for us. Right when we needed, painter Adrian was able to come out and do the prep work in an afternoon and then return to do most of the painting the next day. He finished up by mid-day on the third day. Adrian was friendly and conversational and his work was great! He made sure to do all the little things--nooks and crannies, above the cabinets, and all the edges were so clean! Speaking of clean, he left our unmoved-into home looking like no one had been there, it was so clean after his work was done. When it came time to do the walkthrough, he was willing to work with our hectic moving schedule and came back a few hours later. So this review isn't about the finish product, it's more about the estimate experience! During the estimate process, Robert has been excellent from the initial estimate to following up with emails. We had a few companies either didn't bother to follow up with emails/texts, or simply disappear after the initial estimates. Robert was always available for questions and I really appreciate that! When weather permitted the painting to start, they started and finished everything within four days. He was very professional and detail oriented. They removed or protected all of the little fixtures around the house--things we hadn't even thought about. Teo patched up some places where the wood siding was peeling, using a special primer to help the wood hold together better. Truly full service. He was also very flexible and accommodating with our needs. Here's one example: there was one part of the trim that we weren't sure if we should paint it the trim color or the house color. We were feeling indecisive but Teo was patient as we thought it through, and he even sent us photos of the progress while we were at work so we could better visualize it and make a more informed decision. He also shared his opinion when we asked for it, which helped us feel more confident in our choices (it's a big deal to redo the whole look of your house!). I'm so glad we accepted his recommendations--they ended up looking great! On top of the excellent painting job, Teo really went above and beyond our expectations. For example, the wood trim at the base of our garage door had rotted away over the years. He pointed this out and explained that prior to painting it, he would cut out the crumbling parts and replace the bottom sections with fresh pieces of wood. The results were beautiful! And on top of that, he voluntarily fixed two separate pre-existing issues with our front door so that it would close and latch better. The master bath was about 60sq ft (excluding alcove shower) in a 1999 3-story condo, and the job scope included: demolish/remove original alcove tub, sinks, vanity, mirror, vinyl flooring, baseboards install new tub with 12x24" tile shower walls install new shower fixtures at taller height install 12x12" tile flooring install new plywood, solid-door vanity install new porcelain sinks and hardware install shower curtain rod install vanity backsplash tile install tile baseboards The half bath was about 25sq ft and the job scope included: install new toilet with appropriate flange install new stand-alone vanity install sink fixture Michael and Chevy did the work themselves and met every timeline. Michael was responsive and communicative, quickly notifying us of changes. He got the job done with high-quality standards and within a reasonable timeframe, despite delays and set backs. For example, in late Feb 2025 there was a significant snow/ice storm that delayed the project by 2 days. Michael showed up on the weekends to continue the job to try and make up time. He was consistent, reliable, and transparent. Another example: Our master bath floor was not level enough for the tile, and Michael was clear and open about what had to be done to get the job finished to a top-quality standard. It added a couple days to the timeframe (and some cost), but the final result was well worth it. Last example: The half bath toilet flange had several errors from the original build and contractor work, and the toilet we bought had a manufacturing defect (leak) we found after installing the toilet. Despite these obstacles and added time, Michael brought the flange to code, uninstalled the defective toilet, and installed the defect-free replacement. There were several curveballs with our job and Michael handled them professionally and courteously, making sure we were involved with every change decision along the way. We are thinking about hiring him for our second (guest) bath remodel, and wish him all the success a small business owner can have!

We Recently had dry wall repairs done in our home prior to painting. Out of 10 dry wall repairs 1…read morewas overlooked. It was marked to be repaired but just painted and not repaired. The two Workman were nice and very polite. Usually on time However they did not pay attention to details and preparation before painting. Furniture was covered but areas that should be protected from the ceiling and wall paint were not sufficiently masked off or protected from paint splatter. Two areas on the living room carpeting had good size paint drops and looked as if the workers tried to clean the area but what ever they used, left the carpet discolored . There should have been better protection while painting. Also some ceiling paint splatter on pleated shades. Again they did not protect the area. One hard wood floor vent had paint drips in between the grates. Home owner was able to remove it with efforts. Business owner apologized for the incomplete dry wall repair and said he would send a different crew to fix. He Apologized for the carpet spots with no solution. Our advice is to instruct his crew to pay more attention to protecting the home owners areas that aren't part of the work they are hired for and to detail work around moldings, doorways , windows and fixtures. We had only one area of white woodwork that was painted, the stair railing. Result was satisfactory but not as well done as previous areas in the past. Homeowner chose not to have any other woodwork painted and is satisfied with that choice. The home owner was very prepared prior for the job to start, having moved furniture, light fixtures, wall electrical plates, drapes and obvious obstructions before the workers arrived. This handyman was chosen because he could provide both dry wall repair and painting. His bid for the job was fair but the completed overall work by his crew was below average more due to the painting including lack of care in the preparation and detailing. We are left to do lots of touch up areas around moldings, window and door casings, in the rooms that were painted.
